  1. Bratislava claims Sir William Covington III. 2 steals in one day? Cool.
  2. Sorry, boys. Bratislava will claim Kasey Morgan.
  3. You heard it here first. You know those mornings when you wake up, open your eyes slowly to the birds chirping, roll over to kiss your girlfriend and remember she's an absolute bitch? How about those days where you work long hours in the blistering hot sun, excited to come home to a big smile, warm food on the table and the pure comfort of your home - only to have it ruined by a woman standing at the door with his arms crossed, microwaved hot dogs and dog shit on your carpet? At least you think it's dog shit. Dear god if she's been shitting on the floor this whole time to spite you for working long hours to afford her expensive clothing, makeup and breast implants. We feel as though Blake Campbell is having a "Wow, my girlfriend's a total cunt" season. We feel sorry for the lad, we truly do. Best wishes with your hot dogs this season, Blake. Curb the bitch season and get your came back on track.
  4. It's known for goalies in any league to go through little droughts when it comes to effectively shutting down their opponents and closing the door. Let's be honest, even the best of the best have off nights every now and then, but that doesn't make them any less than the "best". We've taken a look at one guy in particular who has seen much glory and success both as an individual and within his teams, but his career has certainly taken a slight dip this season. Due to this, we've taken a look, talked to the man of the hour and wanted to come up with a conclusion. We asked ourselves if he was heading into a drought and if so, how long it would really last. Luckily, this guy is not camera shy so he gave us the complete down low on what he thought. Prior to the interview, we had taken a look at his statistics from previous seasons. During his first season of play, he played behind elite goalie - now retired - Brick Wahl. In his rookie campaign, he played 23 games, posting a record of 19-1-1 with a GAA of 1.40, SV% of .930, along with 8 shutouts. For a first year goalie, I'd say that's a pretty crazy record. The following season, he showed that he was able to play consistent, strong hockey and managed to help his team find a playoff berth and contend as far as they could, losing in game 7 of the semi finals. Within this season, he went 44-15-5, with a GAA of 1.93, SV% of .917 and 6 SO. Given this, Campbell has a career record of 63-6-6 (obviously excluding this season). During his career, the spotlight has been on him for numerous of reasons. When he first entered the league, he was the furthest thing from camera shy. He let the media know of his intentions, as well as the pro league managers, and proved in the locker room, on the ice and in the training facilities that he had the potential to become the real deal. However, as most players go, he started to slump at the end of last seasons playoffs. A common thing among most new players/members, but a concern for the Stockholm management still. The question remains: is this just a slight drought, or is it an everlasting dessert that's gonna suck every drop of success out of Stockholm until they've run dry? We got to hear it from Blake himself and it looks like rain may be on the way. "It's been tough for me the last little while to stay competitive and on my best game. I think it may be a mental thing. I came in pushing so hard that I may have overworked myself and we all know that's never a good thing. I'm not saying hard work is bad and that you can never work too hard - I think I just went a little overboard. I look to be the guy in net for Stockholm. Nobody is going to take that away from me. I worked fairly hard to get to where I am, Stockholm is my home and it's where I want to win a cup. I will do what it takes to win a cup and if that means I need to be better for my teammates, than I will raise the level of my game and training in order to help my boys win those close games. We've struggled this season and a portion of it could be because of me. My numbers have dropped significantly and I feel a lot of weight right now on my shoulders. It's gonna be a hell of a battle, but I'm going to win it."
