back from vacation aka another useless ramble

Nothing on AK's success so far?!?! -
Realistically you should watch the music video, it's pretty amusing. I think the last time I wrote a vhl.com, it was to bemoan some surprising starts for Moscow and Nico, albeit in opposite ways. Moscow was slumping from an 0-4 start to the season while Prague was surging out of the gate despite playing fewer games than most teams. We're mostly in the positive side of things now with Prague and Moscow sitting in 2nd and 3rd in the EU respectively. The EU is once again an insane slugfest - Riga in last place would likely be a playoff team in NA if Hedge hadn't been on vacation and could have tweaked lines after a slow start. It's nice to see Nico once again playing up to his old MVP standards, even if he has more help around him in the form of Perry Laperriere and John Jameson. One of the few requests from the young Jameson was that Pearce play alongside him on the ice, and the duo have certainly performed well together. Despite playing up to 3 games fewer than other teams, the duo along with Laperriere have been mainstays in the top 10 of league point scorers. Laperriere is fighting with former Phantom Nils Godlander for 1st place in the goals category as well. On the Moscow side, Ronan Lavelle has taken a massive step forward in his second season with Moscow - currently leading all VHL players with 31 points in just 21 games. Both he and Tomas Sogaard, another hidden talent on Moscow, are also in the top 10 of VHL goal scorers. Defenseman AK92 Wit da Hoodie has exploded onto the scene as well, leading the VHL in assists with 24, and is in 2nd place for defenseman scoring. Even Hammar Voss has recovered from a slow start to the season to sit in 6th place in defenseman scoring, just 5 points behind the leader. Personally, it'd be extremely satisfying to see both Prague and Moscow leapfrog surprise EU leader Helsinki and battle for the top seed for the remainder of the season. It's already been gratifying to see Moscow and our players claw back from a 0-4 hole to sit in 3rd place, but we all know the battle will continue for another 60 games.

Another presser! 1. Moscow has had quite the streaky start to our season, starting 0-4, then going 4-1, now back in an 0-3 rut. How do we fix the inconsistency? 2. Tomas Sogaard, AK92 Wit da Hoodie and Ronan Lavelle are all in the top 10 for league scoring. Do you think they'll be able to maintain their spots amongst the leaders? 3. Be honest - did you have AK92 as the league assist leader in your seasonal predictions? Is Hedge's success tied to his vacation time so he can't actually see that he's doing well? 4. Are there any players around the VHL that are surprising you so far to start the season? Can be a good surprise or a bad surprise. 5. What did you do for Easter weekend? Any special plans? 6. If you could be the best player in the world at any sport or video game, what sport/game would you choose and why?

50% as per the rules for a final pick getting skipped. Hope you had a nice Easter though!

Pretty cool to see Linkin Park release a treasure trove of music on the 20th anniversary of Meteors last Friday. 89 songs including the original album release, various live shows, demos, and also a few songs that were fully recorded and mastered but didn't make the final album. As someone who grew up on Linkin Park and have had my music taste shaped by them, it was really nice to have this massive album to listen to on my weekend drives. Onto league related things, once again everything is a surprise to start the season. It feels like the EU is always on a bender in the first few sims, with some random team starting hot before collapsing. Moscow decided to pull a Golden Guardians and start the season 0-4, not even managing to pull out a single OT or Shootout loss either. We've started in a bit of a hole but after going 4-1 in the games since then, we're certainly clawing back. While sophomore goalie Matt Murdock has struggled to start the season and our second unit is still building chemistry, it's been really nice to see the leap both Tomas Sogaard and AK92 Wit da Hoodie have made this season. Two really capable players, but have been in the background a little bit due to the vast amount of high end talent on Moscow the past few seasons. This season, they're making the most of their ice time and utilization, exploding into the league leading positions in various categories. As for Nico and Prague, they've been a bit unfortunate to have been the victims of funky STHS scheduling. While Moscow and other league leaders have 9 games played, Prague has only played 7. Despite that, Nico, Perry Laperriere and John Jameson all have 11+ points as Prague sits 5-2-0 and 3rd in the EU behind teams they have a game or two in hand on. Vibes are high and Prague will look to hunt down the top spot and lock it down soon enough.

Happy birthday to the little female steezy!

Why did Becca turn Arce into a raging alcoholic and why do we have to hear him pull up to the voice chat drunk at 2-3 AM telling us about a band he listened to in high school?
-
Thank you for the totally unneeded condescending response. I think we're concerned about different things in this thread at this point so I'll let you go back to posting various gifs and I'll go back to losing league of legends games.

Probably because your one sentence points haven't been making much sense. I just don't really get some of your points in this thread and the vibe seems to be the others don't get it either, or they seem that you're trolling a bit.

Ngl I have no clue what you're trying to say. Nothing about how one party feels about the opposing party's candidate is apathetic or resigned. Literally the opposite lol.
