@Enorama I’d like to ignore the Jerome Reinhart pick and get forwards Vinny Detroit + Zeedayno Chara instead.

Hmm very interesting piece! I kinda like what you have done with the render and all the background work. The background gives me this intergalactic space travel vibe, but the render work itself reminds me of ice-man or whatever the villain from Batman is. All together seems a bit neon-ish so a lot of perspectives for this specific work. As you already mentioned yourself then you had issues with the text. Cannot say that the text is bad, not at all, but ye, text is an issue most of the times. Although the piece is busy, I kinda would like to see the background filled up a little bit more and not have that much of the black blank space around.

    Rating: 8/10

Review: I love this. Great player render choice and the effect looks cool as hell. Love the choice to keep it two colours as it really keeps it simple. Sometimes, simple works well. The blue looks so nice and it such a nice shade. I love the glowing effect it has with the black background. The idea for the text is great and the overall composition is great. IN terms of feedback, I am sort of not a fan of how the effect affects the face of the player render. It is a great render and a great pose but the face just looks off. These next ones are more suggestions rather than critiques as I like how the graphic stands alone. Maybe experiment with having the player render positioned in the left and the font in the corner, allowing for a neat imbalance in the composition. Also, maybe change the font for Florida and keep it opaque. 8/10, looks great!

    VHLE Power Rankings Introduction

Hello everyone and welcome to the VHLE S83 Pre-Season Power Rankings! I'll be trying to do these every week, or every other week. The first Power Rankings is going to be purely stats based. I mainly took all the averages of the stats, did some calculations, and this is what I ended up coming up with. I'll be going over every team in the VHLE this week and where I think their strengths/weaknesses are, and a couple key players for each of the teams. I'm going to explain how I got some of the calculations first before I end up starting the rankings, so please read below:

Overall Offense Rating: The Overall Offense Rating was calculated taking the "SCO" and "PAS" attributes of every single player on the roster. First, I ended up taking the "SCO" attribute of every player, added them up, and averaged the number. I did the exact same for the "PAS" attribute. I then averaged the two together, and that's how I got the Overall Offense Rating! (SCO OF EVERY PLAYER)/(NUMBER OF PLAYERS) and (PAS OF EVERY PLAYER)/(NUMBER OF PLAYERS). Then (ANS FOR FORMULA 1 + ANS FOR FORMULA 2)/(2).
Overall Defense Rating: The Overall Defense Rating was calculated taking the "DEF" attribute of every single player on the roster. I just ended up taking the "DEF" attribute of every player, added them up, and averaged the number. Since there was only one attribute I took into account, I didn't need to add them together and divide to find the average! (DEF OF EVERY PLAYER)/(NUMBER OF PLAYERS).
Overall Goaltending Rating: The Overall Goaltending Rating was calculated taking the "SZ", "AG", "RB", "SC", "HS", and "RT" attribute of every single goalie on the roster. I could go through on every single attribute how I got them, but I basically just added the averages of the one/two goalies, then added the averages of the ratings together and divided it by the number of attributes, which in this case was 6! That is how I ended up getting the Overall Goaltending Rating! This takes too long to explain, but basically the Overall Offense Rating formula, but for "SZ, AG, RB, SC, HS, RT" and then the answers of those dividing by the number of attributes, which is 6 to get the answer.

If you need a better explanation, as I'm not the best at explaining things, let me know.

Let's finally get to the VHLE Power Rankings, shall we?