  5. It's almost become cliche for Blake Campbell to post boring, unexciting interviews regarding himself in hopes of the highest reward being given to him in 6 TPE. When he initially started the league, we witnessed big things from the young netminder. Within his first 3 days, he whipped out his Biography, Rookie Profile, Media Spot and other things available to him. This made him a big target and hot commodity if you will. All eyes were on Campbell to continue this effort and see if his bite was better than his bark. For quite sometime, he proved them to maybe not be wrong, but at least proved them he could bring this level of game to the VHL. He continued on this route, but over the last while has begun to slow down. His training is less frequent than what he used to do and he's not that active among team activities anymore. The questions remain of course and will be answered by one of our trusted analysts, Dick PhuckMehTittays. 1. Is Blake Campbell bored with the Stockholm Vikings? "Blake Campbell resigned a contract 2 years ago. Generally, players commit to a 3 year deal which is what most of his Stockholm teammates had done. However, Blake Campbell only wanted to sign on for 2 seasons. Rumor has it, he didn't want to commit to the longest term just incase he got bored or began to dislike the organization. He didn't want to become stuck. Of course, this is just rumor and Campbell is still often seen walking with his newly born son sporting a Stockholm jersey and Viking hat." 2. He's a Free Agent this year.. Do you think he'll leave? "Some are saying yes, while others are saying no. I would like to believe no, but there's been no contract talks in the making at this very moment of the season which may lead some to think he's on his way out. From a management point of view, he has been slacking lately, but of all the goalies in the league, he's done a pretty damn good job for Stockholm. Plus, he's still fair aged compared to lots in the league. The question here would be... where would he go? I do't believe he'd stay in the conference but he did once say that if he were to leave, it could be for a Canadian team." 3. Expectations for Blake Campbell? "It's honestly up in the air right now. He could become himself again and really run with the training and work his way towards becoming an elite goalie, or he could continue his slump and potentially retire rather than waste his time. I think we're going to have to watch from now until the end of playoffs to see where he's really at mentally and physically." 4. Retire? You honestly think he's thinking about retiring? "Yes and no. For the sake of his career and the lack of effort he's putting into training and his career currently, we feel like he may be considering the idea in a season or two if he doesn't start moving forward. We also believe no, as we know he wouldn't want to screw over the Stockholm Vikings. When he was drafted into the organization, he was told that he'd be there man for likely his entire career. He also said to them that this is my home, it's where I want to play and I will become something worth your time. He's lived up to his words so far. He's had great seasons with the team, but I'm sure they're still hoping that he continues his climb to the top of his peak. There's much potential left there for Campbell." 619 WORDS YEAH
  6. Blake Campbell, although a fairly short career still, has been a Stockholm Viking since the day he was drafted. The Vikings, and GM Boub, had taken him 8th overall in the first round. Since, he has sinced multi year deals, however, on the last one only decided to sign for 2 years than 3. A large rumor going around Stockholm is that the up and coming goalie may want out of the Vikings. Reasonings behind this are the falling apart roster, Streetlights constant snoring (Campbell's roommate), and Boub's obsession over group hugs in the showers after wins OR losses. Only time will tell what's going to happen with Blake Campbell and his last season on his contract? Where will he end up? We're honestly not too sure. Wanna like, take some guesses or some shit? If it were me I would force retire Winsgate and bring in Campbell, but that's just me. Hey Draper, hows it going man? Just need some extra words. Fuck you Eagles - one love brah.
  7. tbh, compare members breast sizes. Make an article about that. I'd do more than just read it. Especially if we get Smarch and Eagles pics.
  8. y am i so gud boub? wut did u put in the water? #SomeoneDrugTestCampbell
  9. Taking care of business, erryday. S44 Super Cup Champs. Sup?

  10. Blake Campbell was recently notified that he had been nominated for the JAck Reilly award, which is awarded to the top GM in the VHLM. Campbell, unlike his other 2 nominees, faced much more of an uphill battle when it came to building a contending team. Both Oslo and Saskatoon were fortunate enough to have multiple strong pieces on their organizations, while Bratislava literally had holes everywhere you looked. When asked about his thoughts on this situations, this is what Campbell has to say. It's an amazing honor to be nominated for such a prestigious award during my rookie campaign as a general manager in the VHLM. Our season was extremely successful and it wasn't easy to reach the limits we managed to achieve. It took a lot of hard work, dedication and determination. Along with those 3 things is time. It took a lot of time. But I'm sure most of you know that whom are GM's. As for winning the award, I'd strongly say that I'm a top candidate for sure but D_A put on a hell of a show too. He made a lot of solid moves, especially at the end of the season and gave it one hell of a run. Sure. Saskatoon was an epic roster but in my opinion, their new GM was gifted a bit stronger of a roster than the other teams. Either way, I'm very honored to be nominated and wish the other candidates the best of luck. If I win, wow. That's all I can say. Amazing. Afterwards, GM Campbell released a photo with that caption saying: "A vote for me is a vote for these puppies" "ORRRRR THESE PUPPIES"
