A bunch of players of the VHL came together for some bonding to play some jackbox this evening (morning for me) and had a great time. More people should jump in discord and play next time as the new party pack is really great. With all the fun that we were having, people getting intoxicated by multiple substances and getting a little rowdy, most were having a good time. However Things did get heated between Rory and Josh and thus Jeffrey Pines announced he will be looking to test free agency at the end of his current contract. Also Josh’s pussy was very annoying which could have played into that decision. We will find out more and possibly this relationship will be able to be repaired in the next jackbox session. But you won’t be able to know unless you come to vhl discord and join the stream and fun. Cheers all

*Week ending October 18* (6 questions for 2 TPE) 1. Since the trade last week that brought in Latrell Mitchell and Willie Dredge the Preds have gone 6-8-1. Do you feel the team has improved with that trade? 2. Speaking of trades, today is trade deadline! Do you feel that Warsaw will be involved in the market or keep quiet and why? (If it is passed the deadline why or why not were they active?) 3. Are there any trades that you think will or have happened that will or have shocked you? 4. With rosters being set after today going into the playoffs, who do you think will win the cup? 5. How many more seasons before you think Warsaw is contending for a playoff spot and maybe being the team to add pieces at trade deadline? 6. Warsaw has two players leading the rookie scoring race, Lamb with 60 and Grachev with 54. Do you think these two finish top in the league and if you had to choose between the two, who wins top rookie of the year? 7. With off-season just 20 games away, what are your plans for off-season?

1. Hopefully good otherwise I will feel terrible being the big piece in the trade 3. CALGARY - Coming off the rink after 3 tough losses in a row, the Wranglers were defeated to say the least. This season has not been going as planned after being a top contender for the past few years. The defence along with Lafontaine is the best in the league, far and away better than anyone in terms of goals against but they just haven’t found their chemistry offensively to back that defence up. GM Jubis called Latrell into his office for a quick discussion and he thought for sure that his minutes were being cut for not contributing enough out there. “You’re not under contract next season and a few teams have been kicking rocks at you and a couple other guys, I have no interest in trading you but just wanted to be transparent with what’s happening right now. I’ll keep you updated but nothing to worry about,” said Jubis. Latrell thought it was weird to be sought after with the way his season has went, but was assured that everything was fine. Less than 24 hours later, however; a couple GMs got in contact that trade talks have heated up and just a couple hours after that Latrell has been told to pack his bags and that he’s moving to Europe. We were able to talk to Mitchell and this is what he had to say, “It’s surreal, everything happened so quickly. It went from likely nothing to traded in just under a day. I don’t feel betrayed at all as the GM was very open with me, I’m just shocked. Calgary was a great place to play and I wish them nothing but the best, but excited to get a fresh start with an expansion team and maybe I can really improve my play. Look out Warsaw, I’m coming in hot.”
