  1. I didnt know I was that good
  2. I can't do time zones in my head but when I pull out a handy dandy calculator I can figure it out usually. CST is 1 hour behind EST When its 7PM CST I pull open my calculator add 7 + 1 and when it tells me 8 I know 7 PM CST = 8 PM EST. When I have to convert to EST from MST or PST all shit hits the fan b/c then I have to add more than 1 and its just a simple calculator not a fucking super computer.
  3. Once I put Rig G back in for the playoffs Dynamo wont stand a chance.
  4. If Waldron is by far the best prospect still available at that point theres no harm taking him especially if he has to spend another season in the minors. It gives them time to find a home and other teams time to see how active he really is.
  5. I apologize for this season Riga probably had the cap space to bring him on too.

  9. Season 38 Entry Draft Pick Order Based on Current Standings 1st Overall Calgary - D - Vojczek Svoboda The Calgary Wranglers are fortunate enough to know who their future netminder is. Martin Brookside has all of the typical skills and potential that you look to carry a team. The Wranglers also have a potential forward and defensive prospect in Travis Boychuk and Jack Ryan. However after those three prospects the cupboards are completely bare they can go any position here and get great gains. With Ryan potentially needing yet another season in the minors and no guarantee he ever does make the VHL I think Calgary goes with Vojczek Svoboda first overall. He is currently the best prospect in the draft. Matching him up with the promising goalie in Brookside will lay the backend foundation of this team. Svoboda's player agent "Slobo" also has many ties to Calgary making this a great fit. 2nd Overall Helsinki - W - Ashton Galbraith The Helsinki Titans are in a bit better shape than the Calgary Wranglers. The teams do have similarities though. Both appear to have their franchise goalie (Kimmo Salo for Helsinki) and both have a few pieces already though Helsinki is a tad further along. New GM "STZ" has inherited three long defensive prospects in Kyrie Knight, Tyler Owens, and Jake Wylde. Expect Helsinki to take Ashton Galbraith here second overall because he comes with less baggage. Bruno Wolf could become the clear #2 by draft day though and be hard to pass up. Galbraith is a typical balanced forward who can play both ends of the ice. His current weakness sits with his lack of physicality but in the VHL that can often be hidden by pure talent elsewhere. 3rd Overall Cologne - F - Bruno Wolf The Cologne Express have already have a near infinite supply of prospects in the minor and VHL level. They will add to that with a nearly infinite number of picks over the next two drafts making their team an unstopping freight train of players. This allows Cologne to always take the best player available regardless of positional need since they likely wont have any specific needs. With the second pick currently being a coin flip between Ashton Galbraith and Bruno Wolf. Cologne will be happy to take whoever is sitting here when they are up to draft. Like Galbraith, Wolf is a balanced forward with the exception of the added physicality. Wolf currently isn't quite as gifted all around but provides a more physical element to his game. 4th Overall Helsinki (via Seattle) - D - Don Draper Come draft day Don Draper could go as high as second with the recent burst of effort we have seen from this prospect. If Helsinki didn't already have so many defensive prospects he might be the clear #2 overall pick. We can't say enough great things about him but Draper represents the future of the VHL. Ideally for Helsinki if they feel confident in their current defensive core they could run into a scenario where Draper goes to Cologne third. That would allow the team to draft both forwards Wolf and Galbraith at #2/#4. This will be an interesting draft day scenario to follow. 5th Overall Helsinki (via New York) - W - Chris Raymond I don't think Chris will be the best player available at the fifth pick but I don't think Helsinki will want another D-man at this point. If they get the two forwards earlier with Draper going to Cologne then Helsinki will take Dimothenis Vlasis here. However Helsinki won't want to take both Draper and Vlasis. Raymond has a history in the VHL with player agent "Kachur" but not always the best long term history. The VHL welfare system should make a player like Chris Raymond a good long term prospect to balance out the first line or help lead the second. 6th Overall Cologne (via Vasteras) - D - Dimothenis Vlasis 7th Overall Cologne (via Toronto) - G - Brock Waldron 8th Overall Cologne (via Riga) - F - Leo Tesla As the standings sit now Cologne will have three first round picks in a row at the middle of the round. I expect Vlasis to be an overlooked prospect who goes sixth overall but could go higher. I just don't see the need for Helsinki. Vlasis is a player to really look out for he has gone under the radar so far. Cologne will be able to use one of these picks on a potential franchise goalie in Brock Waldron. That gives the team some insurance if they do decide to go a different route down the road. Leo Tesla is from the Roberto Martucci Organization which started out real well. Roberto blasted into the league before stepping down hopefully Tesla can have the same early career impact but last longer. 9th Overall Meute - F - Steve Tremblay Tremblay is a relatively newer addition to the draft and has shot up on the board as people start to learn more about him. He comes from a well known former VHLer Guillaume Latendresse who is very famous for his early VHL success (S1-S3 area). He is a great example of another player who can shine under the VHL welfare system. If the flame of success has been rekindled into this player he could go mid first round and should he fall later still have a great VHL career. 10th Overall Cologne (via Davos) - F - Seth Rollins Near the end of the first we see prospects that come from no where over the final weeks to crack the first round. Currently Jblaze aka Seth Rollins fits the bill as someone who could become a VHLer someday and has shown the activity recently to warrant a late first. He is a raw prospect with questionable off the ice antics but Cologne will have a very active Locker-room that could pull a borderline player into a VHLer that would have fizzled on another team.
