Welcome to the new season of VHFL! Below is the randomly assigned draft order for your group. The draft is conducted in a snake order, meaning that each round goes in reverse order of the last. There is a time limit of 12 hours per pick. If the person ahead of you has not picked in their 12-hour slot, you may make your selection, and they can make up their pick anytime after the skip. If a member misses two picks without communicating to me or the GM - not necessarily consecutive, they will be disqualified and the team will be drafted by me or a filler I appoint. If someone has two picks in a row and fails to do the first one before 12 hours pass, tag them and give them another 12 hours for the second pick in a row. Once you have made your selection, tag the person following you. Group Manager: It is your responsibility to make sure that picks are being made within 12 hours, and if not, that the clock keeps going for the next pick. What are your thoughts on this trade/pick? 2. With a third round selection, we picked Lim Jahey - @Cuffy. Do you think he can be the biggest steal of the draft now that he's signed his ELC and is starting to claim TPE? 3. We now have three first round picks in the next two drafts. I think he can be as annoyed as he wants to be, I just found it counterintuitive that the decision on how to punish AJ was left to us and then he followed up in the thread to ask redundant questions that could have been covered in the moderator umbrella investigation of this situation. To me, it's like if I went and complained about IA rates in the VHLM publicly. I can be a concerned member of the community, or I could use my position to address the concerns relevant to my league job. Really it would just be me doing my job or working with my fellow Commissioner to address the issue appropriately. (I started this a while ago and didn't finish it due to meetings that I got stuck in.)

To clarify to everyone, we asked mods to finish their process before we got involved. Once their investigation ended, they deferred any AJ punishment to us. So I would assume the time to question AJ would have been during that investigation no? Feel like doing it after deferring it to M Commissioners defeats the point lol

Yeah especially with our desire to ensure teams replenish every season regardless of how they perform the prior season and what happens with their GM, we did not want to remove draft picks. We feel like it's more impactful to first strip pay with a warning that this is us being nice. Further infractions will lead to much more severe consequences than just some TPE that can be alternatively earned.
