Calgary Wranglers had a season last year that was great for the franchise. Moves were made so that we could compete for a cup and we did just that, finishing the regular season as the best team and going all the way to the finals. Unfortunately we were unable to get it done against a strong Riga team and left the team wanting more. With the expansion draft this off-season and salary cap problems, GM Jubis had a big job to restructure the team and get it under the cap and has done a magnificent job at doing so. The team will once again be one of the best in the league as all the main pieces from last year remain on the team. We did lose some big talent, but as did all teams across the league with the expansion draft. So let's finish what we couldn't do last year and get us that cup.

With off-season in full swing, how can you not be excited for all the stuff that's going to happen this year. You have four new teams coming into the league and that alone should hype up everyone. With the lists not being officially released as to who will be available in the expansion draft, one can only speculate. As a player that was just a rookie last year, I feel like my stock in the expansion draft will be very high. When I heard that there would be a chance to start off on a new franchise, I instantly went to my GM and told him that I'd like to be unprotected to become the face of a new team and help that team become a contender by the end of my career. There was some pushback but I got my way. Then I had a look at the logos and decided that I would rather not play for any of the teams, tough luck. Anyways, expansion draft and then rookie draft is still exciting. Cheers to a good off-season for all.

1. I was confident as could be, we were the best team in the league all year. 2. Gunnar was our MVP all playoffs long. 3. Every game is important all playoffs, doesn't matter whether it's the 1st or 7th. 4. I thought we were gonna match up well but clearly they were on another level come playoff time. Only 1 loss for them all playoffs is an unreal feat. 5. Yeah we obviously played better in front of our fans, was probably our downfall not being able to play on the road. 7. Trump Hotel!

1. Couldn't be happier, what a great experience for my rookie season. 2. Was surprised, wasn't worried though and got it done. 4. Need to keep playing strong against New York now, feel like we get past them and the Cup is ours. 5. Do leaves grow on trees? 6. Same as every day, big meal, nap, then get ready for game. 7. All about carb loading, pasta is the go to.