  11. Blake Campbell has been an up and coming name ever since he entered the VHLM back in December. Since then, he has come along way. I guess you could say "started from the bottom now we're here". He's had the determination, focus and effort of a true athlete and has continuously proved to us that he could potentially become a very important, elite player and person for the VHL. From raising the Founders Cup, to winning a Silver Medal as GM to many other notable achievements early on in his VHL experience, let's take a look back and review his young career. Minot Gladiator Days - 1st Season Blake Campbell entered the league and within his first couple days, nailed our every TPE achievement he could possibly do. This includes his Media Spot, Bio, Rookie Scouting Report and others. He seemed to be a big fish in an extremely small pond. However, due to the amount of goalies already in the league - he wasn't needed in many places. He sat in waivers for quite sometime before Minot finally picked him up. There he played very few games, missed the playoffs and got a few slivers in his ass from the bench. Needless to say, he was thankful for the opportunity Minot gave him. VHLM Free agent, The Blades and the Cup. During his next season, Blake Campbell was left out of the draft. Hilarious, right? First the guy has to wait a week plus to be claimed off waivers, now he's being left out of the draft. How has he stayed active lots must wonder. However, this gave him the opportunity to become a free agent. He was given a time limit and during that time he scoped out the clubs. Final decision? Tfong and the Brampton Blades. Throughout the season, Campbell showed true promise and managed to sport a record of 62-8-2. The Blades continued their rampage into the playoffs where they eventually won the Founders Cup. Stockholm Vikings Blake Campbell was selected 8th overall by the Stockholm Vikings in S42's draft. During his first season of play, Campbell played behind elite goalie and soon to be retiree, Brick Wahl. Campbell says he learned a lot that season and it clearly showed that through his record. Through 23 games that season, Campbell went 19-1-1 posting a .930 SV% and a the lowest GAA in the league at 1.40. On top of that, he got 8 shutouts. The following season, the reigns were handed over to Campbell. With a record of 44-15-5, a SV% of .917 and a GAA of 1.93, Campbell once again had proven he can get the job down. Although his numbers were slightly off from the season prior, this was his first season as a true starting goaltender in the VHL. The team went on to Game 7 of the Semi Finals but lot out in a heartbreaking game. After the game, Campbell was seen crying in Boubabi's arms. Team USA GM & That Beautiful Silver Medal Along with his playing career, Campbell also sidelines as a GM. His first opportunity came forward at the World's this season. Being asked personally by the commissioners to submit an application, Blake Campbell was selected to lead Team USA towards a gold medal. They started off bumpy but eventually found their strong stride, however, they sadly came up short. Team USA claimed a Silver Medal at the S43 Worlds. BRATISLAVA WATCHMEN Blake Campbell had an extremely brief stint with the Oslo Storm as an assistant GM, prior to being hired on as the Bratislava Watchmen's GM. Campbell entered into an organization that had a beaten up roster and numerous holes to fill. With 2 actives on the roster, Campbell knew he either had to go all in and forfeit the hand and hope for better luck next time. Him being the type of guy to not roll over and die, went all in with the permission of two of his biggest stars. Numerous trades, waiver signings and a massive Free Agent signing in Coca Cola, he truly built the team into an European Conference contender and the only team to possibly topple the Oslo Storm. They made it to Game 7 of the 2nd round. Further than anyone I'm sure expected and so close to the finals. They lost, but what a hell of a ride. They started with so little and came so far. I'm sure people expected them to make the 2nd round regardless, but to build a roster from nothing and go 7 games deep against an obvious winner - that shows some true colours. Colors bright enough to get him recognized as one of the three nominees for executive of the season. Conclusion Campbell remains the starting goalie for the Stockholm Vikings and the Head GM of the Bratislava Watchmen. He continues to train hard and work hard in his office. Recently, Campbell had named an assistant GM to the Watchmen in Ahma's. Stay tuned - likely will put on another show for the fans of the Watchmen.
