  1. I appreciate the kind words. I am a little bummed I put @Rayzor_7 in a awkward position with the incorrect 4th rounder and @McWolf asking if he wanted Killinger, forgetting the trade back rule. Overall I still got my five files for work reviewed and got the new employee finished on two of her files, so win win for VHL and my workplace

So, hopefully no next time, just put the trade through on the portal and just tell the blue team to add in the player that cannot be traded?

Funny thing is I asked the the blue team what to do, and was told to do this, so please continue to explain how I should do it different.
  5. 1. Do you anticipate any trade deadline surprises? If you missed it were you surprised by any trade or lack of trades? I was surprised I had to work so hard from 9-1. Good god, thankfully my boss is off every second Monday 2. Toronto acquired McLaren in a trade recently. What do you think of the acquisition? (For tcookie: How do you feel about joining Toronto?) I am happy we were able to bring in another 700 TPE forward. Scoring wins VHL Championships, so another top end forward helps out. 3. We're struggling this season. Any idea why? Cause STHS is a prick? 4. Is there anything I can do to make your season better? Not for me personally, I think we need to continue being open and honest in the LR, but also keep in mind we in the management circle never stop looking to improve the roster, which sometimes can lead to less than desirable positions for players and management. 5. Do you think Toronto can mount a comeback and push for a wildcard spot? No 6. S80 recreates/new players will be creating now, will you be following this draft class at all? I will be following to try to identify some gems for the Legion, other than that I won't follow to much.

Toronto accepts. Portal issues prevented this going through on the portal. @Beketov was made aware

  9. Review: Good overview of Idaho and a compassion of the roomie to sophomore season. Although obviously a lot is based on projections, it’s clear Idaho is improving as he enters the stretch run of year 2. Good job holding the compassion stat to draw my attention as a reader. Good sized title, maybe one picture away from a perfect score. Good media spot. 9.5/10
  10. Review: I thought you did as good as possible with a interview based media spot, adding in music ques and the random commercial about toilet paper and juice. As the wording as not spades out it was kind of hard to read, but overall good job. Possibly a headshot or picture or the player would help the article as well 8/10
  11. 1. What is your favorite TV/Movie universe? I watch the Chicago shows with my wife, I am an old man so not much excitement for tv ha 2. Who is your favorite superhero? Superman is a good superhero if I had to choose one 3. What about your favorite villain? Penguin, great character 4. What do you like to do to occupy your free time? I work in my yard and house, it’s never ending no matter the season 5. Do you prefer grilled or toasted sandwiches? (Maybe neither?) I preferred toasted subs, does that count? 6. Do you have a favorite fast food restaurant? Wendys. 99 cent frosty is a great summer choice

  13. VHLE Destinations With the Victory Hockey League announcing the addition of the third league, the Victory Hockey League: Europe Vacation. The VHLE as it will be called, much to the chagrin to one of the men in charge of the new league, is expected to house players between 200-399 TPE. In today’s article we wish to got outside what might be considered the norm, and go over some long shots as the next city to play host to a VHLE franchise. Gothenburg, Sweden: Although the VHLM already had a team based in Gothenburg, with the Gothenburg Eagles, we believe the VHL would be in a prime position to return to the Swedish city. Everyone wants a Swedish based team in Vasters or Stockholm, but Gothenburg has a strong hockey following that could support another team alongside the Gothenburg Indians. With a 12,000 seat arena already built and filled almost each time the Indians play, a VHLE team in Gothenburg could benefit from the established arena and hockey crazed fan base. Berlin, Germany: When the VHL finally expanded to Germany with the Cologne Express back in Season Thirty-One, German hockey fans were elated, but that excitement quickly faded when the team was rumoured to be leaving in Season Fifty-Seven. The league leaving had to do with the bad position of the league at the time and not the performance or support of the team, so heading back to Germany given the opportunity should be a nature fit, even if it’s not a return of a VHL franchise. Paris, France: I am basing this selection off the early push France got from the VHL community. With a population of over 2 million people and a arena that can hold 15,000 fans for hockey, Paris has the intangibles to be successful, only question is will the fans show up each night. France has been showing better on the international stage for hockey, so hopefully the excitement from that can carry over to the country first VHL franchise. Zurich, Switzerland: While we understand the league already has a team based in the near by Davos, we believe another franchise can work in Switzerland. Bern of course was a VHLM franchise until their departure to Las Vegas in Season Fifty-Four, which again like many moves in the league had nothing to do with performance of support. With many current and past hockey superstars coming from Switzerland, the country at least deserves to be included in a serious conversation for the VHLE franchises. Manchester, England: While the VHL recently expanded to England, with the London United franchise, we believe a team in a country the size of England has to be worth a look. Manchester has the Manchester Storm hockey club that was founded in 2015, but the club currently plays out of a 2,167 seat arena, which wouldn’t work for the VHL. The city has the fifth largest population in England with 547,627, but is included in the Greater Manchester area that included 2.8 million people. With many different transportation options available, a team in Manchester could have access to lots of “local” support. With no current infrastructure for a VHLE team, this may be the biggest hurdle to get a team in Manchester Capped TPE for the week of June 14th-21

