The player agency of middling VHLM rookie Jet Jaguar is very pleased to announce that the young prospect has managed to collect the first brand endorsement of his young career. The center, who plays for the Philadelphia Reapers, has shown glimpses of his two-way playmaking abilities over the first 16 games of the VHLM season, racking up 4 goals and 11 assists for 15 points, along with a +2 rating. This mediocre early performance attracted the interest of popular leisurewear and training gear company Over Armour, who has signed Jaguar to a $500k endorsement deal with little fanfare. However, this brand endorsement should definitely give Jaguar an advantage on his training and development over the season, as Over Armour also has endorsement deals with VHL superstars Joseph McWolf and Brick Wahl. The outspoken Jaguar released a statement on his social media marking the new partnership: "Proud to now be a Over Armour athlete! The staff over at @overarmour have been incredible, and I look forward to representing their brand. Their one-piece coverall is incredible, and has definitely added a new dimension to my game. My floppy bits don't move a damn millimetre when I'm out on the ice. Now that's a good look."

1. After one long offseason, season 65 has finally started. What do you think of your team's performance in these first couple of sims? Surprisingly good tbh. I really wasn't sure how we would contend with the more hyped teams like Minnesota, Saskatoon, Vegas, and Halifax, but we've played some mighty fine hockey and have a pretty respectable .500ish record. I think we beat Minnesota the other night, which was a statement win for the Reapers IMO. 2. How is the ambiance in your locker room after these sims? Great! We are still figuring out our best lines but the atmosphere is really good. We had a team vote for captaincy, and I think we got letters on good guys like Barabash Jr, Frostbeard and Gruber. Philadelphia LR is lit. Also, isn't it ambience? Maybe Ambiance is an american spelling or something... 3. Which team do you like playing against more than others? I like to play against Minnesota and Ottawa. I think those are two good clubs in our league, and I know a few players on each of the rosters, so it's always a nice little chirping point if we get the win or I get on the score sheet against them. I've heard Saskatoon has one of the only Fuddruckers in Canada, so I'm looking forward to playing them later this season too. 4. Season has just started, so the VHL Entry Draft might be hard to predict right now, but in what round do you think you'll be taken? I'm thinking first round. As a member, I'm legendary. As a player agent/creator/whatever, I'm pretty solid. Really don't see some of these first gen guys ever getting picked before me, but I could be wrong I guess... 5. Besides hockey, obviously, what other sports do you like to play casually or watch? I watch professional e-sports. League of Legends, Pokemon Nuzlocke runs, speed runs, whatever. I'm also a big fan of competitive darts and I think Phil Taylor is one of the GOAT sportsmen of all time, quote me on that. 6. What's your game day routine? What do you eat before games? I don't go out of my way to do anything special on game days. I'll usually try to grab a quik burg play and smoke a joint just to get in that zone for some scintillating simulation hockey. I've recently quit smoking cigs, but I make the odd exception for really big games. Just part of the process, you know?

I like it tbh. If I had to CnC, I'd say the lighting on the render's face is a bit too strong, causing a white ultimate warrior style facepaint look, not that it's a bad thing. I would try to use curves and masking out the focal point of the sig to focus the lighting more (basically vignetting the edges of the sig) maybe. Also, IMO full sig gradient maping usually end up looking pretty decent, but IMO are generally looked at as low-brow/amateur/a crutch, in my humble opinion. with that being said, you still got it

I think BOOM might be the one person I'm too pussy to fight though. Especially since he's a mega-rich playboy who can fly around the world catching fades. I only catch fades in Saskatoon, how am I supposed to compete with that?

ayyyy good to see the pajodcast crew is still around... is it unfortunately sans jericho tho? I haven't really seen him anywhere.

Salutations, Some of you may know me while some of you may know of me, and some of you may have never heard of me before. I am a long-time VHL supporter making his triumphant return to the GOAT hockey sim league. For those of you who don't know me, I am, of course, gorlab. I have been active on a couple of sim leagues in the past, including VHL. I've had some good times and some bad times on sim leagues, but have met a lot of cool people and used sim leagues to teach myself a bit of graphic design, so I have no complaints. I'm over 30 and live in Saskatoon, SK. I've been known to offer the fade to other sim leaguers, and that policy is still in effect, so if you ever find yourself in Saskatoon and want to fight a sim leaguer, hit my line. I have two former VHL players, neither of which amounted to much besides raising multiple Continental Cups. My first player, Jody 3 Moons, was a winger that played on the New York Americans, Stockholm Vikings, and maybe another team in the S40-S50 era. My next player, a defenceman named Bobby Digital, played for NYA and maybe Riga Reign in the S50-S60 era. I've recently returned to the VHL to find that many things have changed, but there are still a lot of familiar faces who I still fuck with the long way. @Will I been back on this site for like a week now and you haven't said wassup? Cmon bruh, I hear you're the big cheese now, but you'll always be the late night hortons running, cigarello smoking homie in my eyes. Some of these new people I met said you made the vhlportal.com. Shit works pretty damn nicely, so good work. I'm glad your education has finally paid off. My new player is a playmaking centre named Jet Jaguar, who will be playing the upcoming VHLM season with the Philadelphia Reapers, so all my OG VHL player partnas keep an eye out for the kid, and get your S66 draft picks ready. I'd shout out a whole bunch of other OG members in this thread, but i'm just trying to get to the tpe tbh. Thanks for reading and I am glad to be back for another run through the VHL.