    1. Vasteras Iron Eagles

    Overall Offense Rating: 61.35 (1st)
    Overall Defense Rating: 68.5 (1st)
    Overall Goaltending Rating: 73.5 (1st)

Alright, on paper and with the calculations and everything, this team is absolutely stacked. You'd hope the team that had a ton of picks in this draft would be one of the best teams going into the season, and well, they lead every single category. Leading the charge at the forward position is going to be @Grape, joined by @eagle_3450 and @leandrofg who should have fantastic seasons in the E as well. This team has a ton of talent on the offensive front, having a score first mentality and I could see multiple members putting up high goal numbers. As for the defensive side, this team seems to have more defensive defenseman, focusing on protecting the net instead of joining the rush. It's tough to say who will be the leader defensively, as every single one of their defenseman is around the same skill level, but @Spence King has the best defense on the team, at a whopping 80. He'll be backstopping a tough defensive team that'll be hard to enter their zone defensively, and honestly the best defensive core in the league. In between the pipes, they have @Lilpfigher who will be looking to lead this team to success. This team has fantastic goaltending overall and they've got a clear starter and backup. Personally, I expect this team to be a top three team and anything less from this team would be an absolute disaster of a season.

    2. Stockholm Vikings

    Overall Offense Rating: 58.09 (2nd)
    Overall Defense Rating: 59.18 (3rd)
    Overall Goaltending Rating: 73.25 (T-2nd)

Up next on the rankings coming in second place is going to be the Stockholm Vikings. Stockholm has the best scorers in the league, despite their offense rating coming in second. This team is loaded with deadly snipers that given an opportunity, will find the back of the net. Leading the offensive powerhouse is @FBR who is coming off of a 27 goal season, with 79 points. He has a ton of talent joining him, and I can't list them all, as this forward core is absolutely loaded and can give Vasteras a run for their money. On the back-end defensively, and honestly in my eyes, one of the best defenseman in the league is @LuluSalesAway. This player has high defensive capabilities and also can join the rush, a perfect two-way defenseman that the Stockholm Vikings need to help power their offense minded team. In the crease, this team has two solid goalies, @Joker_TM and @Tendy who they'll have to decide which one will be their starter and which one will be their backup. Regardless, having competition is a good thing and Stockholm Vikings should be vying for the top of the league at the end of the season!

    3. Istanbul Red Wolves

    Overall Offense Rating: 56.44 (5th)
    Overall Defense Rating: 60.8 (2nd)
    Overall Goaltending Rating: 70 (7th)

Slotting in the third place spot on the rankings is the Istanbul Red Wolves. It's honestly tough, because the top two teams in my eyes are very far ahead of the pack that it's tough to say who is going to come into third place. Regardless, I'm going to go with the Istanbul Red Wolves. On the offensive front, this team is led by @LeBron Jamezz. Last season, he put up 31 goals and 67 points, having an exceptional season for the Red Wolves. This team also had a ton of picks in the recent draft, and are adding players like @Brandon and @jacobcarson877 on offensive front who should help the team tremendously. Also, one thing I want to point out is @jacobcarson877 build, in which he has 80 defense! He'll be a key piece to the team defensively, which helps me pivot into the next talking point for the team, defense! This team is absolutely loaded defensively, having the second best defense rating in the entire VHLE. The funny thing is, yes, most of the defenseman on this team are somewhat defensively focused, but the forwards are helping out the team defensively too. One player I want to talk about is @der meister, who was drafted 3rd overall and will be helping to protect the net this season. He's a fantastic addition to the team, and it's going to be very hard to find ways to score on this team. Last up, we have the goaltending for Istanbul. You might be thinking, wow, this team is ranked 7th at goaltending, they must not have good goaltending! Let me stop you there. The difference between 1st and 7th on the rating scale is only an average of 3.5 higher in each stat, so even though they are ranked 7th, there are a lot of teams very close in the ratings for goalies. @npuBeT will be the starter this season for the Red Wolves and he'll do a lot of the heavy lifting, as the Wolves will need solid goaltending to be able to go on a run this season. Regardless, this team should be a playoff team and anything less then that is a failure.

