Mini Muu reacted to Elmebeck in Elmebeck calls out Halifax 21st players
The uncharacteristically vocal Swede, (D) Elmebeck, called out several players on Halifax 21st prior to the upcoming meeting in VHLM game #136.

"@SparrowLTD,  @caltroit_red_flames, @Dtayl and @studentized will have no chance to get by me while I am on the ice. Also what's with eight right wingers on one team?! GM @Thranduil should probably look at adding a C or two too!"

While obvisouly tongue in cheek the young defenceman has been stirring up emotions between the two teams, interrupting a Halifax 21st press conference last week by waving a placard that read "Halisux 21st Dumb Street".

Halifax 21st and Houston Bulls are currently 4th and 5th respectively, with only two points separating them at this time - by game 136 they will both have played six more games.

Mini Muu reacted to Gustav in Shackleford Visits Moscow, Says Swedish Girls are Hotter Than Russian Ones
MALMO--Some thought the Nighthawks reached for Rusty Shackleford in the second round, but he's very proud to say that, with his selection at 17th overall in the VHL Entry Draft on Saturday, he's the first active, shitposting, defensive defenseman to ever be picked up by the team in the draft.

    Oh, wait...

Anyway, Shackleford recently released a statement containing an overview of every expansion city, VHL and VHLM, including his unsolicited opinion of the women of each city. Though he seemed to be a fan of the ladies in Malmo, he neglected to mention those of other VHL cities for comparison. It follows, then, that the media quickly caught up to him, and asked what he thought. Instead of answering for every VHL city, (a visibly drunk) Shackleford instead elected to go on a ten-minute-long, less-than-kind rant about Moscow, in which he made it more than clear that Malmo's women are indeed more appealing.

At least one teammate agreed with him on the spot. "That's why I signed with this team," said Vaydar Odinsson. "As soon as I heard this team was interested, I bought my plane ticket and met [GM Christopher] Miller for lunch. Mind you, he wasn't expecting me, but I met him anyway. I know my Swedish girls, and they don't call me The Boobmaster for nothing."

Odinsson and Shackleford decided to end the interview at this point, as they had plans at a local strip club and were opposed to the possibility of being late.

Hounds Scott Greene Injured in Dabbing Accident

While preparing for the playoffs during a practice this Tuesday morning, Mississauga Hounds player Scott Greene has injured and broken his nose while practicing dabbing. Greene has been practicing his puck handling skills so as to be a more visible force during the playoffs with the Hounds, who play against the Ottawa Lynx in the first round. While running drills up and down the ice, Scott went for a dab he refers to as “The Nuclear Dab” after “sinking a nasty shot” to the back of the net. Scott dabbed so hard that he managed to knock his nose loose and cause severe bleeding. Several teeth were also loosened by the impact of the dab. Doctors are unsure how long Scott will be out.

Scott plays on the first forward line for the Hounds, a team that very much desires to make an impact in the postseason. “Hopefully his injury isn’t too severe and he can begin playing again soon,” says the team's doctor. The players have been experimenting with dabs as a means of intimidating the other team, and it’s resulted in a few minor injuries. This isn’t the first thing that was tried, however. We had to put DeYeeto’s shoulder back into place after he tried to ‘T-Pose’ on a rival goalie.” The matchup against Ottawa is already going to be difficult for the young Hounds team as-is. If the dab does make it into the playoffs, we can only pray that it doesn’t result in more injuries.

Gotta love expansion teams! Even though I'll be in the VHL next season it will be interesting to see how all three of these new teams do.
As far as other expansion teams go, Houston has already managed to make themselves legitimate, but that extra first round pick is probably what's saved Philly's draft hopes from being absolutely destroyed by this announcement.

    A: (Oyorra) Arroyo
Age doesn't seem to be a problem when it comes to Arroyo, who is currently in his 7th season in the Victory Hockey League. While he might not be as noticeable as he was last season, the left winger has still been a star, getting 25 goals and 19 assists for 44 points in 40 games. Despite he might not be topping the lists like he did last year, there's no doubt that he is one of the best players in the league and is the best "A" player.

    B: (Julian) Borwinn
This was a hard letter to do, due to the scarcity of B names in the VHL, but it's no question that Borwinn is a great player. While he might not be talked about as much as the other players, he is still a star and is doing great. The Helsinki winger has 26 goals and 31 assists for a total of 57 points in 57 games. The former top rookie and 3rd overall pick has been doing great in the VHL and is one of Helsinki's most reliable players and one of the VHL's best players.

    C : (Ryuu) Crimson
Before you shout "bias", I have to say I discussed this with some other writers. Crimson was great in Riga, where he won the cup and became the first rookie to win Playoff MVP, and he is doing well in Davos, scoring 20 goals and having 21 assists in 41 games. The winger has been making a name for himself in the past couple of years and is a great player overall. He is a great goal scorer and has proven himself to be a star. The trade has given an opportunity to prove that he is a great player.

    Honourable Mention: Johnny Havenk Carison
I'm not going to do Honourable Mentions for all of them, only for ones where I feel like it's close. Carison might not have as much stuff on his résumé as Crimson, but he has proven himself his season. When Carison is in between the pipes, you can trust him to be reliable and spectacular. So far, Carison has a record of 20-19-1, 2.86 GAA, and 0.916 Save Percentage in 40 games. Carison is on fire this season and has proven himself to be a great goalie for the Nighthawks.

    D: (Veran) Dragomir
Dragomir was an offensive force last season and is still showing his offensive prowess this season, so far scoring 19 goals, 17 assists, making a total of 36 points. The veteran winger has been one of the best forwards for the Dynamo and one of the best players in the league. This superstar is one of the most exciting players to watch and Dragomir is probably the best player in Davos.

    Honourable Mention: Elias Dahlberg
Dragomir has a teammate who was kind of close when it comes to the best active D player. Dahlberg is a great young solid forward for Davos with 17 goals, 20 assists, making 37 points. He may not be as good as Dragomir but Dahlberg is a great player too.

    Graphic Guidelines
A graphic can be designed using a variety of programs like Photoshop, GIMP or Paint. It must be league related. League grahpics may not be re-used from other leagues.
    Requirements:
    - A reasonable amount effort. Effort is the amount of work put into a sig, and we recognize that the end product will vary by skill level. For example someone who has less skill with Graphics may come out with a worse looking product but still put considerable effort into it. Thus effort is essentially independent of the look.
    - We expect several layers and, in general, just a reasonable amount of time put into a graphic to make it worth 6 points.
    - Be creative and don't be afraid to look at other graphics for inspiration, but be sure to be original.
    - It is perfectly fine to post a PT that you used a tutorial to help you with but do try to grow into your own methods, and it may be good practice to show what tutorial you followed to help others give feedback.
Upon posting a graphic that you believe meets these requirements, you may claim 6 capped TPE immediately.
    Video Guidelines
    Requirements:
    - Effort is the main part of any graphic. If someone tries so hard to get their graphic right but doesn't do a good job on looks, he/she still deserves points.
    - Should be atleast 30 seconds long and include transitions, music, or whatever to help you have a good final product.
Upon posting a video that you believe meets these requirements, you may claim 6 capped TPE immediately.
    IMPORTANT RULES
    - You may NOT submit a graphic or video twice for grading
    - If you are found using another person's work, or a psd background, you will have to serve an updating ban at the discretion of the administrator/head grader.
    - All other discrepancies will be handled by an administrator to ensure that the point task fits within the VHL Code of Conduct.
