Mexico City Kings Press Conference 1st place edition! 1. Do you think we can keep our position on top of the league? 2. What do you think is the weakest part of your game? 3. Do you think the home of the Mexico City Kings, the Corona Dos Equis Modello Bowl Place Arena Centre needs to be renamed? 4. We recently had a 13 game win streak snapped, do you think we're going to go on another streak now? 5. What kind of sponsorship deals have you been working on for your player? 6. It's Mexico City Kings game night and it's your turn to choose the game. What are we playing?

ESPN.MX - The Mexico City Kings are enjoying an amazing run of form as they approach the midway point of the season. With 12 wins in a row, they have charged up to 1st place in the standings and are aiming to solidify themselves at the top of the table. Some unsung heroes have been in the spotlight recently for Mexico. Magnus Verlander (@Jbeezy76) has been phenomenal on the top line, recently scoring his 1st career hat trick to prove he is the right man to be on that top line. Liam Fishcl (@linsangeles) has been another great player for the Kings over the course of this season. With 24 points in 28 games from the 3rd line he has added some much needed depth scoring that has been instrumental to Mexico's success. Kevin Wu (@kevinscix) has been an absolute stud on defence as well, with 42 blocked shots and 31 points he has been a force on both ends of the ice. If things continue to go this way, the Kings will certainly be challenging for 1st overall at the end of the season and will be hoping for a deep playoff run to go along with that.

Mexico City Kings Press Conference Tied for 1st overall edition! 1. What are your thoughts on how Mexico City has performed so far this season? 2. Who do you think has been an unsung hero for us? 3. Are you happy with your performance overall so far? 4. We are on a 4 game win streak as of right now. Do you think we can keep it going? 5. Do you think Philadelphia will be our toughest rival all season? 6. If it was your turn to choose the restaurant for a team dinner, where would you take us?

ESPN.SE - The Nighthawks have stumbled out of the starting blocks this season with a mediocre 5-5-0 record. The excitement of a huge off-season trade has faded and now there are questions about Malmo's possibilities of even making the playoffs this season. However, there is light at the end of the tunnel for the Nighthawks, as they are now on a 4 game win streak after starting the season with an abysmal 1-5-0 record. One player that will be crucial to the Nighthawks success will be Assistant Captain, Chris Hylands. We asked him about Malmo's start to the season and how the team has been affected by it. "Well we had a slow start to the season there. I think we were just trying to find that chemistry we had last season after the big trade to pick up Sasakamoose. I have no doubts we're gonna be able to hit that same level of play that we were at last season." Perhaps the Nighthawks have just been unlucky so far. After all, of their five losses, only one of them was by more than a single goal margin, and even that was only a two goal loss. If their offense manages finds their scoring touch, Malmo will surely be a contender to take the extremely competitive European Conference. However, the games are coming thick and fast, so they better hope for a quick turnaround before they find themselves crawling out of a hole that is too deep.
