osens got a reaction from dlamb in Interview with Miami Marauders young star Dakota Lamb
Miami Marauders have been really successful with their prospect pool and one of the golden tickets of last VHLM draft was Dakota Lamb. He has been a monster on ice, he is one of the best players on the ice and he has not even fulfilled his potential. We have gotten Dakota Lamb and asked some interesting questions to him, to get to know youngster from Canada a little bit more.

You have been a huge star in VHLM this season, being very successful in your first season in newly made team Miami Marauders. You seem very polished as a player, where would you like to improve more, to be even better?

Yeah, I pride myself on my all-around play. I'd like for teams to be afraid of me in both the offensive and defensive zone. My offensive stats are right where I want them to be, so I am looking to improve more in the d zone, starting off with my faceoffs, puck handling, and passing as soon as possible.

You have seen yourself thrown all-around in lines but you always get a lot of points. Who are your most favorite teammates to play with?

Wherever my team needs me, I am more than happy to play. I don't care that much about production, but of course, it's nice. Whatever is best for the team is where I like to play, but it's always a little sweeter to hop over the boards with my friends.

There have been a lot of allegations for your teammate Oh Sens and his illegal activities, do you have something to say on these matters?

As long as Oh Sens isn't getting into too much trouble with both the league and the law, he can do what he wants. I worry about that kid, he's a riot, but I'm afraid he's headed down a dark path. I'm sure he is responsible enough to know what he's getting into.

A lot of young players has got a legend, that they look up to, do you have your favorite player, that you look up to and why exactly that player? Maybe you are trying to shape your play like him?

As a kid, and even into my junior career, I always looked up to Patrice Bergeron. Even though he is a rightie and I'm a leftie, I try my hardest to model myself after him, both on and off the ice. Just the two-way dominance he shows, plus the absolute class he has at all times is something I strive to be.

Your team has been marketing a line of you, Florent Vericel and Oh Sens as ''Kids'', and you all should be pretty good friends off the ice. Would you be willing to bring this line to VHL too or is it only Miami thing?

I would love that if we could carry that over to the VHL. As unlikely as it is, we could carry the chemistry we have and continue to produce. If VHL GMs are reading this, make it happen.

Lately, you have spoken out about the stolen opportunity to be a part of WJC this year. Is there any way you would change the World Junior Championship format, so anything like this doesn't happen again?

There are always going to be good players left off of the World Junior Championship teams. There's not much you can change there. It sucks for sure, but all you can really do is make those World Junior Championship GMs look silly for not taking you.

In the junior leagues, there are a lot of talents and great players with massive potential. But sometimes players don't work too hard and they don't become the best version of themselves. Who is the hardest working player on your team and do you think you work hard enough to complete your VHL dream?

Well, first of all, I just have to applaud management. Miami management has made most of us, myself included, the best version of ourselves. Shoutout to Ricer and BigAL for that. Players-wise, I'll give a shoutout to Oh Sens, Andre LeBastard, and Kosmo Kramerev. These guys have been core and star players for us, leading the way in the locker room, showing us what work ethic we should strive to have. Personally, I have been trying my absolute hardest to raise my VHL draft stock. I want to be a star in every league I'm in, and I will do almost anything to achieve that goal. So yes, I think I do.
Thank you for the interview Mr. Lamb.

Dakota Lamb has been a household name in this season and teams doing scouting report on Miami Marauders always put huge exclamation mark next to Lamb name because he is one of the most dangerous players on the ice right now and I am not talking about only VHLM, I think Dakota Lamb would be really dangerous in VHL too and he is a player, which you could always love. He has his story of being underappreciated and Dakota is the perfect underdog story. He didn't make World Juniors Championship, but he will bounce back and if he is going to perform like this next year, he will definitely get in next year. Miami Marauders has got all assets to contend really and with Dakota Lamb in front, the future is bright.

The young player from Canada, Dakota Lamb has got a lot of room still to grow, but he is looking really promising and people will be talking about him years to come. With the right workload and correct people, Lamb is destined for greatness. No one can predict how good can Lamb look when he is getting the VHL team's resources in training and world-class coaches but if he is looking scary already, he will be a terminator in few years.  Dakota Lamb said that he tries to shape his game like Patrice Bergeron, but if he keeps up his training, he could be like him but only a hundred times scarier than Bergeron ever was.

    The VHLM’s Newest Community:
    The Miami Marauders

    By: bigAL, MIA AGM

Ahead of S72, the VHLM expanded to include a new franchise. The Miami Marauders joined at the same time as an influx of new members, and the new team offered first-time GM Krice a unique opportunity.

