To Pablo Escobar Jon Panik S50 QUE 1st S51 STO 3rd To Jeff Hamilton So, we'll keep this brief and to the point. Everyone knows the process we're going through. I stepped into a position where someone else built this team with their own vision. I am now in the process of doing so with my own vision. Hamilton came for a cup and I didn't want to wait until I potentially failed him to let him down, thus, as I promised my boys - I am accommodating him and think I've done a great job at hopefully finding him a cup. Also, as you know, Sterling is an FA next year and I have a feeling if we don't win - he'll be exploring other options. This was a safe, good move for us to continue in the direction we're going. @sterling When I first took on the role, you helped me a significant amount. Whether it was me hounding you as a VHLM GM to trade me your boys or you helping me here, always seems as though you're helping me succeed. Thank you for resigning with us! I owe you so much thanks and am grateful. Also, I'd rather see Brov win than Molholt so giver, sterling. @brovy Well, I hope this is enough to push you guys forward to fuck Toronto up. Good luck & thanks, mate. @Victorbecause y not Accept.
  4. yay. @Beketov 1st W, mate.
  5. Mullers first goal! Clegane's first win!
  6. "GM Campbell On Holik". You'll be in the media spot, B. Just too lazy to write it right now.
  7. wut. I actually had a good game?
  8. I suck
  9. Last night, a huge deal went down in the VHL which saw the HC Davos Dynamo acquiring Shawn Muller and Sandro Clegane, while the Seattle Bears got a 1st and 2nd for this season, along with young goalie Jakab Holik. A shock to many, it must have been a pretty tough deal for the Bears to pull the trigger on and this was proven as fact by Campbell. However, when speaking about the young goalie his team acquired, he had nothing but excellent things to say. I knew that if Clegane was going and we were going to commit to this retool/rebuild, whatever you wanna call it, that it would make our lives a thousand times easier to nab a young goalie with Clegane as opposed to getting some picks and when the time came try to find a goalie to lead us the way. I think a lot of people can agree with me in saying that while Holik is already good, he has the potential to become a pretty elite goalie in the VHL. Along with his progression, his agent is excellent and I feel as though we landed someone who will be as loyal to us as we will be to him. What I see in the future is a Holik sticking it out with us through the rougher times and it ending up with a cup being hoisted up by his arms over his head wearing a Bears jersey. Long story short, I'm very thrilled and excited to see what this kid can do for us. He's gonna be that guy that becomes a big deal here in the streets of Seattle.
  10. Will be posting an article on this sometime next week, MAYBE tonight. Tough trade, I will admit, but this is the smarter route for us to go with how competitive the NA is. Jardy should be getting some easy W's and Muller some big points against those weak EU teams. Again, difficult to trade 2 great people away but that's the name of the game when it comes to being a GM. Mike did a great job, I tried ot give us that push this season and it wasn't strong enough. Time to build up! The Bears will be the team to beat in 2-3 seasons. @JardyB10 @StevenStamkos91 I've sent you a PM prior to all of this. I thank you both for everything - the help and being apart of the team and the LR and wish you all of the success in the EU conference. @Beketov - I'm very excited to add you to the roster. It may be tough a short while, but once and IF my plan works, I want you to be the guy to lead our dynasty team to all the cups! @Gooningitup, cheers for the enjoyable and confusing talks haha. Accept.
  11. Smarch please.
  12. Mama bear put down. GM Campbell steering team in his own direction? Bear cub will be a beast soon. That's a promise!

  13. Well, I suck but there you go Theo and Diana.
  14. Pounded.
  15. With giving the opportunity to everyone of having an additional player, it only makes sense to lift the cap to the point that teams are able to sustain at least 2 lines. Currently, we can realistically do 1 line of full players. You either have 2 forward lines, 1 D pair and a goalie or 1 forward, 2 D pair and a goalie. Would be nice to have 2 of each, you know? And if we're currently rolling at 1 line and doubling the amount of players, we'd need to look into the cap and see what to do. Maybe a 6 M increase imo but that will be largely up for debate imo. 36-40 M cap imo.
  16. Good that you tagged me. I hadn't seen this and I'm 110% for it. I see it benefiting the VHLM and VHL largely in terms of activity and competitiveness. Having 2 players would allow us to stay in juniors to help the new members and have things so much more active and interesting there, while it opens the doors to possible expansion one day in the VHL, ORm stronger, more depthed teams in the VHL. Would be fun to have 2-3 lines or a full team of lines to do, yeah know?
  17. I agree with Victor and prefer that version more. This seems to complex and would be difficult to bring about and control imo. Also, would it not create a flood of players into the VHLM - while still having the similar amount in the VHL? It would be great for the VHLM but wouldn't do much for the VHL. The purpose was to affect both the VHL and VHLM. Along with that, I have a question regarding the seasons spent in the VHLM as CAPPED. Obviously those seasons WOULD NOT count as you 8 seasons in the VHL and it would only start counting once Player A were to retire, correct? Again, too complex and I prefer the other version better. This way would maybe largely help the VHLM keeping all of us down their to help the newer means and keep things active and interesting, however, the other way balances it out and allows us to increase multiple aspects in both the VHL and VHLM. It makes both leagues more competitive, more active and all around more enjoyable imo and I think for a celebration to S50, It's something we should strongly look at implementing in the offseason and giving it a spin. Of course, try it out and make tweaks as we need to in following off seasons but I think this 2 player thing will largely benefit the league, especially if we continue to see good recruiting being done. Could mean more competitive leagues.. actually 2-3 lines of forwards OR a small expansion.
  18. Riga Quebec Toronto New York
  19. Yeah, didn't know but lines are in. Oops My bad, boys.
  20. Next time, please just help (you didn't). Thanks, Vic.
  21. Well, I'm a rookie GM. Your job is supposed to help, no? Especially as a experienced member and Admin? Not be the opposite? But yes, sorry. I missed that. I simply remember Eagles saying I should have one of my D play F and didn't realize. Lines have been sent.