  12. Wouldnt it be amazing to have one of my favorite dmen playing in front of me?!
  13. Retire and come back as a Campbell tbh. We'll be love brother.
  14. When I was initially hired into the position, I was more green at the job then my green name tag itself. I've been a team GM in other leagues and had GM'd Team USA to a silver medal, but juniors are unlike any others. It's a stepping stone to the big leagues and a vital piece of the entire site. If you fail as a GM, your players can go inactive and therefor, no benefit to the league. For me, I had one hell of a hill to climb in order to bring the Watchmen to a competitive level of hockey. We had 2 active members on our roster which contributed to our locker room. Davidson (Smitty) and Valmount (ahma) were easily the biggest pieces to our success this season and without them I could not have come this far in my first season. I approached them with the option to being dealt. To give them the opportunity to win and succeed elsewhere. In return, they gave me the option to either freely explore the market or for them to stay and try. So began our climb up. I had a vision in mind and I believe we executed it fairly well. I'm not the type of person to roll over easy, give up and forfeit the match. I knew that it wasn't going to be easy, but I had the support of my few players and the determination needed to accomplish the climb. During the season, we brought in numerous of players via trade, signed a lot of young guys of waivers who were healthy members of our locker room and managed to pick up one of the biggest goalies in the league in Coca Cola. We started from pretty much nothing and grew and became successful enough to attract such assets to our organization. We failed to reach our goal of being champions but to be honest, I did not even expect a game 7 battle with Oslo. I knew we'd make the 2nd round, or at least hoped because you truly never know sometimes, but we went further than I thought we would. Oslo was a strong opponent and raped the our conference. Towards the end of the season and near the deadline, they made significant trades that only made them stronger. In my opinion, they were the team to beat from our conference and it all came down to one game. For me, there's nothing to be ashamed of. It was one hell of a season. I've already done it once, but I just wanted to thank my boys again for one hell of a season, for the fun in the LR that we had all season long and for the support in my and my vision of building a successful roster. I'm sorry that we failed to go further. Our roster may not have been strong enough, but we tried. If you think about where we were, 2 forwards, not a dmen at all and no goalie to having a couple active forwards, 4-5 dmen and at one point, 3 active goalies (including Cola - the beast of all things sugar and sweet), we climbed one hell of a hill and did it quickly. If you're leaving the team and this is your last year with Bratislava, thank you gents on making it one hell of hoorah and memorable first year for me behind the bench. NOW FOR THE WATCHMEN'S BIG ANNOUNCEMENT It's a management change, ladies and gents. I'm unsure if it's common in the league, VHLM or VHL, if additional managers are a thing, but it will be here in Bratislava. I will remain Head GM of the Watchmen for as long as the league lets me, until I pass away or until my time has come that I've had enough and pass the reigns down. However, over the course of this season I spent a lot of time talking to a member of this site. Someone who became a fairly good buddy and had helped me with additional thoughts on deals, players and how things were going with the team. In my opinion, he's highly deserving of a CO-GM position with myself and has shown amazing loyalty, support and dedication to myself and the success of Bratislava. Without further delay, the announcement of Bratislava's new CO-GM (and potentially first ever?). AHMA! Congrats buddy on the position. I know you've known for a week or two, but now it's official. I look forward to future talks, us working together and your support and helpful guidance over the course of however long this partnership lasts. Hopefully together we can once again bring successful campaigns to Bratislava and possibly a cup! Here's to a great future, buddy, Thank you, Bratislava Watchmen GM
  15. but you dealt him BEFORE he got to 50 TPE. Sorry, not sorry.

Maybe more idk?
  17. When I had first taken the job as Watchmen's Head GM, the team was in shambles and we had only two active members on the roster in our locker room. The odds were stacked against us and things didn't look to positive regarding a trip to the finals and promiseland. Shortly after my hiring, I asked my boys (Smitty and Ahma) if they wished to say or pursue a championship elsewhere. Both had stated to do what I thought was best. If they were to stay, they would gladly do so. I am not the type of person or GM to roll over easy, die and give up quickly. I had a plan in mind and we executed it fairly well I believe. We brought in waiver players, made numerous trades and signed a star free agent goalie in Coca Cola. Our season may have been cut short due to an amazing, epic series with the Oslo Storm - but we made it closer to the finals than we expected. I knew Round 2 was likely a go, but never did I expect a Game 7 battle with Oslo. Our season was full of fun in the Locker Room, many accomplishments and top notch play from our players, and a lot of positivity in my opinion. So as stated, we came short but I feel as though we have nothing to be ashamed of and that each member should be proud of our end result. I'd like to publically thank my team and fellow members of the Bratislava Watchmen for one hell of a season. Ahma's and Smitty, I could not have done it without you boys being on board with the vision that I saw the team potentially coming. To the guys who were waived onto the team or came through trades, thank you for doing so with an open mind and with such positivity within our LR. I apologize that we could not make it any further than what we had. Slightly, I feel that I had failed you and for most, I can not make it up to you. If you're leaving our team after this season completes, thank you so much for your service and best of luck where ever you are next season and in your careers. I will be making a Media Spot basically about our season, reiterating what was said above and with the announcement regarding the future of Bratislava and the next platform of my plan for success. Stay tuned, it'll be worth the wait. Thank you, Blake Campbell, GM of the Watchmen
