  1. Just seeing this now, but I really like this article, specifically the fact that you're including last seasons predictions as well. I've always wanted to do a special "once per season article", might have to snag this idea, even though I'm not a GM. I hope you continue doing these, good read, and good luck to the Wranglers!

  3. For sure I agree. With Seattle getting an NHL team next year, every NA VHL city also has an NHL team. (Considering D.C = Washington) It's not a bad thing per se, but like, Davos has a population of 12k, why hasn't a smaller city gotten an NA big league team? I guess since the VHLM kind of has that covered? But not really, they're all relatively big. Exponential Expansion!
  4. I do agree that a French-Canadian team should be on the to do list, however am I the only one who wants some different NA cities that don't have an NHL team? (much like @IamMOOSE said.) We're not banking on ticket receipts here, just in my opinion, I'm a big fan of the VHL teams not in NHL cities, mainly why I like the EU so much haha. I'm on the Kansas City hype train.
  5. I'll bite on this one too. F - Ola Vikingstad @Abe Roque
  6. LET'S GO! So many good people on this team, happy I'm not the one who has to choose just 3 of them to wear letters. Happy to represent this club once again by donning the C! Congrats to Grach and Dear on their A's, and LETS WIN A CUP

  10. Solid job here. For your player cutout, I suggest using a website like remove.bg, which will give you better results and remove the white outline from the player. I think the text goes along well with the "Wild" theme, however the background would be cooler in my opinion if you added some stripes or something, maybe along the lines of the arm stripes on the player? Nonetheless, keep at it, as they say, practice makes perfect. 6/10
  11. The cut is nice, jersey and logo swap is done very well, looks pretty much perfect on that front. While I do like the text choices for both the first and last names, I have to echo the above comment in saying they it is a little awkward looking - especially using the light theme - for the text to cut off like that. While I would like to see some more going on in the background, the background you did use at least fills in the empty space by not being just a solid colour. Overall, I would be happy with this. Hopefully Tonn can bring MOS to the promised land. 8.35/10
  12. NEW YORK AMERICANS PRESS CONFERENCE Week Ending 01/24 1. The season starts this week! HYPE! Who will score NYA's 1st goal of Season 76? 2. Do you or your player have a nickname? What is it? 3. If you won the lottery, what would be your first purchase? 4. What is your favourite part of the VHL? 5. When you're in a rush in the morning, what is your go to quick breakfast? 6. Do you follow the NFL? If so, who is your prediction to win the Super Bowl?

  14. Congrats to all the winners, great job done by all for another successful tourney!
  15. Dakota Lamb, entering his 3rd VHL season, and 4th season post-draft, is pretty happy with his career up to this point. A rookie of the year award, and two VHL seasons with point totals totaling above 70. However, this article is less about the on-ice product that Lamb provides, and more about off of it. Coming into the VHL as a rookie, Lamb had no idea what to expect. Never usually being the "go-to" guy, on and off the ice, he had a feeling it would be different on Warsaw, especially due to the fact that the franchise was brand new, without a culture, history, or leadership group. That was exactly the case. Lamb found himself being the one leading the charge, whether it be on the ice with his 90 points, or off of it, in the locker room, rallying the troops, keeping the morale high in a not-so-memorable S74 Warsaw Predators season. Obviously, management took note of what Lamb was doing, leading to him being named the 1st team Captain in franchise history. Even dating back to youth hockey, Lamb was a quiet guy, and was always overshadowed on all of his teams, usually getting used to sporting the "A" on his chest, instead of the "C". But something is different in Warsaw. Lamb does not know what it is about the team, maybe it is the expansion team part, or just the great group of teammates in Warsaw, this group brings out the best (and loudest) part of him. Even after veterans brought in like Dagmar Havlova and Latrell Mitchell to help create a winning culture within the team, Lamb wears the C with pride knowing he is the leader of this team. He wants every Warsaw Predator, new or old, to feel welcomed and engaged into the system. He is anything but a tyrant in the locker room. The C is not something you hold above everyone's head, rather a tool you can use to spread the positivity to your teammates, during the good times, and unfortunately, the bad. Even if Warsaw is not the best team in the league, Lamb says "I want each and every one of our players to feel like they belong here. There is nothing worse than a divided locker room, which I have definitely been a part of in my life before. Thus far, our Warsaw room has been full of positivity, and I hope to keep growing that. Morale is a huge thing for me, both on and off the ice." This team is only going to get better, from here on out. With a brand spankin' new 1+1 contract signed, Lamb knows this is the time to win, and if you aren't here for it, then someone else needs to be that is. GO PREDS GO (468 Words)
  16. Happy to be back. I had my heart set on hitting FA, wanted to at least do my due diligence to see what was out there. I'd like to thank every team that approached me, specifically @Enorama, @McWolf, and @Banackock. I know I wasn't the easiest to deal with these last 36 hours or so, because honestly, even I didn't know what I was doing. Thank you for being patient and kind with me, and nothing against your teams at all. Me and Muff sat down and had a chat, and I just had to stay that the team that originally took a chance on me. There is work to be done in Warsaw, and I am here for it. Again, thanks to every GM that contacted me. Cheers. and... GO PREDS!
  17. Make VHL Free Agency Frenzy a thing, we need more publicity!

On that note... where do I sign?

  18. Thank you for another great award ceremony! Congrats to all the winners, as well as those who were nominated.
  19. LMFAO, I've been asked twice about this now already. For anyone wondering, this is not me, this is Jack Studnicka
  20. Warsaw, Poland - Warsaw Predators Centreman Dakota Lamb joined a ZOOM call with us here at Szczęście Sports Network to discuss his career plans. Unbeknownst to us, he seemed very prepared for this, reciting a planned letter, which can be found below.
