The Ottawa Lynx is the undisputed best VHLM Team of the season. The problem with that is we are now in the playoffs. In professional sports, a team has to start over in the post-season and earn the title. The Season 71 VHLM Playoffs started just like the regular season. Ottawa swept Halifax in 4 games, no problem. Round two against San Diego is proving to be more challenging. The series is tied two apiece after four. On paper, the Lynx could have swept San Diego already. Ottawa has outshot San Diego in all four games, has had far fewer penalties, and outscored them by a score of 21-12. The problem is Ottawa hasn't been converting on the powerplay and have lost two close one-goal games. The Lynx are alternating between scoring eight goals and dominating or scoring a few and losing. Experts predict a Lynx victory, but we are down to a best of three series now, and it could go either way

Few know the name, but it is gaining some recognition. Defenz Mann is a Season 72 Draftee selected into the minors by the Ottawa Lynx. His first season with the Lynx has been fantastic. In 72 games this season, Mann put up 109 points and a rating of +113. His 87 assists rank fifth in the league, and he is also fifth in points for a defenseman. Mann joined Team Asia for the just-finished World Junior Cup. Team Asia finished second getting the silver medal, and Mann faced his first taste of VHL talent. Mann is used to skating against players, many of which will never make it to the pros. In the junior cup, he faced players who are already performing at a high level in the VHL. In 8 games, Mann recorded a fair seven points with a minus 1 rating. Mann will need to keep up the hard work if he intends to one day leave his mark at the pro level.

This is frustrating it happened in the other games but to a lesser extent. Obviously we have a few people lying but we have enough town where this shouldn't be a problem if people are active. I might just go get the actual game if I want to play moving forward and skip this ?
