Review: I like the use of grays and white. I can't tell if the text was using a gradient or was a layer overlay. The text maybe a tad too big for the signature, but overall good job! Side note: the signature reminds me of stoners leaving their van or car after it's hot boxed.

Review: It looks a bit color washed. I appreciate the blending of the logo on the jersey it looks great. I would try to blend the text a bit more with the background.The text also seems a bit large for the signature. Overall good job!

Review: Wow I haven't seen a use of filters like that in a while. The text looks great and is clear and fits the style of the signature. Nothing seems out of place with the exception of the Senators logo instead of the davos logo. I also can't tell what is in the middle in purple, it looks like a marlin. It's a super clean signature and looks great!

Review: Love the player selections! I agree the text seems a bit out of place. It could be blended a bit more, and maybe add the team logo instead of the stick.

@Banackock I mean I see 3 legitimate options here. Both teams are stacked or you choose your own fate, I mean it is your player after all. You'll have to deal with that team for the entire season. I wonder what Bran would say?

Name: Acyd Burn Age: 16 Position: RW Height: 5’10” Weight: 190 lbs. Birthplace: Brooklyn, New York Acyd Burn is a right winger from Brooklyn, New York. He is an only child, born to his parents Sarah,and Joey. He started skating on the ice at a very young age, learning from his father. Acyd came from an incredibly athletic family with members of his family playing in different professional sports. Sarah was a professional figure skater who represented the US in the 2002 Olympics in Salt Lake City taking home the gold medal in Women’s Singles . Joey was a speed skater at the same olympics and took home a silver medal for the US. This is how his parents met, they were married the following year and decided to have a baby. Currently His father is a full-time speed skating coach and mother is a successful doctor. Early Childhood: Acyd first laced up his skates when he was a 1 year old. His father would take him to work with him and he would mimic the other skaters. Falling to his knees to keep his balance but always with a smile and throwing his arms back like he was gliding. This continued for a couple of years until his father noticed that at 5 years old Acyd was out skating some of his older students. He decided at that point to train Acyd as a student. It was at 7 years old that Acyd’s ability really took off, he entered into multiple competitions and would place in the top 3 consistently. He was competing against kids 2,3 sometimes even 5 years older. At 10 years old, Acyd was brought to an Islanders game at Nassau Coliseum for a friends birthday party. It was at that moment that he saw the beauty of ice hockey. He saw how elegant the game could be and it wasn’t just about skating. There was passing, shooting, dekeing, checking, etc. It was exciting to say the least. After that game he went home and asked his parents if he could play ice hockey. His parents signed him for a couple of hockey clinics and it was apparently that his skating was his strength his ice IQ and stick handling weren’t up to par with the other kids. At this time his coach knew how great of a player he could become with some of the fastest skaters creating scoring opportunities off the rush. He worked with him after practice to run through drills and even taught him drills he could do at home. It was this coach taking the time with Acyd that motivated him to be the best player he could. He would go through his drills every night, watch tapes of the greatest players, attend any live game he could. Teenage Years/Training Camp It was at age 14, Acyd was approached by the Erie Otter’s of the OHL for a training camp. This was the first time he would be away from home and his parents but knew that he wouldn’t get this opportunity that often. Being young in a league full of older guys was a bit intimidating at first, he wasn’t fully developed (who is at 14?) but that didn’t deter him. Taveres, Bobby Orr, and Glen Gooddall were all around 14 when they played in juniors. Why couldn't he? Acyd wanted to make his parents proud and wanted to make sure all of the lessons his father taught him and all the extra work that his coach did with him would show. At the training camp he was able to show off his skating ability by slipping past defenders and creating lanes. This wasn’t too liked by one of the defenders on the team, he decided to take it upon himself and show that the OHL isn’t a league for 14 year olds. He decided the next time that Acyd wanted to get by him he would lay him out. Well he waited for the right time and in the middle of the open ice in the neutral zone he laid him out. This caused a scuffle between the two teams and coaches rushing to Acyd’s aid. The hit left Acyd with a concussion forcing a quik end to his training camp. Acyd went to the hospital and underwent the proper protocol for a concussion. He returned back to Brooklyn a couple days later. This was the first time that he had been seriously injured. He contemplated going back to speed skating where he wouldn’t have to worry about the physicality of the game. He took a few days and weighed out the pros and cons. His biggest deciding factor was the feeling of scoring a goal or an assist and being bombarded by your team for the effort, it was enthralling. It was one of the best feelings he’s ever had, being a part of a team and contributing in a positive way. He made his decision to continue with hockey in Brooklyn and try to work his way back to an opportunity in a professional league. After a couple of week’s he gets a call from the GM of the Erie Otter’s. He apologized for what happened on the ice and hoped that he alright. He said that they would love to sign him to an entry level contract and see how far he and the team can go. That season the Erie Otters made it to the memorial cup final but lost to the Windsor Spitfire’s 3 to 4. Overall the season was a success and Acyd proved he could play at the next level. He came in second on the team for scoring and fourth in the league for goals and 6th for assists. OHL Success/The Future This was enough to get a call from VHLM GM Thranduil, asking Acyd to join the Halifax 21st as one of their depth wingers. From this point on Acyd had started his professional hockey career and intends to shock the world. Now in his first season, he knows he has full faith from his family and teammates and intends to build upon that to become the best player he can be.