    4. Bratislava Watchmen

    Overall Offense Rating: 57.77 (3rd)
    Overall Defense Rating: 59 (4th)
    Overall Goaltending Rating: 70.25 (6th)

Coming in at fourth on the rankings is the Bratislava Watchmen. I honestly could see this team being flip-flopped with the Istanbul Red Wolves, as I think this team is a little bit more well rounded then the Wolves, but the Wolves are more specialized in defense. Moving on though, Bratislava is no slacker when it comes to scoring, as they have multiple players who can put the puck into the back of the net. The best person to do so on this roster is @ng1291, who will be having his rookie season with the Watchmen, so all eyes are going to be on him. He'll also have @Dtayl helping him out, feeding him the puck all day, so we'll see what @ng1291 will be able to achieve this season with the Watchmen. Moving onto defense, this team is around average defensively, however they did pick up @BOOM, who is an absolute steal for the Watchmen in the draft. He was the leading scorer defensively in the VHLM last season, and he'll be looking to continue his dominance here in the E for a season. I think @BOOM is going to be one of the best defenseman in the league offensively, and he'll be helping to aid the team by putting the puck into the back of the net. Last, we have goaltending, which for sure is going to be led by @Donno100. The problem that arises with me for this team, is that their backup is in my eyes, a little bit below average skill wise, so I think @Donno100 is going to do a lot of the heavy lifting for the team. Honestly, I can see this team sliding into the top four very easily and I think a potential run in the playoffs as a dark horse is a very realistic possibility.

    5. Cologne Express

    Overall Offense Rating: 54.47 (7th)
    Overall Defense Rating: 58.78 (5th)
    Overall Goaltending Rating: 70.17 (5th)

Up next on the list, coming in at fifth is the Cologne Express. Honestly, this team seems like a pretty solid middle of the pack team. I feel like to be considered a potential contender this season, you're going to have to take down the Cologne Express, otherwise they'll gatekeep you from doing so. Offensively, this team is a bit lacking though according to the rating system. They have some solid superstar players, in @Johnny_HX and @Komaryk. I will say that personally, I think the rating system does this team dirty, because they have a ton of solid players offensively, and despite being ranked 7th, I feel like their offense is much better then it actually shows. The forwards for this team are fairly good, and they have solid depth, so I really personally don't think the rating offensively is correct for this team. Defensively, I feel like this team has some solid options too. Led by @ColeMrtz, the defensive core this team has put together is pretty solid. One thing I might think that is influence the offense rating, is the fact that this teams defensive core is extremely defensive minded, and they don't have much offense upside. Last, in between the pipes for this team is @Jericho who will be a solid starter, and @NickSunderbruch backing him up. I think this team has a great starter and backup, and in my eyes, this team is extremely underrated in the ratings. I could very well see this team potentially making a run in the playoffs honestly, despite their ratings being a little lower then most teams.

    6. Geneva Rush

    Overall Offense Rating: 57 (4th)
    Overall Defense Rating: 54.3 (7th)
    Overall Goaltending Rating: 73.25 (T-2nd)

Coming in at sixth on the rankings is the Geneva Rush. This team is down lower on the list for a reason, that I'll get to in a bit. First up, we have is the offense, which is sitting ranked at fourth in the league, around average. However, the more I look at this team offensively, it seems they really only have @PoignardLeclerc11 leading the charge, and they seriously lack some firepower in the league. This team has offensive depth, don't get me wrong, but they are lacking some firepower that I personally think will be the reason why they slide a bit further down in the rankings, but this isn't really the teams biggest problem, that's what I'm going to talk about next. Next up, is the teams defense, which is going to be their Achilles heel. This team doesn't have a superstar defenseman, and defensively, a lot of their defenseman have opted for more offensively minded builds, which is why their offense is rated higher. The best defensive minded defenseman they have is @Strider, who is going to have to do a lot of heavy lifting for the team defensively, as teams will find scoring opportunities against the Rush. This team will score a lot of goals, but they're also going to let in a lot of goals. Last, the teams shining bright spot is their goaltending. This team despite having not the best defensive core still has exceptional goalies backstopping them. With probably the best 1A-1B duo in the league, @dustywilson22 and @Thunderidge will be looking to split time this season and attempt to try to carry this team to a potential playoff spot. In my eyes, I don't see this team being a contender, or doing too much this season, but I still think there is a small possibility they make playoffs and make some noise!

