i think technically not? IIRC in the States the Electoral College voters don't have to vote for what their district votes for. So like the district could vote Dem but the Electoral College voter could vote Rep, and then Rep would get the seat. In Canada I don't think that's a possibility, and the popular vote in the constituency gets the seat.

this is off topic but couldnt these arguments be used against vaccine mandates too. I guess the argument would be that not getting vaccinated puts others at risk so therefore your choice just isnt affecting you. But from a pro-life prospective they fundamentally see a fetus as a human from conception, so by having an abortion it isnt just affecting you, its affecting the human inside of you too. Ive also heard arguments that abortion affects family around you but I think thats kind of dumb

is any of this actually perjury though? I'm not an expert on this, but none of this seems like lying under oath. Obviously the only context I have is the quotes given but all of these are true. Top left Roe vs. Wade was important precedent. Top right is just the person saying that currently it is law and he accepts the law. Bottom left is similar to top left, it was settled as precedent. Bottom right Roe vs. Wade did hold that the constitution protected abortion rights. I don't have context for the questions that led to these answers, but all of it is true, and isn't them saying they wouldn't vote to overturn it, just them saying that it exists as precedent and that they'll follow the law. Guess you could argue about the use of "settled", but even then couldn't the justices just say they changed their minds and they did believe what they said at the time? Also note I'm not in the position of defending the SC ruling, I think it's disgusting, I'm just not sure this can be called perjury or not.

Hi, To some peoples happiness I'm stepping down from Vancouver. I've already accomplished pretty much everything I wanted to as a GM, and just don't really have the motivation to put in the effort to make Vancouver continue to succeed. I'd like to thank the Blues for giving me the job, and all the people in Vancouver who worked to make the team what it was over the past 4 seasons. 1. It's good enough to not need glasses but also bad enough to probably need glasses. 2. I got/get to play league of legends with my best friend @Enorama 3. Theme week is overrated - coming from someone who hasn't done a PT in 4 seasons 4. It's wheels and it's not even close. Cars on average have more wheels than doors. Housing is cancelled out by office chairs. Lego produces hella wheels. Doors has no arguments. 5. Well I tried to start an anime club but @Kylrad ruined it. 2. I liked heartstopper on Netflix, not anything amazing but I thought it was nice and was super easy to watch 3. I guess the reasonable place to go to would be Halifax, unreasonable I feel like Geneva would be really nice. Halifax because I'm going there for uni and seems like a nice little town on the coast. this is a nice thread i'm graduating high school like exactly 2 months from now, which is exciting but also weird. i've been going to the same school since kindergarten (K-12), so kinda crazy that I will hardly see any of these people that I've known for 4-12 years again. I've technically already graduated, so this semester is kind of just a formality. Just taking religion (required), psych (really fun course), and then AP Math and AP Eng Lit. AP exams are in like a week, and then after that I just have 2 pretty chill classes for the rest of the year which is dope. For Uni I accepted an offer from Dalhousie in Halifax, so I guess I'll be terrorizing Bek in person in 4 months. I'll be studying Commerce and probably specializing in finance, but not really sure where I want to go with that yet, don't really want to work on wall street or anything, I've settled for just working at some chill company office job. I think working in E-sports would be cool, but no idea how to get into that + most are American companies and I don't really want to live there lmao. Also went on a few dates with this girl in my class, was really good and have the next one this sunday, no idea what we're doing yet but if people have ideas hmu

oh yeah I was just talking about discord DMs. I think a lot of the problems with meta was that the community thinks that teams with high tpe should be the ones winning, because it equates to work put into the league, and if you put in more work you should be more succesful. Problem with meta is that it doesn't require as much work, and is just as competitive with people who do put in a lot of work, so makes people question why they put in all the work they do if they could do less for the same success. Which I don't disagree with. SHL definitely tested actual sim engine theories, like which stats make you good, which make you bad, different attribute line combinations. I don't think there will be anything new in that aspect for STHS, low passing and high scoring will always be good. I think a new meta would be formed just with how tpe is allocated in builds now. I have theories that like prioritizing defense over scoring might be really good, but I'm not going to test that or how like a whole team with 70sc and 90df would perform against a team with 80sc and 80df.
