Yeah as a GM at the time I agree with the lol here. It doesn't take much speculation for certain dots to be connected.

A loophole which, objectively speaking, may or may not have been purposely exploited has since been closed.

For sure, I can think of a few instances where drama has taken people who would otherwise be great to deal with and steered them toward lashing out at people who don't deserve it or just being toxic in general. In my opinion early Philly was probably the most egregious example of this but I can think of others that I won't get into. The victim mentality has always been a thing and always will be but it wasn't fun to apparently see it encouraged in this case.
