  1. Minnesota beat Philadelphia in the semi-finals in 5 games and is now on to the VHLM Finals! What are your thoughts on the series against Philly? Ottawa is winning the series against Halifax 3-2 and is expected to win. What do you think about facing Ottawa in the finals? Ottawa’s top scorers in the playoffs are on their 2nd line (D - Anthony Amberback, C - Thorny Underyew, and LW - Micheal Rasmussen). How do you think Minnesota’s 2nd line matches up with Ottawa? Does Ottawa’s lack of production with their 1st line give Minnesota an advantage in this series? Is there anything you’d like to say to a player on Ottawa? Have you played for a championship in your career before, maybe in minors or high school? How did it go? 1. I was honestly surprised. Philly gave us a tough time throughout the season, so I didnt think we would end it that quickly 2. Nothing changes whether we face them or Halifax. They are both great opponents. We need to be on our game if we want to win. 3. We got depth the same way they have depth. We need all of our players to step up, either to put the puck into the net or to stop the other team from scoring. 4. I think our 1st line will take advantage of that. Especially with the help from our blue line, I am confident we can out-produce the first line which gives us a nice edge, 5. Goodluck and let us have fun. Respect goes a long way forsure. I have nothing against anyone on that team, it will be a fun series for both teams and the fans forsure, 6. If I remember correctly, I had played a finals in the minors with my past player here. Kaspars Claude won a minors cup in the SHL already and Claudio Martucci won a VHL cup already. So I have popped my cherry when it comes to winning championships
  2. Kaspars Claude Forward Points 41/10 = 4.1 FO Won 764/150 = 5.1 TOTAL: 4.1 + 5.1 + 3 = 12.2
  3. id def say that accumulated points is enough obvs but whatever it is, i dont mind. if you think playoffs is better, than lets do playoffs in the end, were here to have fun. with playoffs it goes longer and its more enjoyable
  4. Gonna be an interesting series thats forsure
  5. What was a fun season finally came into the end and the real season started. The Minnesota Storm faced the Houston Bulls in the first round of the VHLM Playoffs and it went as expected for the team. Advancing on through to the second round, the Minnesota Strom actually swept their opponent. Led by their goaltending and their defensive depth, it really was no surprise that the Storm would have advanced in the first round. What was a surprise to many was the impact of Kaspars Claude to the Storms roster. Only registering a little above 40 points in the regular season, kaspars came to play when it mattered the most. Kaspars was able to register 5 points in 4 games in the playoffs, which is at a lot better of a pace that he was at in the regular season. Scoring 2 goals in the first game of the matchup and then an Overtime winner in the 4th and final game of the series, Kaspars has really shown some improvement over the season. He has even gained a new nickname in Minnesota, which is Kaspars Clutch instead of Kaspars Claude. "It is really cool to be hearing that from the fans right now" said Claude. "I did not think that it would really change my perception in the city. I am here to do the best I can do and right now we are clicking. Playing alongside Sundqvist and Palazzo, they make my job a lot easier. But once you start scoring some goals and you end up getting on the scoresheet, it just gives you the extra confidence you need to push harder. It gives you the reassurance that you are able to make a difference on the ice and people wanna see you succeed when you are out there with that jersey on. My job is not done thats forsure, we have a tough opponent coming up but that does not change my opinion about our team. I think we can go out there and advance to the next round, we have a good group of guys with the same goal in mind. We just have to go onto another gear and really play for the name on the front and not the name on the back." It is going to be an interesting series forsure when the Minnesota Storm take on the 2nd place Philadelphia Reapers. The Reapers had a better season series against the Storm but that can all change once the playoffs starts.
  6. REVIEW: Everyones gotta start somewhere. I dont think a fire background works well in this instance. Having your font in the bottom corner kind of makes it not part of the signature. The render should be bigger and take up more of the canvas. Look around the site, youll notice some nice sigs and get some inspiration and ideas from those
  7. REVIEW: Love the gif and the movement with the various colors when it moves. I think the background could use a little more work, especially like changing the style of it. Maybe going with like a hockey team celebrating or like a picture of moscow, instead of just a cloud. Would have been a nice touch
  8. REVIEW: Should be fun when Ottawa and Minnesota face off against eachother Cool team sig forsure, I like the idea of the team rocking it during the playoffs as an idea, as a team identity aswell. The colors work really well together, the logo in the background is also a very niuce touch. Its a cohesive piece forsure
  9. REVIEW: Its a very cool logo. But personally, I think that using a generic font like Times New Roman for a team logo isn't really a good look. Some depth with other colors would have been nice aswell. The idea is there, the execution could use more work
  10. 1. Who's winning the cup in the VHLM this season? Biased opinion on this one: Minnesota Storm 2. Who's winning the cup in the VHL this season? Another biased opinion: Helsinki Titans. Thats a soft spot for me. But Toronto has a well rounded team aswell. 3. Who on your team has made the biggest impact on you this season? Berocka Sundqvist, he makes the game easier when you on the same line as him. 4. Who on a different team has made the biggest impact on you this season? No one, I do not think anyone likes me around here 5. If you could be drafted to any one VHL team, which would it be and why? Helsinki Titans. I was a GM of them back in the day so it would be cool to go back to my old roots. Even Davos, they drafted my first player here 6. What are your goals for your player's career? Stay active, and win a cup. Everything else will come along with it
  11. Congrats to those who got appointed, well deserved
  12. I was in the VHL and the SHL when he was active. I was even his GM in the VHL when i was manager of Helsinki. We won a cup together. He helped me out a lot in the past
  13. With the recent expansion news coming out of the VHL, two new cities will be a travelling destination and gaining an exciting hockey team in one of the most talented hockey leagues on the internet. The Victory Hockey League announced recently that 2 members will be getting the job for the teams, one will be situated in the North American conference and the other will join the European conference to balance out the league a little. The influx of members forced this issue and caught me by surprise really, it is definitely something that will be fun to be a part of. From my knowledge, Hawaii is looking like a possible destination for the North American conference and, I can not believe I am saying this, but Vasteras might actually make a return to the site. By the looks of it, the addition of Vasteras will not be that significant for travelling, as it is about 480 KM away by plane to Helsinki, which is not so bad. Malmo would be in the same country as them and would not make it difficult to get to, and also make a great rivalry for the country of Sweden. Davos is a little south of Vasteras and would need a flight to it, Riga is close to Helsinki so that aint so bad. The problem comes with Moscow but hey, Moscow is a problem for every team so whatever. Hawaii on the other hand, this is where the problem starts in my opinion. Hawaii would be 7154 miles apart, whcih would be the biggest distance between 2 teams I think in like sports history. Thats atleast a 2 day plane ride. Hawaii to New York comes in as a 4800 miles distance ride and I would even assume this is not a direct flight. And let us talk about the arena and ice rink situation in Hawaii. Good on the league for announcing an expansion, good on the league for announcing 2 top members for the positions of General Managers. But, I hope some thought is put in for the destination. Cause my guy is not good with Jet Lag
  14. I went for a very Korad-esque feel for the signature and honestly, they came out not bad. Not as good as his thats forsure, hes one of the goats
  15. 331 Vancouver Wolves 332 Riga Reign 333 Moscow Menace 334 Calgary Wranglers
  16. I know, isnt it a pretty low move to make a nice sig and slap your own name on it