    7. Rome Gladiators

    Overall Offense Rating: 55.07 (6th)
    Overall Defense Rating: 52 (8th)
    Overall Goaltending Rating: 70.33 (4th)

Up next on the list is the Rome Gladiators, who slide into seventh place on the rankings. The reason these two teams are at the bottom, Rome Gladiators and Oslo Storm is because they are lacking complete rosters. I ended up not factoring in the bot's attributes in the rating system, otherwise Rome and Oslo would most likely be 7th/8th in every single rating. Regardless, Rome comes in with a very young lineup into the VHLE this season, and I fully expect them to be rebuilding. Offensively, they have a bunch of players who did great in the VHLM, names like @chikn and @NJDevils24. The biggest concern I have with this team offensively, is that they really lack any star player and while they have some depth, they really can't compete with some of the top teams at all and will get out played almost every night. Defensively, this team literally only currently has one rostered defenseman, that being @youloser1337. I guess there's nothing else to talk about on the defensive front, as they only have one defenseman! The best part about this team is their goalie, but again, they currently only have a single goalie on their roster, that being @G_Rush. We'll see what this team has planned for this season and if they can attempt to fill roster spots, but in my eyes this team is going to be at the bottom of the league and will not make it into the playoffs.

    8. Oslo Storm

    Overall Offense Rating: 52.9 (8th)
    Overall Defense Rating: 54.6 (6th)
    Overall Goaltending Rating: 66.67 (8th)

Sadly, someone has to sit at the bottom of the rankings, and coming in at eighth place is the Oslo Storm. Just like the Gladiators, this team doesn't have a full roster, and I must remind you that I didn't factor in the bot's attributes into the rating system. Let's talk about the team that they do have though! Offensively, this team has only four players, one of them being @Crstats23 who is going to be having to produce an absolute godlike season if this team wants to win any games. Again, this team has a couple okay depth players, but they're going to get ran over by almost any team in the league due to not having enough players and having to have bots fill the spaces. Defensively, this team has a singular defenseman in @Thunder, who will be their best defenseman this season without a doubt! I seriously feel bad for some of these players, as they're not going to have a great time this season and unfortunately, they'll just have to try and get through it. In net, they have a singular goalie, that being @InstantRockstar, who actually isn't rated that poorly. He'll have to pull out some Carey Price-like performances if the team wants to be able to find some wins this season. At the end of the day, this team will not be aiming for a playoff spot and I could see them trying to rebuild and attempt to put together a better team next season.

That'll be all folks! I put a ton of time into this and it took me multiple hours to produce this for you guys. I hope this brings some hype to the VHLE season, as I feel like there isn't enough VHLE content out there. Also, before I end this off, just remember that I am a first gen and I don't know much about the history of some of the players or organizations in the VHLE. I am going purely based off of TP and players I've interacted with around the community, so please keep that in mind. Thanks and I hope you guys enjoyed this article!