“The sim hockey is fun and all, but what keeps me [in the VHL] is the fun of being in a really active team locker room,” says Krice when asked what keeps him here in the league.

“And so,” he explained, “in my first GM assignment, I wanted to build a strong locker room.”

Krice and bigAL both believe that teams in the VHLM serve an important purpose on the overall league structure. These teams are our new members’ first contact with the league, and so it is vitally important that this first contact happens in a way that encourages members to return. With friendly people, friendly policies, and a few ringers brought in from other teams, Miami sought to be the most successful locker room in S72.

Expansion teams are designed to be unsuccessful on the ice in their first season. Without a dispersal draft, the Marauders were without a drafted player prior to the S72 draft. Without the year-over-year depth production ready yet, Krice sold off his high draft picks and built with an eye for the future.

Without a chance to compete this season, Krice approached the draft with a focus on acquiring players who are strong community members. The Miami draft board was not ranked by TPE, or by how many times a player had been recreated. Instead, the GM and AGM ranked their preferred players by forum activity and general enthusiasm for the VHL.

A lot of these players are eligible for the VHL draft this upcoming season. You don’t often get to see their LR contributions, so allow me to provide the league with a scouting update. I’m going to revisit the inaugural Miami Marauders draft class, highlighting their on and off ice skills, and assess their potential as VHLers.

    Andre LeBastard (C)

    Andre Lebastard

    13-26—39 (42 GP)

    S73 Draft eligible

Andre is the heart and soul of our team. He was voted by his peers to be the first captain of the Miami Marauders, and he has surpassed all expectations. Andre makes a concerted effort to engage with each and every member of our team on Discord. He’s active in a variety of timeslots, because of his upside down Australian time. Andre can help you and your team start your day off with a smile, or go to bed on a high note with a goofy joke. He almost always reaches his weekly TPE cap, and will continue to be more a successful journalist as his Shite Sports Network brand takes off. Andre will bring his fiery passion for winning and his unparalleled sense of humour to any VHL locker room.

    26 – D

    Kosmo Kramerev

    Mongoose87

    19-42—61

    S73 Draft eligible

You might know Mongoose as the guy who makes the excellent Seinfeld graphics. His player, Kosmo Kramerev, makes it even clearer that he’s a huge Seinfeld fan. Mongoose is a huge add to any locker room, even if you don’t know Seinfeld. He’s always around the discord and on top of league affairs. Mongoose is a calm, cool, and collected guy who doesn’t get sucked into the internet controversy of the day, and does his best to put the team first. On the ice, Kramerev has been tearing it up. He’s 7th in defence scoring, putting up a ridiculous 61 points on a team that might not get 61 points all season. Miami drafted Kramerev with a high pick, and a VHL team should too.

    29 – D

    Wolf Stansson

    ahockeyguy

    18-27—45

    S73 Draft eligible

Wolf Stansson is another player the experts might have called a ‘reach’ at the draft, but the Marauders are very happy with Stansson through the first half of the season. In the locker room, Wolf is our local intellectual. Wolf is deep and thoughtful in the conversations he starts, whether they are big thinkers like “what IS a chair?” or when he’s coordinating interviews with his fellow players. Stansson is a caring, compassionate, and team-focused member of our new community. On the ice, Wolf has been attached to Kramerev’s hip all season. While Wolf hasn’t reached the offensive ceiling Kramerev has, Stansson is still producing at more than a point a game. In the S72 draft, Miami got Stansson at #29; in the S73 VHL draft, Wolf shouldn’t be on the board by the time pick #29 comes around.

    37 – RW

    Bobbie Cheechoo

    Sharkie

    13-13—26

    S73 Draft eligible

Bobbie Cheechoo started the year off quite strong. He was the first big ‘graphics guy’ Miami drafted in S72. As a California dude, Sharkie is active in those prime PST time zones. In recent weeks, Cheechoo has scaled back his commitment to the VHL and has been less responsive in the locker room. Sharkie is still active on the forums: in each of the last two weeks, Sharkie has earned 14 or 15 TPE. Cheechoo is definitely a player worth taking a late-round flyer on in the S73 draft.

    42 – G

    Bacon

    Bacon

    13 W, 0.869, 3.96 GAA, 1 SO

    NY Americans (S72)

Bacon bacon bacon. This greasy goaler is a really fun person to have around in the locker room. He’s keeping the team in games on the ice, and is an active and engaged member of the community. Bacon loves to get in on the jokes and goofy bits, but also is able to take a stand when the team is slighted. His passion for the league and connection with his team will be a big asset for the Americans in S74. On the ice, Bacon’s strong play earned him a spot on Team Asia’s WJC team. Fatigue has not been a problem in the season so far, but Bacon has started every single one of the Marauders’ S72 games.

