1) It's over. A heartbreaking loss in the finals. What was your reaction to game 5? Made it super far this season. Only one other team can say they made it to the finals. So we should look at it as a positive rather than dwell on it. Plus they beat us fairly quickly. Hard to say they weren’t the better team. 2) Malmo has defeated Seattle in 6 games to claim the Continental Cup, did you see this coming? I’ve made it known before that I’m a proud supporter of the Bears. I wanted them to win again, but at the end of the day Malmo was the better team. There’s always next season. 3) What are your plans for S80? I’m most likely going to need a season to earn TPE before I hopefully make the jump to the VHL. So it would seem that I’m VHLE bound. 4) Do you prefer to write articles, design graphics, record podcasts, or claim welfare? Usually welfare, but every now and then I make a few graphics to last me a month or two. 5) What VHLE team do you hope to be drafted by? (If you aren't in the draft, answer with your favorite team) I honestly don’t even know the teams. Hopefully one that has a super active LR. 6) How long will it take for Mississauga to be a contender again? From the short look I had the other day, the Hounds are essentially getting a facelift. I’m pretty sure there were only a couple players returning. I don’t know what the draft pick situation looks like, but maybe a couple more seasons and the boys will be buzzing again.

Now that the postseason has come to an end and the Malmo Nighthawks are officially the S79 Continental Cup Champions, the draft will soon be upon us. It is time for the prospects to potentially secure a higher draft position and make a strong impression with general managers across the league. The unfortunate truth is that not all draft picks pan out for reasons such as inactivity, poor player builds, locker room chemistry, etc. With that being said, I understand the difficulties of being a manager. Especially during a busy offseason when they have to make decisions that could impact the team for several seasons. Knowing this, I've decided to provide some clarity on how I expect Florida Man's career to go. There have been issues with motivation every now and then. With my previous player, I found myself drafted third overall. Even though Odin went on to win three cups with the Bears, you could argue I was completely carried. Overall, there were only three or four seasons that you could say were truly worth a pick that high. Fairly underwhelming considering the Bears have been a scoring machine. You get the point, I'm inactive from time to time and I don't want a GM to waste a high pick on silly old me when they can look for someone that might not only claim welfare and practice facility with an occasional spree of max earning. A major part of what keeps me involved is locker room chemistry. I will be transparent regarding how I feel within the LR. I do intend to earn as much as I can from now on, but let this act as a heads up for you GMs out there. Good luck in the draft.

1. NEW GM! Mr. N0HBDY has replaced Z as GM, as Z is leaving us to AGM Bratislava. What are your thoughts on the change? I don't know him that well, but I hope he can keep the Hounds going in the right direction. 2. In your opinion, how do you see round 2 going for us? It's going to be tough, but I am confident we can win every matchup. 3. Is your player growing out their playoff beard? Mine is the biggest. It's not even a debate. 4. How would you rate your experience as a whole with the Hounds, from the moment you got here to this moment? I didn't intend to be that active this season, but for a while it felt like I was kinda forgotten about. Now that playoffs have started up I'm doing my best to be involved regardless of how much ice time I get. 5. Who do you see as the C next season? I'm not sure who will still be around. Maybe Russel Dixon or Andrew Whitemore if not a new addition. 6. How do you expect to perform under the new GM? I may not be around next season, but hopefully I take a step forward because this season was kinda frustrating. Especially if we don't win the cup.

1. With a few games left in the season, how do you think your player fared this year? Not too shabby. I didn't expect too much for this first season, but I intend to be more impactful next time around. 2. What is one thing in the off season you would like to focus on?? Offense because who doesn't like goals? 3. Would you ever be interested in management roles in the future? Probably not. I tried my hand at it, it's not for me. 4. If given the opportunity would you like Miami to draft you or retain you next season? I wouldn't mind at all! Florida Man should be in Florida! 5. What is your favorite summer activity?! Anything that can keep me inside and out of the heat. Jokes aside I go on a week long vacation with a few buddies once a year that I look forward to for the other 358 days. 6. Do you play video games? If so what is your favorite?! I'm usually pretty cyclical with what games I play. I'll play NHL, Madden, then the Show, and so on. My all-time favorite is Halo: Reach. I grew up playing Halo, but my best years were when Reach was out.

I found myself sitting on my couch wondering what I'm gonna do with myself for the next thirty minutes. Then I came up with this brilliant idea that I'm going to look into just how I became the "quickest earner in my draft class." At least that was the case until I eventually went inactive-ish. Anyways, here are some seriously interesting fun facts that you should definitely read: Odin Omdahl was created the week of October 20, 2019. Roughly 36 weeks before my activity regressed on the week of June 28, 2020. Over the course of that 36 week period, my average TPE per week was 19.97 for a total of 719. About 65% of the TPE in only 43% of his career. - Out of the 36 weeks, I capped out or earned at least the typical 13-14 TPE 30 times - Of those 30 weeks, I earned 16 or more 19 times - Of those 19 weeks, I earned 20 or more 13 times - Won TPE lottery twice (not luck just skill) - Claimed welfare only 3 times - Failed to claim practice facility 1 time (how??? lol I literally lived on the portal) Omdahl retired on May 16, 2021. 46 weeks after the dip in activity. Obviously the remaining 385 TPE was during this time. Good enough for hardly 35% of the TPE, or 8.37 per week. - Out of the 46 weeks, I claimed welfare 28 times, literally 9x more than the first 36 weeks - Failed to claim practice facility 11 times - Claimed practice facility but not welfare 9 times - Failed to claim practice facility and welfare just one time, and claiming literally nothing 4 times In the end, I'd say the story of Odin's career was the inactivity. It got off to a generally slow start, but with back to back 87 point seasons you could pretty much guarantee the production was gonna go down after depreciation hit the first time. I did what I could to keep him competitive in the end, eventually finding a nice support role build on that ridiculous playoff team we had last season, but you can only wonder what type of player he would've been had I continued earning as much as I had in the past.

I doubt we're winning the rest of our games lol. SAD Florida Man won't be in Florida