zepheter reacted to dylanjj37 in WHERE IS SHINDIGS
One day, Juan Ceson woke up and he knew something was wrong. He woke up just in time for practice but he knew there was a bigger problem and he could not go to practice until it had been resolved. His GM, Shindigs, was missing. He did not know where Shindigs was but he had not replied to any of the messages that Juan Ceson had sent him the night before and he had sent a lot of messages so Shindigs surely would have seen them and Shindigs also didn't reply to any of the calls he made or any of the voice messages he had left for Shindigs. It was very worrying because surely Shindigs was awake by now. He had to be because no one woke up as late as Juan Ceson.
Juan Ceson decided he needed to get everyone he knew to try and help him find Shindigs because clearly something very very bad was happening. First, he asked his good friend Blake MacTavish but Blake just said that Shindigs was probably still sleeping which was definitely not true because everyone was awake so Blake was no help at all.
Next he received a message from Henri le Massif saying that Shindigs was in Sweden which is really stupid because why would Shindigs be in Sweden when he is supposed to be GMing the team in Las Vegas? It didn't make any sense and Juan also didnt know who Henri le Massif was so he just decided it was a prank message and ignored it.
Finally, he tried everyone else he knew but it seemed like nobody else cared about Shindigs as much as Juan Ceson did because nobody wanted to help him which was very mean because Shindigs could be dead in a ditch somewhere and they don't care.
Juan Ceson by now had missed practice completely but he also hadn't found Shindigs so he drove to Shindigs' house and let himself in using the spare key and searched all round the house but Shindigs wasn't there and he wasn't hiding in the wardrobes like he knew Shindigs loved doing so he took Shindigs' meatballs with him for safe keeping until Shindigs was found (and also as a snack).
He drove everywhere round Las Vegas and went to every single casino that he was allowed to go to to see if Shindigs was in there but he couldn't find Shindigs anywhere and he even visited Ikea and checked all the wardrobes there but he still couldn't find Shindigs anywhere.
At this point Juan Ceson knew something terrible must have happened to Shindigs as he was nowhere that Juan Ceson could think he could be possibly be. This meant that AGM Eagle was know GM so Juan bought him some meatballs from the Ikea store and also some balloons from a different store and went to tell him the great news about his promotion. Eagle was going to be very excited when he found out. One question remains though - what has happened to Shindigs and will he ever be found?

Reviewing. Great job on this graphic. The player render you chose is nice and clean. The player jersey swap and logo swap are really well done and I like what you did with the background. I like the city image in the background shape as well. The text you chose is simple but works well with the graphic overall. Cool to see something that is not a standard shape. Well done and good luck to Florida Man in Helsinki. Scoring a 9/10.

    Review:
This is an awesome graphic and there is a ton of stuff to like about it. First off, I love that its not an entirely filled out background and that it's kinda like a wavy or cloud shaped backdrop. This eliminates the need to fill out a lot of the empty space that would have existed, and it's a clever way to get around that issue. Instead, you have a nice simplistic graphic but it doesn't feel devoid of anything. The blue filter over top of the city landscape looks great. The font for Florida Man is well placed, stands out great and is easy to read. And finally, the render is nice and crisp and in the forefront and the logo swap on the jersey is beautifully done. In a league that's been littered with a lot of low-end graphics in recent memory, this is a nice and simple, yet very esthetically pleasing image. Great job! 9/10

This is a pretty cool looking graphic. Nice cut boarder and I love the blue recolor of the city. You did one of the things I like to see on other graphics, you got rid of any NHL branding, good job. I have worked with this render before and I would say you did a good job with facial detail. Logo swap looks a bit flat but works just fine. Maybe warp it a bit and mess with the opacity. Overall, a really fun graphic to look at. Oh, I wish the text fit inside the background cut better.

    1. Tell me one good reason why Erlantz Jokinen should pass the puck to you?
A Florida Man doesn't ask for the puck he demands it.

    2. I just blocked a shot and I'm taking my time getting to the bench, am I faking it or am I really hurt?
I say half faking it, half feeling it.

    3. Who is going to score the most goals for Helsinki next season?
With the new attributes I'm not sure how it will play out. Maybe Ori or Pearce.

    4. Who is the toughest and meanest player in the Titans roster?
Probably Nano. Tons of hits and PIMs.

    5. I want to score a goal against Booberry in the practice, what is his weakness?
No clue since I'm new here. Nothing against Booberry, but my shot is wicked. Expect most to go in regardless of where I shoot. 👀

    6. If you would have to select a goal song for your player - what would you pick?
Gotta go with police sirens. They fuel me to focus in on the most crucial aspects of being a Florida Man. Living on the run and never giving up.

