I think you read my every message as an attack at whoever I am writing It to. You talk to me like you are a hostage negotiator, tiptoeing around and preaching deescalation when I like yourself have just been stating my opinions. You have always had a gift at rephrasing what people have said and bending it to support your arguments. So don't try to twist my words, It is true that I respect Shawn for speaking out when i know it will be against what the admins and BOG would probably like. On this matter there are only probably 2 opinions that actually matter and they are Shawn's and Whoever forced him out. The rest of us are just noise or here for support one way or the other.

I'm not the one going around telling an upset member how to feel when they were forced out a position that they still wanted to be in. I don't think my opinion is law but when I see someone who I know is going to be going up against popular opinion I am not going to let they just stand there alone and go against the crowd. I respect the amount of courage it takes to speak out against those who are in positions of power and will always be there to support the people who have done the same for me. We are always on different sides Sonnet and that is not a bad thing, but do try to refrain from flipping my own phrases back at me as if you think that i believe I am an exception to my own logic.

As two members who have really never been on the wrong side of the VHL BOD, I'm going to remind you both that your experiences are not the only ones that happen on this site. In the end some of us will never subscribe to your way of thinking, and your opinions even if they are the popular ones are not law. so please don't try to tell Shawn what is best for him, or pretend that you all knowingly know that all this is for the best because you have absolutely no right to do so.

You can argue this to the moon and back and provide example on why it was not a wise decision but that does not mean is is your place to start judging Shawn. If there is one thing I know about it is feeling like you have been forced out of doing something you love. I have heard some rumors about what is it like in that GM chat. how toxic it can be towards certain GMs. How much of that shit is someone expected to take? If I was being treated like that, and not long ago I was, I would not want to be around all the time either.

No offense Eno, but it is not really anyone place to tell a GM how they should build... If someone wants to build buy auto drafting that is their choice. It does not make them inactive and it does not mean that they do not care about their team. Would I do it , nope, but Shawn is his own person and believe it or not his decisions do not have to met anyone's standards but his own.

I heard that in Calgary they say you are not part of the Calgary family until a Barabash says so, do you think you have made that select list. The Barabashs' @Bushito are Calgary Hockey legends. When I first came to Calgary I posted a picture on my social media with a caption saying “I’m already here, were are you and tagged Bash in it”. He replied “ How the hell did you get in, that LR was locked” to that I replied “I shutout others, I don’t get shutout ; ) “ I can say ever since that simple exchange I have felt I belong in Calgary. Only Bash could tell you what he things of me, but I would like to think that at the very least he enjoys the fire i have in my soul for the people abound me and his team. Who is your favorite Non-Wrangler? Most people would not expect this but I would say Finn Davison @Poptart. He is one of those goalies that worked hard and bided his time to really make a splash. He is not only a solid guy but a solid goalie as well. He consistently is friendly and kind during post game handshakes. I Know him well because we spent much of our vhlm career battling it out. Not sure If he feels the same about me with my sordid past but he is someone that I am always happy to see doing well and I am always happy to go have a few drinks with him after a game. You just said you think the Barabashs like you, if so why are there rumors about you being traded flying left right and center ? The only comment I will make is that whatever moves our GM makes are for the betterment of the franchise. If I am more valuable to the team somewhere else and I can help them build to wards better things by being elsewhere I will happily do that. If I move whoever gets me knows I am loyal and I will do my best to see them succeed as well.