  15. Obviously a different religion, but we have a cousin in Italy doing his residency. I believe part of their residency for him, is teaching school children in Italy. We hear some cool stories about the Pope too. Good luck to you in your new church!
  16. 1. What do you think about the start we've had? Its a nice start, sucks we have had so many 1 game sims so far, hard to get that excited for 1-0 sims. 2. Any thoughts about your players performance so far? I am pleased to a point. I need to be better in the faceoff circle as the 2nd center 3. What do you think about the VHLE? I couldn't tell you a single thing about the new league. Hopefully it helps with the influx of players as the salary cap is a touchy subject amongst commissioners 4. Do you have any locations you'd like to see in the VHLE? Vasteras, Bern as i have a soft spot for that franchise 5. 'Klam' recently got his first VHL shutout against Chicago. How many more do you think we can get him before the season ends? 6 shout-outs season. We need to see more @hedgehog337 in the LR to FYI. 6. Where do you think Toronto will finish in the NA Standings 2nd in the NA Conference, behind Seattle. So we can take that underdog reward at the end of the playoff series with them.

  18. His memorial service was very nice. Being online was the only decent thing about COVID was being able to view his service
  19. What about the Hamilton Canucks tho?
  20. It ain’t called the social club cause of the drinks
  21. Pleasure sharing a lover room since the trade. Thank you for carrying us offensively last season, I smell a point explosion coming up for oh Sens.
  22. VHL Updating Team As I was completing the rest of my weekly VHL Updates, I noticed my update from this morning was already approved. We use to wait an entire week for all your updates to be confirmed and updated on your VHL player page, so the new portal and continued dedication from the updating crew has made the VHL TPE claiming much more efficient. I wanted to give a shout-out to the team members that have been keeping up with my updates, hopefully this way I can capture more than I miss. @MexicanCow123 – I mean every time I look at my update approvals the past 5-6 weeks, it’s usually been you. Although they may not mention it all the time, the VHL appreciates everything you do behind the scenes of updating. @Velevra – Old School updating is in your blood, so no surprise you are still killing it with updates. We appreciate you as a member and updater in the VHL. @OrbitingDeath – I mean you have come up huge for the league for many seasons now, so it’s no surprise you will contribute when you can. Appreciate the efforts with updating for the league. @Spartan – I will see your name pop up in the updates every now and then. Thank you for taking the time to give back to the league in your updating position and helping make the league the fun it is. @DMaximus @Enorama– You have been updating for close to a year now if not more from the poorly up-kept updater page. That is a long time, no matter how you look at it for VHL jobs, which can take a toll on your VHL experience. We appreciate all the time you put into this league to make it enjoyable for all. @Acydburn- Not only do you carry the high power minors now, VHLE position, but you also provide back to the league in terms of updating. We appreciate the had work in updating and in the VHLM. @Blazzer – Another name I seen in my updates more frequently around the beginning of 2021, but none the less I wanted to give you a shout-out for the hard work your provide for members each week approving those TPEz. We appreciate the work you put in through your updating efforts. @rory- Another updater I seen more frequently in 2020, rory was always an updaters that was quick with the approval trigger, which is great, especially was a first impression to first gens. We appreciate the work you put in. To the rest of the updating crew that I did not mention, I apologize for inexcusabily missing you, but please know the VHL cannot work without you guys, and although you don't win awards anymore for being awesome, everyone on the team deserves one. P.S. system - Best updater of all as you do not ask questions and approve everything automatically. Thank you for your service.
  23. Review: Good read! It was nice to read something VHL players related that was off-ice stuff. A few people i know in our local church community often go to these places and offer a helping hand, and its very commendable. Sounds like a great way to spend a off-season after a tough sophomore schedule for Sales. Once again, good read and refreshing to not read about a upcoming or previous VHL season! Good pictures but the text got spread out through the large pictures which made the read more difficult 9/10
  24. 1. What do you think about Toronto's off season moves so far? (Resigning Hornet, Webber; acquiring Killinger; and stockpiling picks in the S80 VHL Entry Draft, etc) I was happy with all the moves that came. The league news of a soft and hard cap really helped us o 2. How many players do you think will surpass thirty goals? On the Legion, I think we will have two guys surpass the thirty goal mark this season 3. Do you think Toronto could have two sixty assist players this season? Well seeing as we didn't have any hit last season, I think we will have only one this season hit. Erik will be our 60 assist man in his last VHL season 4. Does anyone reach triple digit points? With our depth, I do not believe so. I believe we have good overall scoring with our roster and that will spread the points out. 5. NA Conference will be tight this season -- do you think Toronto can reach 40 wins again? Yes, I believe we can hit the 40 win mark in Season 78 6. Season opener is just around the corner. Are you ready? Well a little late to the party, but yes I was excited for the season opener.
  25. I know you were but the review gave me credit for those, I gotta rep the legend that actually made them