Coming off of an incredible playoff run with Houston which saw Sundin score 11 goals and 20 assists in 19 games for 31 points. Sundin also has a physical side to his game that often goes unnoticed as they recorded 30 hits throughout the playoffs. This draft pick would set Chicago up really well with their only notable gaps remaining with depth pieces and a goalie and once those are in place we should see the start of a new era of Chicago dominance.                                             2 VANCOUVER WOLVES     Brandt Fuhr @Tate                         G TPE: 374                                     SEASON GP W L OTL SV% GAA SO GA SA     Season 82 - Regular Season 47 29 18 0 0.905 3.15 3 150 1575     Season 81 - Regular Season 5 0 5 0 0.883 5.55 0 25 213     Season 82 - Playoffs 11 7 3 1 0.907 3.43 0 40 429                             With the retirement of Thadius Sales, the Vancouver Wolves are left without a solid starting goalie. Molotov is the type of forward that you can build a team around and that is exactly what Malmo will do.                                             4 HC DAVOS DYNAMO     Siyan Yasilievich @badcolethetitan                         D TPE: 276                                     SEASON GP G A PTS (+/-) SHT PIM HITS SB     Season 82 - Regular Season 72 15 81 96 28 121 46 84 86     Season 81 - Regular Season 10 0 1 1 -6 1 4 8 4     Season 82 - Playoffs 13 1 14 15 4 14 10 10 23     Season 81 - Playoffs 12 0 2 2 -2 3 16 16 7     Davos is coming off of a tough season and with this pick they will look to shore up their future top defensive pair. Siyan Yasilievich will slot in perfectly next to James Teekirque on Davos's blue line after 1 season in the VHLE. Yasilievich is coming off a spectacular season for the Philadelphia Reapers which saw them record 81 assists, enough to tie for the league lead.                                             5 NEW YORK AMERICANS     AirRig GoodBrandSun @Rhynex Entertainment                         D TPE: 358                                     SEASON GP G A PTS (+/-) SHT PIM HITS SB     Season 82 - Regular Season 72 26 68 94 65 243 126 224 118     Season 81 - Regular Season 18 3 5 8 1 17 20 31 22     Season 82 - Playoffs 19 10 12 22 5 59 50 56 15     Season 81 - Playoffs 16 2 4 6 3 21 28 32 27     After drafting DeGroot last season and trading them, New York will likely take one of the top defensemen in the draft and GoodBrandSun fits the bill perfectly for what the Americans need. Last season GoodBrandSun was one of the main reasons for Houston's cup run as they recorded 10 goals, and 12 assists for 22 points in 19 games. Expect to see them in the VHL this season as they will likely slot straight into New York's top pair.                                             6 HELSINKI TITANS     Hammar Voss @BOOM                         D TPE: 360                                     SEASON GP G A PTS (+/-) SHT PIM HITS SB     Season 82 - Regular Season 72 45 76 121 66 347 36 82 111     Season 81 - Regular Season 11 2 2 4 -7 3 16 20 7     Season 82 - Playoffs 19 9 21 30 6 90 8 14 40                             Last season Hammar Voss completely tore up the VHLM as a defensemen and is the highest scoring defensemen in the VHLM since Hulk Hogan 2. Last season they had 45 goals, and 76 assists for a total of 121 points for the Houston Bulls. With Helsinki they would help the blue line out for the foreseeable future. Should Helsinki draft Voss, they would likely have to spend next season in the VHLE due to the salary cap, barring a trade.                                             7 TORONTO LEGION     Ryuji Sakamoto @der meister                         D TPE: 331                                     SEASON GP G A PTS (+/-) SHT PIM HITS SB     Season 82 - Regular Season 72 16 63 79 -17 187 144 266 227     Season 81 - Regular Season 16 4 6 10 -3 27 12 18 25     Season 82 - Playoffs 11 1 9 10 11 24 36 49 20                             With Toronto going all-in this season, I would be surprised if they hold onto this pick. If they do, Ryuji Sakamoto is the logical pick as they will add a very promising young defensemen to an already well built roster. Last season Sakamoto was one of the main reasons for Mexico's success in the regular season and playoffs as they were just above a point per game collectively. Sakamoto has a very bright future and