Hi my name in Mr. James Jameson and I am sitting here with Riley Knight Gee to ask him a couple question about his upcoming rookie season with the Prague Phantoms of the VHL. JJ: How do you feel about yourself and your team for the upcoming season? I'm honestly feeling pretty good about it, its exciting to be in a new country and team. Training camp went well and I've gotten to know them pretty good and I'm sure ill have a good season to come. Not too worried about having a slow season the VHL has a lot more competition to go against then the M and it took my a couple seasons down there to shine. JJ: What do you hope to do in this season: I wanna be able to pull my own weight on the team and not be a liability on the ice, I want to play hard and score, defend against the masses, and hopefully put up some decent number. I still have a lot too learn and I'm with the help of coaches and team mates, especially Cinnamon Block that ill be able to grow out my game and be a top defender. JJ: With seven games into the season already how do you think you have done so far? Well so far two goals and 4 assist which I don't think is that bad, It is still the start of a 72 game season and you never know what could happen. But so far I feel like I'm playing my own game and team wise pretty good. It's been a pretty good start for myself but as a team we are 3 win 4 losses, its alright like I said its the start of the season and as time goes on we'll get a better as a team and hopefully make the play offs. JJ: Was their a VHL team you were hoping to get drafted by or was it Prague? It didn't matter who drafted me personally but I'm glad to be drafted by DA to Prague, I wanna be a reason this team will make playoffs and a be a contender whether it be this season or the next, this team will help me grow and i wanna give back by showing them we can win JJ: And with the final question I've got to ask, who do you hope to be for this organization? Like I said earlier, I wanna be a reason this team wins. I want to be a great team mate to these guys, i don't wanna disappoint any of them especially DA who traded a couple picks to draft me when I was falling down the list. I'd like to be with this franchise my career if I can.

The VHLM season awards have finally been announced, I've been announced as the Ethan Osborne trophy for leading the league in points with 140 total, Vladimir Boomchenko trophy for having the most assists in the season, winner of the Top defenseman Ryan Sullivan award, and sharing the Regular season MVP Mitch Higgins award with John Poremba. When I first decided to stay down this season it was mainly for the reason Houston could more then likely make the play offs, but as season went Rj signed more and more players that could and eventually would make the team great. Doing as good as I did during the season and winning these trophys is way more then I thought and hoped would happen, I couldn't have hoped for a better team then this for getting me here and even though we lost in the second round I got what I wanted out of staying in the vhlm and happy about it and going into Prague next season i can only try my hardest to have the same success this season into the next. I'm excited for the season with Prague and can't wait for it to come.

The s73 season of the VHLM has ended and the playoffs are about too start, I ended the season at 140 points with 36 goals and 104 assist which is just crazy too me. After my first two seasons with the bulls I didn't think i would have the jump that I had in terms of point production, I definitely had an explosive start at the start of the season which got me the huge lead in points along with the power play being a strong factor in how Houston won our games and out of 36 of my goals 21 of them were on the power play, just one being team mate Christian Mingle who had 22. I definitely slowed down as the season went on but by that time plenty of others kept going or started finding there game, along on the defense Schauer ended up with was second in points for defense men with 109, 24 goals and 85 assists and to me was the on of the biggest factors towards the end of the season in us placing first in our conference and second in the league. Being first in our division we will be playing Saskatoon and with two games already finished before i started typing they are down 2-0. Going into the play offs we should be able to make the finals and if i had to guess it will be against Miami, but up to that point it will be battle to be fought. The team is full with great players that can get the job done and i know we can do it

With 13 games remains in the season I am happy with how the season has played out with my own and team play, even with the couple losses that are being handed to us near the end.I have 15 points ahead of the next person in the points board and and 33 points ahead of the next defenseman, points wise I’ve been a monster but I haven’t been the most reliable in our own zone leaving most of the work up to our goalie and thankfully he’s been able to get the job done. My hope by the end of the regular season is I’ll still be points leader and for post season we’ll reach the finals and hopefully win the cup. The VHLM finals are only a dozen games away and it’s gonna be quite exciting too see who wins it all, I personally don’t believe there is a clear favourite as all the top teams are talented and competitive, along with that there could always be upsets in any of the rounds. My hope is that I will be one of the leaders in the team that makes and helps us get I to finals and win it all.

This week the World Juniors Competition is starting and I've been selected for the team along with old Houston team mates James Rose, Jer Lefebvre, and future team mate Andre LeBastard. I am honestly quite excited for it to face old and new Houston players, the competitive nature of the tournament is something i look forward too, their are lots of great player in the teams and i can't wait for it to get started already. I am not sure how the tournament will go as all team look quite good but i know all of Canada and myself will go out there and try our hardest to get the gold medal and prove we are the best. In terms of my gameplay I can only go out there and play to the best of my ability, try my best to not be a liability on the blue line and be the x-factor on the blue line which gives us the lead, or to hold it down in our own end. World juniors is here and I am ready to give it my all, motivated to win the tournament for my home country and for myself.

Personally the game against San Diego Marlins will go down as one of my favorite if not the most right beside Houston vs Miami where we managed to win three-two with only nine shots compared too Miami's thirty-four, but this game will hold a special place because this game I scored four goals in one game, two of goals in the first five minutes of the second period on powerplays, and the third a couple minutes after the halfway mark of the period also on the power play, but too me the best one was the fourth goal if mainly its the first time in my VHLM career I scored four goals in a game. Not only was this game an eye opener to me as I feel like this is the championship team I've been waiting for, but also put fear into the other teams that if they make the mistake of a stupid penalty it will cost them dearly. The Houston Bulls are a top team and this is the best I've felt in my three seasons and I can't wait to show the players and the GMs of the league of what level I can play too. (200 words)

Now I’ll be honest, Beatrice wasn’t the one to contact me as I constantly emailed them at the start of my VLHM career and the pitch that finally got them to reply to my email was ‘dairyland fucking sucks’. “ the first thing I do when I wake up is go to my fridge and drink chocolate milk, I drink it before I leave the house, before and after training, even before every game and after every game, it’s the first thing I drink before I go to sleep. Your delicious drink is what keeps me going, even before hockey, it’s the only other love of my life and I treasure every sip I take of it, every inhale is savoured before the fresh chocolaty goodness is swallowed. Chocolate milk is my life and I would be honoured if you would if you would sponsor me and just pay me in a life time of chocolate milk.” I’ll be honest, all of that wasn’t what got me the sponsorship all they cared about was the headline of the email, and the fact I’d rather get payed in chocolate milk than money, but they also seen the free exposure into the VHL. So to end this message, and most likely every other interview, message and game as according to contract dairyland chocolate milk sucks.