Name: Acyd Burn Position: Left Winger Current Team: Halifax 21st Age: 16 Height: 5’10” Weight: 190 lbs. Birthplace: Brooklyn, New York Preferred Number: 52 Brief Bio: Burn was a surprise success in the OHL, starting hockey at a late age. He picked the game up quik and was able to contribute due to his superb hand eye coordination and natural skating ability. His mentality and ice IQ has cemented him as a top 6 winger at any level he plays in. He has developed at every level that he has played at. Notes From Scouts “Kids a real snipe celly, boys” with a quik wrister and an accurate slapper, he finds the back of the net. A little reckless, taking untimely penalties but a good coach can instill some discipline. he knows how to get into tight spaces and follow through. “Kids a rocket, passes by defenders like they’re standing still.” Pros Scoring: Scoring is what he does best, being put on PP1 has made a tremendous impact on his goals last season. Playing in the CHL for a season has given him more confidence in his scoring ability. Most of his goals come from his quik and accurate wrister and loves to beat goalies glove side. Passing: Burn’s passing is on par with his ability to score, he can find his teammate through traffic with a gorgeous saucer pass or up ice with a straight laser. He’s not afraid to pass the puck to make the play. Puck Handling: With great scoring and passing comes great puck control. His dekeing ability has led to some of the most beautiful plays I’ve seen at the OHL level. He’s a dual threat when touching the puck, If he’s not blowing past defenders with his speed he’s putting the puck right between their opens to open the lane. Skating: Graced with the skating ability of Michelle Kwan he slips past defenders and crashes with the net with ease. He has the ability to create lanes and open up the ice with his speed. His speed has led to multiple breakaways and is rarely seen passing the puck backwards. The neutral zone is his best friend being able to cut right through. Cons Checking: The undersized forward has a long way to go with checking. His physical presence is very seldom seen, mostly trying to go around players compared to into them. Due to being undersized if he gets caught he usually gets laid out. This has led to a few take aways. Discipline: Burn didn’t lead the league in PIM but wasn’t the most disciplined player on the ice. He took a couple untimely penalties being a bit too over eager on the play. Leadership: Even though Burn is mostly responsible on the play he’s not much of a leader. He would rather be working on improving his stats than worrying about how he appears to the team. That’s not to say he won’t help out a teammate in need, his priorities are becoming the best player that he can be. He spends most of his time working on passing and stick handling skills by himself. Final Thoughts: This is not a player who is in the sport for the glory or the money, he truly loves the sport and wants to be the best player that he can be. While he has many short comings and is still developing as a player he would make a great addition to the wing for any team.