Toronto could be the place we see them come to the VHL.                                             8 D.C. DRAGONS     Brian Kowalski @Wheaties                         D TPE: 273                                     SEASON GP G A PTS (+/-) SHT PIM HITS SB     Season 82 - Regular Season 72 34 53 87 28 302 63 93 102     Season 81 - Regular Season 10 0 1 1 -6 6 14 6 10     Season 82 - Playoffs 19 12 19 31 14 81 8 24 29     Season 81 - Playoffs 12 2 1 3 -2 6 10 8 11     Brian Kowalski fits perfectly into D.C.'s defensive structure for seasons to come as following one season they will slot perfectly into the top 4. This past season Kowalski was very productive for Saskatoon as they scored 12 goals and 19 assists in 19 games on their way to a Founder's Cup win.                                             9 CALGARY WRANGLERS     Pete Mitchell @Crstats23                         LW TPE: 250                                     SEASON GP G A PTS (+/-) SHT PIM HITS SB     Season 82 - Regular Season 72 44 49 93 25 366 33 88 22     Season 81 - Regular Season 18 1 1 2 -1 20 2 10 1     Season 82 - Playoffs 7 3 2 5 -3 26 6 11 2     Season 81 - Playoffs 16 3 0 3 -6 25 10 17 3     The Calgary Wranglers have also gone into a retool this offseason and we should expect them to draft the best player available with each of their picks. This past season Pete Mitchel was a very reliable and consistent forward in the VHLM and recorded 44 goals and 49 assists for a total of 93 points in 72 games. With Calgary they would step in on their first line in season 84 and potentially be Calgary's top winger for their entire career alongside either Daniel Janser or Saku Kotkakoivu.                                             10 CALGARY WRANGLERS     Jake Thunder @Thunder                         D TPE: 251                                     SEASON GP G A PTS (+/-) SHT PIM HITS SB     Season 82 - Regular Season 72 4 19 23 -19 72 64 177 117                             Season 82 - Playoffs 7 0 8 8 4 12 12 10 8                             Jake Thunder is a very interesting pick here as they are the top defensemen remaining in the draft, but did not have the strongest season as they only recorded 4 goals and 19 assists for 23 points in 72 games. Their defensive upside though cannot be ignored as they had 177 hits and 117 shots blocked. Additionally, they were above a point per game in the playoffs for the Las Vegas Aces. With Calgary they would likely get the call-up for season 84 where they would be the backbone of Calgary's future defence core.                                             11 HC DAVOS DYNAMO     Leandro Goncalves @leandrofg                         C TPE: 253                                     SEASON GP G A PTS (+/-) SHT PIM HITS SB     Season 82 - Regular Season 72 27 38 65 -30 211 36 93 18                             Season 82 - Playoffs 11 8 13 21 9 36 4 20 5                             Davos needs forwards and Leandro Goncalves would fit the gap perfectly as they are projected as a elite first line center that will be in the VHL for S84. Last season Goncalves was great for Mexico as they were well over a point per game in their time with the team (61 GP, 71 Points). Their time in the VHLE in season 83 should allow for them to further develop their game and really start to progress towards their potential.                                             12 LONDON UNITED     Landon Wolanin @jacobcarson877                         LW TPE: 242                                     SEASON GP G A PTS (+/-) SHT PIM HITS SB     Season 82 - Regular Season 72 41 58 99 -10 388 43 117 60                             Season 82 - Playoffs 7 5 8 13 5 29 2 9 2                             London is in a position right now where they really don't need anything, as a result we should expect London to take Landon Wolanin. Last seasons Wolanin came just shy of 100 points in the regular season, but was excellent defensively having 60 shots blocked as a forward. Once they make the VHL they will be an excellent second line forward for any team and should be able to be on most teams first line shortly there after.                                             