Mexico City Kings Press Conference Week 2 chillin edition 1. Are you surprised by how we came out firing, going 8-2-0 to start the season? 2. Houston hasn't even lost a game yet, what can we do to possibly be the first to hand them an L? 3. Have you been living up to your pre-season expectations so far? 4. Building on that, what have you identified as a key area you need to improve on? 5. What's your favourite fast food for when you just need a quick meal? 6. What should we hand out after each game to acknowledge the "Player of the Game"? Perhaps a poncho?

claiming week 3 and another big bump

ESPN.SE - We're more than a few games into the season now and it's pretty clear that Malmo is suffering from a dreaded cup hangover. With just 3 wins from their first 11 games, they find themselves in the basement of the European Conference after having quite high hopes going into the season. Teams around them have continued to improve while it seems the Nighthawks have taken a step back after winning it all and they are going to have to really kick it into gear in order to turn this ship around if they want to be in a playoff spot come the end of the season. Offensively, things aren't looking terrible for Malmo, they have Hylands and Sheilds producing at over a point per game pace. But defensively they have struggled and it has cost them precious points in the standings. Looking at their results, many games were lost by only a goal so things have been close. Maybe some better puck luck and we would be writing a completely different article. Time will tell if the Nighthawks can figure things out.

Good to see you recreating @Kendrick! The Mexico City Kings can offer you time on the 3rd pairing currently, but with your rate of earning you'll be moving up the lines in no time. Here in Mexico City we are looking to get back to the Founder's Cup finals after losing last season. We have a strong forward core that can get the job done, but just need to shore up on defence so we can be a top team. On top of that we have an awesome locker room that's always having fun and is open to everyone. I think you would be a perfect fit here in Mexico this season.
