  1. @Ace Fantastic article Frans! Great stuff! We definitely play a defensive style. With us being so stingy I see us playing close games in every game. Let’s go win this. ?
  2. @Sebster03 that was a great article ! Thanks for the precise breakdown for our team. We all appreciate it and good luck to you and your journey! Yukon is moving on up ?
  3. Are you excited for the WJC? Yes it’s exciting. Who are you rooting for and why? I’m not rooting for any specific team Who do you think will win? Not sure really. Who do you think Claims MVP? The best player I would imagine. No clue yet. Who Makes the All-star team? Frans Eller Do you sing your country's national anthem or just mouth the words? I sing it. What team would you like to GM in the WJC? I would be happy to be GM for any of them. one player to snag from another team to add to your current team who is of the same nationality! Aamon Grim Would you ever burn a flag if you knew you wouldn't get caught? No I would not. You just got a penalty for unsportsmanlike conduct, what did you do? I’m not happy and head to the box. Jersey color swap for WJC special jerseys, what colors would you give each team? Gold and the other silver What is your fav task to gain tpe and why? I love making graphics and media spots.

  5. 1. How do you think you have played this season? Team wise and player wise? I am playing hard but still have a lot of work to do. Team is getting better too. 2. Thoughts on our 3rd place in the conference so far? The wolves are playing better than the beginning of the season. Finally getting some puck luck. 3. Do you think we will move up to 2nd (3 points behind Calgary), stay in 3rd or drop to 4th (1 point ahead of Seattle) I think anything is possible so yes the Wolves have the ability to go far. 4. Thoughts on the Legions 19-2-2 season so far? Are they guaranteed 1st in the NA? They are doing great. But nothing is guaranteed. 5. Thoughts on Kingfishers season so far? Kingsfisher is playing great. He also has one shut out also. Good save percentage ! 6. Have you changed your workout routine this year yet? I have added more focus on my conditioning and skating drills.
  6. 1) Does your player have a pre-game ritual? What is it? Draven just eats a good small meal and plenty of rest. But Draven reads up and studies a lot of tape & info about his opponents. He’s very focused. 2) What is your favorite goal song? Erik really doesn’t have a favorite. 3) What kind of mascot would you like to see for the Rush? Thats a good question ?maybe a Bull ?! Cuz I bull rush a lot of idiots on the ice. 4) Who is your favorite player in the VHL? I don’t have one. 5) What number do you wear and why? I wear number 77 cuz seven is my lucky and favorite number. 6) We're a couple weeks in, who would you vote for the C and A's? (1C, 2A) ( Draven C , Flowers A ,Plunkett A )or ( Flowers C, Draven A, Plunkett A )