13 CALGARY WRANGLERS     Ivan Retoslav @eagle_3450                         C TPE: 249                                     SEASON GP G A PTS (+/-) SHT PIM HITS SB     Season 82 - Regular Season 72 26 54 80 26 234 29 93 28                             Season 82 - Playoffs 19 10 10 20 -5 86 12 38 6                             Calgary could do one of two things with this pick, either draft the best player available in Ivan Retoslav or draft positionally and take Baxter Arcanum. Last season Retoslav made a name for themselves and is becoming a very active member of the hockey community. While playing in a secondary role on Houston they recorded an impressive 80 points in the regular season and were above a point per game in the playoffs. Retoslav is very similar to Goncalves in the sense that they both have an extremely high ceiling and project to be very good players in the VHL.                                             14 NEW YORK AMERICANS     Augustus Kennedy @InstantRockstar                         G TPE: 247                                     SEASON GP W L OTL SV% GAA SO GA SA     Season 82 - Regular Season 71 53 17 1 0.895 2.76 4 198 1877                             Season 82 - Playoffs 19 12 5 2 0.895 3.77 1 73 694                             After missing out on Brandt Fuhr at 5th overall, New York will be looking for their franchise goaltender and they will find them at 14th overall in Augustus Kennedy. Kennedy was a major reason for Saskatoon's success last season as they recorded a ridiculous 53 wins in 71 games. in the playoff their play continues as they maintained a 0.895 SV% throughout the entire season, although their goals against did increase by 1.01 in the playoffs. With that being said, Kennedy is a goaltender that shows a lot of potential and any team that adds them knows that they are getting an elite goaltender for the future.                                             15 MOSCOW MENACE     Tomas Sogaard @Brandon                         LW TPE: 239                                     SEASON GP G A PTS (+/-) SHT PIM HITS SB     Season 82 - Regular Season 66 37 38 75 9 320 14 79 28                             Season 82 - Playoffs 11 11 8 19 -5 60 2 6 4                             Moscow's cup window is still open and will remain open for a few more seasons to come. Tomas Sogaard will be a reason that it stays that way once they make the jump to the VHL in season 84. Last season Sogaard played great for Mexico as they recorded an impressive 37 goals and 75 points in 66 games. Additionally, they played a major role in Mexico's playoff run with 19 points in 11 games. Sogaard will likley fill a depth role in Moscow as soon as season 84 and will likely see an expanded role shortly there after.                                             16 VANCOUVER WOLVES     PJ Daniels @xNJDevilsFanx                         LW TPE: 239                                     SEASON GP G A PTS (+/-) SHT PIM HITS SB     Season 82 - Regular Season 72 23 26 49 20 167 70 152 21                             Season 82 - Playoffs 7 5 3 8 5 5 20 19 2                             With the final pick of the first round and having already secured their franchise goaltender, Vancouver will probably look to draft a top remaining forward to hopefully be one of the core pieces for their future roster. PJ Daniels will be another part of their future first line alongside of Kakapo Bushtit. Last season Daniels improved drastically over the course of the season as can be seen with them being over a point per game in the playoffs compared to 49 points in 72 regular season. Daniels will hope to continue this scoring pace next season in the VHLE prior to making the jump to the VHL for season 84 or 85.

    Good evening VHL,

Some have scoffed that the United States of America is the last team to unveil their roster for the Season 82 World Cup. Some who are particularly foolish claim that we're just as late as we were getting into World War I and II. As noted, they are fools, for America is never late: we arrive precisely when we mean to, because we have the freedom to choose to do so. Today, as is every other day, is a great day for freedom, and even more so tonight, in fact, as it is time to unveil the defenders of freedom, the bastions of justice, your Season 82 Team USA!!

    Forwards To Victory:

    Defenders of Justice:

    Keepers of Liberty:

The United States of America will be represented well at the World Cup this season, as we aim to liberate the gold medal from the competition!
