After two straight seasons, the Seattle Bears will no longer be Continental Cup Champions. Winning the Cup back to back in the 68 and 69 (nice) seasons, the Bears finally have some time to hit the golf links after the Calgary Wranglers took them out in the North American Conference Finals. Scott Greene, in particular, looks to enjoy some leisure time. "I've wanted to relax for a little bit, actually", says Greene. "But it wasn't possible. We wanted to ride out momentum as far as we could. Now we plan on kicking back, and I plan on getting drunk and hitting some golf balls!" Greene says that Seattle, however, is far from dead. "We're looking ahead. Obviously, there are going to be some changes, but we want to stay competitive! And, I do want to say, good luck to the Wranglers! I hope they make it and we keep the Cup in North America!" 154 words

The Faith of Morale So, after speaking with several different members, and listening to many different opinions, I've come to the conclusion that Morale is a made-up stat and actually does nothing. Any lapses in good play create lower morale, not vice versa. And yet, many believe that morale is one of the most important things that separate a winning team from a losing team. My main argument against this is that Morale (Hallowed Be It's Name) is set to the lowest possible setting. It's not designed to to anything at all. Until someone runs a batch of shadow sims with moral off and morale at the highest setting, I won't be a believer. Case in point, at the start of the current playoffs, Seattle had a lower morale than Vancouver, and yet, they took an early series lead of 2-0. The belief in Morale is just an attempt to rationalize the randomness of our Lord STHS. There is no reason behind anything. It's all random and we're all going to die.