  9. @sjs88speed oh wow thanks man. That’s your best article yet. That was amazing. I know Flowers and Draven would be more than willing to be your captains! Draven is definitely a selfless player. It’s all about the team and he’s very vocal in the locker room. Even with his edgy-playing style he’s always smiling and making it fun for everyone. I’m glad I’m on the 2nd line with you and Sami we’re finding good chemistry. Thanks man. 5 ️ On this piece.
  10. @JeffDAwesome article! Keep an eye on the new kid Tony Bolonee @Tbeez99for Yukon also. He’s a big 6ft 6” 220 lbs defensemen. Known for his transition game and strong puck control. He’s getting ready to start his first games this week.
  11. Thanks man. .I actually wrote this last week but I had to re post it cuz I couldn’t claim it then. When I wrote I didn’t realize I was already claiming a graphic. So I will have to do a more up to date one next time. Lol?
  12. @Tbeez99 and your TPE is now at 60 TPE correct ?
  13. @Tbeez99 respond to this thread so they know I recruited you Tony Bolonee.Thanks.
  14. New Goalie After finishing 9th place last season Yukon made some big changes in the offseason. Goalie Justin Cole departed and "A Red Guy" has replaced him in a great way! The new goalie is having a great start of season 67. His record is 5-1 with a .878 save percentage and a 2.31 GAA. On the other side, Justin Cole is having a phenomenal start also. He is 7-0 with .941 save percentage and a 0.99 GAA, and he is leading the league in all three. New Forwards (LW) Brendan Plunkett: is leading the team in goals with 6 Gino's and also leads the team with 12 points. (C) Frans Eller: is finding great chemistry with Plunkett and (RW)Draven. Eller has 8 points with a + 7 and 11 hits. Frans and Eller have been feeding off each other tremendously with their slick skillful puck play. Neither is wasting any chances to score. (RW)Erik Draven: has found a way to clear a path for his linemates with his physical play and strong forecheck. He leads the team with 16 hits and also leads the team with a plus/minus rating of +9 which is tied for 1st in the league. (next article I will highlight 3 more new forwards) New Defense Wolf Stansson Jr: has been leading the way on defense. He has provided not only solid defense but has been surprisingly offensive to start his first full year. He has 11 points(3g 8 a) and leads the team in assists. Wolf also has 2 Powerplay goals and 1 Game winner. Yukon has actually struggled on the PP going only 8 for 35 in 6 games. But their Penalty Kill has been superb by killing 8 out of 10 of their opponent's Powerplays. Lance Flowers: is showing his size out there 6 ft 7" 244 lbs! Currently, he is 2nd on the team in hits with 15 Kronwall's. You will also notice his courage when blocking shots, he has 5 blocked shots which is 2nd best on the team behind (D) Andrej Petrovic who has 6. Lance has 6 points (6A) his six big helpers. Flowers only drawback has been his ability to land himself in the penalty box as he leads the team with PIM's. But he makes up for it with his great penalty killing and special teams when out on the ice. Andrej Petrovic: at 18 yrs of age Andrej has never looked so calm and collective out there. Showing a focus and determination that is usually only seen by players that we consider "seasoned veterans."He has been contributing by using his strength and still making important passes that lead to big goals. Petrovic has 10 hits and 6 blocked shots. He has progressed a considerable amount just in this six-game span.No telling what we will see from him in the future. The future is bright and he has a great chance to keep steady minutes if he keeps up the hard work and maintains his physical presence for the entire season. Another plus he has on his side is he has yet to be penalized. Odds to win Given their early success, Yukon has a strong shot at winning the division if they can get past their old goalie? 15. 1) Is there a player on the team that you think deserves more recognition for their contributions? Reference: https://vhlforum.com/topic/66393-yukon-rush-week-1-stars/ I think Petrovic deserves recognition for his contributions. 2) Based on the games so far, where do you think Yukon will end up in the standings at the end of the season? Yukon will end up between 1st-3rd place. 3) What teams do you see in the top 3 of the VHL standings and why? Toronto,Helsinki,& Moscow because they are strong teams and very consistent. 4) If the VHL does expand as some people expect, where would you like to see a new team? I would like to see a VHL team in the Midwest. 5) How do you see the couple of upcoming games against Minnesota going? If they've already happened; review them against your expectations. I think Yukon will play much better games considering their lines have changed and Draven is on the 2nd line. Chemistry is getting better for the entire team. 6) GM/AGM feedback: Is there anything we aren't doing that you'd like to see? No both are doing a very good job.
  16. I would love to be a GM. I might be fairly new but I am beast on GM Mode on NHL video games. Many championships and always building Dynasties. I’m in it to win it! I know what it takes to win hockey games and how to build teams. Hire me and I will make you proud. I’m on here 24/7 so I’m addicted and active as all get out ??
  17. Good read Tony Bolonee! How come Bolonee isn’t your first name ???

  20. Who updates/approves the First Gen. Doubles? I purchased it a few days ago and still no approval on it yet? I would like to get that approved so I can claim my 6 uncapped TPE. Please and thank you. ?

Ye, no preferential treatment. I only look ~twice a week.

Yeah I understand you check it once/twice a week. But when I read an introduction to the league there was something in there that said if we had claimed something we could reach out to the updaters etc. So I was having problems with it showing up approved or not. Since it doesn’t give me a “ pending” for purchases it kind of leaves us not knowing if it even went through. I think that would be a good thing to change eventually. Cuz our claims show pending but purchases don’t. Thanks for all the help though. I definitely am not trying to get special treatment. Just communicating like I was told I could do. Thanks.

  21. Thanks for the kind words, Draven is off to a great start leading the team in hits and leads the league in plus/ minus ( of course we just played two games today so that will change quickly. Lol ?) Our top line is Draven,Eller,& Plunkett. But we have been getting a full team effort from all 4 lines. New Goalie has been good too.
