  1. 1. We actually win games, way more than I would have imagined. So that’s a big positive I would say. 2. I would say overall the biggest surprise is how little the first 20ish games seem to mean in a VHL season the last few years. Lots of teams that begin the season on a hot streak seem to end up 4th,5th and even 6th at the end of the year. 3. London’s pretty bumping on a weekend game night. 4. Rock 5. Spotify, I mean I can listen to 30 seconds ads every now and then but 9.99 for three month deals bring me back. 6. Annoying summer things die (mosquitoes, etc)
  2. Your podcast was #2 in my year in review in Spotify. You are kind of a big deal. Good listen
  3. 1. Our team is very experienced, with most of our forwards retiring this or in the season after this one. Do you think it's a positive for our chances at Continental Cup? I think we have a chance at the cup. Hopefully we don't have to experience the wild card round this year in such a tough NA Conference. 2. Dood and Dear are combining 39 points in 10 games. Can they keep up this great hockey? Yes, those two have been leading the way all season for us and will continue in my opinion all 72 games. 3. Which 3 D.C players will have the most points when the season ends? (https://vhlportal.com/teams/34) Dood, Dear and Welch will continue on leading the way 4. What is a thing you know but you wish you didn't know? Peoples thoughts on any of the worlds issues. 5. Do you enjoy busy city or calm country side? I like something in-between 6. What is something that you can't stand that other people do? Discuss politics, health or other similar areas unsolicited.
  4. The fact you wrote this prior to the pandemic is a little eerie. Good read as always, kept me entertained as a reader and kept me guessing of what would happen next
  5. That line resonated with the weird things we experienced in nature when the world stopped in 2020 .
  6. Thank you for the Lester Green love in your avatar. More importantly good luck in University and in the football season (CIS(or whatever its called now)/CJFL) i assume.
  7. You will always bring the best out in me in the VHL.

    Good luck in Malmo @fromtheinside
  9. 1. What do you think about our roster (compared to other NA teams)? On paper right now, we are going to really need to come together as a group real fast. Calgary, Chicago, Los Angeles and Seattle all have top level talent on their rosters in the forward position. Hopefully we will see some big production from the depth pieces on the team. 2. Who do you think will see the most improvement this season? Asher Reinhart. He's going to be entering year 3 with over 700 TPE. I have a good feeling he will put up career highs in almost all offensive categories. 3. If you're comfortable making predictions... where do you think TOR finishes? Fourth in the NA Conference behind Seattle, Chicago and Calgary. I hope i am wrong and we finish higher though 4. Do you think we make the playoffs? I think we make the wildcard round 5. Who do you think will be the leading goal scorer? Im hoping the work I put in during the off-season will pay off and I will break the 30 goal mark for the first time in my career. 6. Who do you think will finish with the most assists? Scotty Kabs will lead the team in assists for the second straight year.

Better return than the real Laine
  11. 1. Have you been following the NHL playoffs at all? My dad is keeping me in the loop. He’s enjoyed watching point since he was 15, so he’s been keeping tabs on the playoffs and Tampa 2. Predict the Stanley Cup Champions: Montreal or Tampa Bay? Hopefully Tampa 3. What have you been doing since the VHL playoffs started? Not paying attention. They way we played this past season, it’s hard to watch something we clearly should have been apart of. 4. Are you looking forward to the lottery tournament? No, this is the second time I’ve been with the Legion that we are playing in the lottery tournament for someone else. 5. Toronto has accumulated a decent draft stock. What do you think we should do with it? Look at building through the draft, until the right trade comes along, then you’ll have to think about a quick retool 6. How to you keep yourself entertained on the VHL now that we've missed the playoffs? I walk into the empty locker room, look around like fresh prince last episode and leave daily
  12. Upon the wise advise of the man himself @Peace, I’ll put my name forth.
  13. Review: Good overview of the seeding race for the VHLM playoffs. As someone that isn't in the VHLM this was a great recap of what to expect come playoff time for matchups. Pictures included helped the article , but some color and title would make this media spot really pop. 8.5/10
  14. Review: Oh man, its @osens. Good to see you again! Jesus that picture and the age of Aberg seem to be a bit off lol. Good look at the good and bad of his abilities on the ice currently. I wish you the best of luck i nthe upcoming drafts. Good read. 505words, picture and colors for the headers, helps bring the eyes where they need to be. Overall 9/10
  15. What happened and Where do we go? Another season of disappointment for Toronto VHL fans and players. There’s no recollection of the evil things I’ve done. Head feels Like I must have had some fun. Unlike the Sublime song “what happened”, the Toronto Legion and their players do not feel like they had any fun in Season Seventy-Eight. After finishing in Second place in the North Americans Conference in Season Seventy-Seven, the management and fans of the Legion believed the team was on the upswing. After starting Season Seventy-Eight 10-3, those beliefs of a team on the upswing seemed to be correct. All until a 3-2 loss against the Chicago Phoenix in the teams fourteen game of the season, put the entire season into a downward spiral. The Legion would lose sixteen of the next seventeen games after starting the season 10-3, putting the team into a hole they were never able to fully recover from. For a team that appeared to improve in the off-season, we have to wonder what happened? As the league off-season functions took place during the VHL off-season, the Legion were looking to improve their existing roster, thanks in large part to the announcement of a soft and hard salary cap in the VHL for the season. First off the Legion made a deal with London United, shipping off defenseman Micah Adrienne and a Season Eighty Toronto Third Round pick, in return for defenseman Erik Killinger and a Season Eighty London Second Round pick. The move was made with the thought process that even though Killinger was in his last year in the VHL, with him having close to 200 TPA more, Killinger could help the Legion more in the short term. While Killinger was able to put up decent point totals in his fifty-one gams with the Legion, the Killinger move unfortunately didn’t pan out and help the Legion move over that hump. Outside the trade that brought Killinger to the Legion in the off-season, the Legion were able to re-sign two members of the roster, those being SS Hornet and Jon Webber. Both players were brought back on one-year deal, with much different expectations for each player. Hornet was brought back to be the cornerstone on the number one line in Toronto, while Webber was brought back to continue with his depth role he took hold of in his VHL rookie season in Season Seventy-Seven. Neither of those players should shoulder any blame for the Legions poor season, as Hornet put up a career high in goals with forty-one, and matched his career high in points with seventy-eight. Webber also improved on his career high in goals and points, putting up eighteen goals and fifteen assists, for thirty-three points on the season. While both players had decent individual seasons, they were unable to carry the load for the Legion, who say only two roster players end the season with a positive plus/minus. Now as the off-season has begun for the Legion management, fans are wondering where does the team go from here? With many different options currently at the fingertips of General Manager Rylan Peace, the direction of the club should become more clear in the coming weeks.
