I have probably been one of the most outspoken members advocating for changes like these since I joined. This is what a step forward for the VHL looks like and I am super happy our BOD was able to take a step in the right direction you get a rare BladeMaiden high five boys!!

I figured this was the case to some degree. I guess my point is why put interim in front of it at all. We all know when Quik comes back there would be a discussion, I feel like that title is semantics. Maybe the point is that people should not be allowed to just disappear and not respond without repercussions. We all get the messages that go to our email, I doubt any GM does not get the private messages. At that point is is choosing not to respond and there should be an issue with that kind of negligence in any position. But that is just my opinion as one of the people that has filled in for a GM who has gone missing. Honestly you can't blame me for questioning the hiring practices of the VHL, you already know my opinions on them aren't stellar but it looks like we can at least agree on Jubo being a great choice.

Come On Blues, Commit Already!! Recently there was an announcement in the VHL that @Jubo07 was made interim GM of the Helsinki Titans. This article may shock people because for once I am not here to complain about management’s decision. In fact, I commend them for giving Jubo a shot at the big time. When we worked together in Philly I could not think of a better person to have at my back and I know from experience playing for him back when Brick was on Vegas that he is a dedicated and hard working GM. He, like myself, had been harshly criticized for playing to win. In what I consider to be the biggest mistake the VHLM ever made he was passed over for Reapers GM out of the petty spite of a commissioner who could never seem to deal with those that had opinions that differed from his own. When looking back on how things have worked out for Jubo maybe it was for the best. He got a bulk of a season off and now gets to step up in the big leagues. Why is Interim a thing in the VHL? My only question is why interim? Honestly, the is noncommittal decision may have to do with the league hoping @Quik will return but if that is true then why hire @Beaviss as one of the new blues? Seems like our commies need to nut up and commit to what might be the best GM to ever grace the site. I know these are bold words, but hey, I am a bold girl. Nothing would give me more joy than seeing Jubo bring yet another team glory and I know he will do that in Helsinki! <------The one and only emoji Jubo ever added to my Reaper LR, It would fit Helsinki too! (just sayin') hope it brings you luck there a well !

I love on you more than anyone ... Your numerous awards and cups say otherwise. But i have been asking myself why the 2 highest TPE Goalies are not just shutting everything down. This sim makes no sense like that but i would say the sim loves on you. At least more than it does on me and at least the ASG does not hand you your own ass on a platter each off season lol,

Openly left his girl friend of 7 years for a man on his team, then left that man for Tsuzu.to make matters worse this tendie is currently perusing @omgitshim Cinnamon Block... - Fang This is actually Brick, Brick is famously Bisexual and has persued man tallented players in the VHL. He is currently hoping Cinnamon Block will be his baby momma ; ) 11.) Punched out a referee in his minors career - Fang @uphillmoss Fang got ejected from one of his games in the VHLM for this reason. I was his VHLM GM at the time was not amused... 12.) Travels with his beloved giant inflatable duck - Brick Wahl At the famous Reapers summers bash Fang fell in love with his giant inflatable duck which @OrbitingDeath popped. GM Katherine Blade patched up the duck with an embarrassing patch for the feisty goalie and he has brought Dr. Duckstructicus everywhere since that event. He was even in the stands fully inflated at the VHL draft and there are many pictures of former Reapers with it on draft day! 13.) Almost didn't get drafted to the wranglers over an AGMing scandal. - Brick Sometimes ambition bites you in the ass. Some GMs like to know that you are 100% team loyal. @Bushito was looking for a career loyal goalie and didn't want to waste a pick on someone that @Beaviss in vancouver could easily corrupt. We all know how this turns out, I am still wrangler loyal and now AGM for Bush. Somethings just work out in the end, even it it takes almost a year to get there. 14.) Created mid draft in the minors to go to a specific team. - Brick Although this is something Brick (or I) would totally do, it actually was not the case this time. Fang Flash Back created Mid-Draft to go to The Philadelphia Reapers. Rumor has it he regrets nothing and has said he would totally do it again if it hadn't caused a rule change.

The Calgary Wahl Crisis It will surprise no one after this year’s playoffs that Brick Wahl is considering early retirement. Wahl comes from a prestigious hockey family and his uncle, also named Brick Wahl, is a VHL HOF Legend. Wahl had this to say after the wranglers got swept tin a heart breaking series against the Seattle Bears. “It is hard to look forward and see myself having the career I once dreamed of. There are many young ambitious talented goalies that want the chance to be a starting goal tended and I think they all deserve the change that I was given. Bushito believed in me from day one. He gave me a team to call home but at this point I begin to wonder if I am good enough for our team. Of course, as long as the teams needs me I will always be here in some capacity. This team, the city and the culture are a part of me now. However, I won’t stand in the way of progress and I won’t take up space on this team if I can not carry them to greatness. I see goalies like Alexander Pepper @Sonnet who unarguably make their team better. It is a hard reality that instead of hoisting my team to greatness, I usually just don’t make things worse. Thoughts like these have been swimming around my head lately and they leave me with the question of what do you do when you are an aging middle of the pack goalie? Because one thing is sure, I have no damn clue.” Wahl seems to be taking the losses harder than his teammates who were seem out drinking and watching the first Malmo – Seattle game at a local Calgary Bar. While most of the team was in high spirits, Wahl who is usually the heart and soul of his team seemed to not really be present. All we can say for sure is something weird is up with that goalie. To add to it all, word has it he had asked the league to not invite him to the all-star game this season, which is his favorite VHL seasonal event (even if he does poorly). If Wahl does not attend the All-star game this will be the first one of his career he has missed. Honestly Calgary management better hope Wahl snaps out of this or they could be in trouble, nothing worse than a goalie with no heart.
