Wahl Disrupts The Cone of Silence With More Q &A Looks like Wahl got a little chatty only one question in this edition! What was the best moment of this season? Our team Thanksgiving dinner. Let me see if I can accurately describe what it is like seeing the Wranglers eat a turkey dinner together. First of all I do have to mention that @Bushito Stropko was the one who prepared the actual turkey, it was massive. I actually marveled at the sheer mass of meat that was on display at this damn dinner. I don’t know how he got that bugger in an oven, I believe he mentioned putting it is a smoker... the hell if i know how he actually got the damn thing cooked. I do however know one thing, It was damn delicious. Most of the guys contributed by bringing side dishes. I almost died when I saw @diamond_ace Kefka bring like 5 different types of potato’s because he was not sure which ones the "human puck passers" would like best. I myself brought an assortment of pies, handmade because your boy Brick can bake like a pro! The rest of the team brought the sided dishes (Vegetables and such ) and Fang @uphillmoss brought more cranberry sauce than I had ever seen in my life. That wasn’t enough apparently, because we don’t communicate that well as a team which coincidentally might be why we are losing, we all brought alcohol and various drinks yet somehow forgot to bring cups for those beverages. We eventually found some red cups in the back of @Jubis Jubis’ car, they might have looked sketchy but hey they worked! I think the best part of the night though was seeing the guys just chow down like a bunch of piranhas on a cow carcass. It was both grotesque and awe inspiring. I didn’t think we could polish off that much food, but we really did. The rest of the night gets a little sordid and is kind of a big Calgary secret so you’ll have to pry it out of one of my teammates if you can. -Brick Wahl out baby

@Jubis Thank you so much, Wahl has had what feels like a long career already but I know he (and I) are so happy about the young blood on Calgary. There is a lot of talent and could not be happier about the future with you guys leading the way. You are the Wranglers future and for sure are one of our unsung heros as well!

A Little Q and A with Brick Wahl. What is your best VHLM memory? Signing with the Las Vegas Aces, my GM was Jubo07 and he helped me learn the ropes. It was at that time one of his past goalies, Alexander Pepper @Sonnet, reached out to me and taught me everything I know about being a VHLM goalie and although I do not speak to him often (if at all anymore) I still remember his kindness in helping me get started. It makes me think of how lucky i was to get such good guidance in my early VHLM career. Looking back it is funny to see how much things have changed or as @Jubo07 would say “Pepperidge farm remembers” What originally made you want to be a Wrangler? The VHL was packed with young talented goalies when I was being drafted. Honestly of the few slots that were open I was lucky to land one where the GM put full his full faith in me and let me be a Starting Goalie. I have been a starter from the very beginning of my career and that is more than what I lot of goalies can say. There are always rumors about you leaving or retiring. If you love the Wranglers that much, why do you contemplate leaving? One word sums it up…Politics. I love the game, my team, our logo and branding. I also love the people I play with and can add that this season we brought in some exceptional talent. @Jubis and @enigmatic are a few of the amazing people I have met because I stuck with this team. These are the reasons that I remind myself of when things get rough and I want to throw in the towel. For better or worse it is people who make me both want to stay and leave the VHL and at the moment the scale is tipped toward the staying side, but it could tip the other way very easily and I don't pretend like it isn't a likely possibility.

Brick Wahl Dealing with Addiction Sources In Calgary say they were shocked when they heard the news. Veteran goaltender Brick Wahl of the Calgary Wranglers has been struggling and his teammates say there is a clear explanation as to why his performance is lack lustre. “He has an addiction” said feisty Wrangler’s back-up Fang Flashback @uphillmoss. “He obviously cares about the team, but I mean his priorities have changed. He is a goalie who has been on a struggling team his whole career. I think that would warrant picking up a few bad habits, but I think this season it got out of control.” When asked why that would be Fang replied “ Because we were projected to be better and Brick himself has never been in better shape. I think he looks at his stats and he is disappointed that after all that hype, nothing had changed. So he figured why not indulge himself… Once became twice and you know how it goes. At this point I am surprised the big guy can even tie his skates to get on the ice, it is really sad to see him like this." No one seems to be saying what Wahl's addiction is, so I got right to it and asked Flashback hoping he would give us all an answer. "I thought it would be obvious the poor guy is addicted to Cinnamon Buns @omgitshim, particularly the ones from Prague." I wonder after that answer if this all isn't an elaborate prank that the Wranglers' concocted to deal with the boredom of losing. Let’s hope these mischief makers get some wins soon!

It's probably the best Sig I have made on the VHL, I'll argue to my last breath that it was made with an intent of humor and if you are getting overly sexual vibes well maybe that is because you have an overtly sexual mind.
