Frozen Sanitizer The Season 71 trade deadline is upon us already. You wouldn't think the world is falling apart with a global pandemic based on the continued games in the VHL. While every other professional sport is on lockdown, the VHL persists with little change up until now. It appears after months of deaths, and millions of infected, the VHL is finally taking steps. All games moving forward will be using a new hybrid sanitizer ice blend. We have no idea how this will affect the puck movement and therefore scoring around the league. The ice will be a 70-30 blend of highly effective alcohol-based disinfecting sanitizer and a unique water solution allowing the alcohol to freeze at an average temperature. All skaters will be required to wear N95 masks as well as keep safe social distancing. No checking will be allowed for the foreseeable future.