    49 – C

    Dakota Lamb

    dlamb

    22-30—52

    S73 Draft eligible

    52 – RW

    Oh Sens

    osens

    11-18—29

    S73 Draft Eligible

Much like Brennan and Dale, dlamb and osens are a package deal. Miami was very excited to pick up both boys in close proximity in the fourth round. Knowing Dakota and OhSens like we do now, it was an absolute steal getting these two as late as we did. Both dlamb and osens are a lot of fun to have in a LR: osens is legendary for his high-effort/low-quality graphics and his borderline terrifying off-ice hijinks; dlamb runs the night shift in the LR and keeps everyone highly entertained until 5am EST. Dlamb has to be commended for his leadership skills in LR management, conflict resolution, and sim hockey intellect – he is applying for a variety of league management and staff jobs, and will likely be a leader in the VHL for many seasons to come. Both these two players are worth an early pick for any VHL franchise looking for a scoring centre, a physical winger, or two fun-loving goofballs in the LR.

     ***
The seven players listed above represent all Miami draft picks from the first to fourth rounds. The Marauders have hit on 95% of their high picks from the S72 draft. No players drafted in the fifth round or beyond became active enough to warrant interest for the S73 VHL draft.

Since the S72 draft, the Marauders have signed two players from waivers:

    Rocket (90 TPE LW): 8-7—15, S73 VHL(M) Draft Eligible

Florent Vericel (119 TPE LW): 8-12—20, S73 VHL(M) Draft Eligible

Both Rocket and Vericel had friends on Miami already, and have integrated into the team locker room perfectly, and both would be positive additions to any VHL or VHLM franchise.

    ***
Miami built its draft board based on community participation, enthusiasm for the league, and overall dedication to the cause. Other managers might be looking at TPE, or goals/assists, but I want the VHL scouts to know that each and everyone one of these characters is a good person, a great teammate, and an excellent addition to your big-league team.

If you have any further questions about any of our players, feel free to join our discord locker room or message the management team.

    Happy theme week!

As the AGM and general counsel to Mr Oh Sens @osens the young hockey player from Japan, I highly advise against posting such false and accusational statements like this.

The Miami Marauders may be "looking into" "suing" this "journalistic" "organization" for "libel" in the "near" "future".

And even if it was true, which it isn't, but if it was true, I would applaud Mr oH Sens the young hockey player from Japan for his entrepreneurial thinking, mastery of business skills, and flawless ability to launder money.

Lately Miami Marauders forward Oh Sens from Japan has been all over the news. At first, he got in an argument with fellow drug dealers in Miami. After that, Oh Sens started a fight with one Minnesota fan, who screamed offensive things to him. And now he is being accused of being a drug lord. It has been a busy few months for this young man. Recently one local journalist has been involved in a battle with Sens about his real deal. This journalist went to his coffee shop on a tour and found some questionable things that need some explaining. We wanted to get both sides of the story, but we couldn't reach Oh Sens, so we had a short interview with this journalist from Miami.

Hello, you have lately accused young hockey player from Japan with serious accusations. Don't you think it is too much?
Too much? Excuse me, but we can't have drug dealing players play in Miami or anywhere in the world. His place is in jail. In my personal opinion, the league should suspend him, because I have hard proof of his illegal activities.
What hard proof do you have? Would you be able to share this information with us, so the rest of the world would hear about this?
I have security footage of my interactions with Mr. Sens. I secretly recorded sound and my husband hacked into his cameras and got some footage. I'm not gonna hide any information from people. That's why I am here tonight, doing the interview. I have uploaded a video on youtube, where everything is seen about Oh Sens actions. Open this link and you will learn everything about this man!
You speak loud words, but what if this evidence is fake and you are accusing Oh Sens of something he hasn't done?
This is not fake and you can see in the video, that everything is real. Sound is fully recorded by myself on my phone when we talked with him. I will give this evidence to the police and I believe, that they will do the right thing and detain this man!
I would like to say thank you for your time and interview and good luck in your fight against drug crime!

This journalist certainly has got some big facts to back the claim. We watched this video and it is hard to say if this video is fake. We are not experts at this, so we will not say anything but it is really interesting what is happening in Miami. At VHLM contracts are not really good and I wouldn't be surprised if a few youngsters would try to get money in different ways. We don't think this is the real way for money to get earned. If this is real, what is happening, police and league should step in right now and get to the bottom of this thing, while VHLM doesn't get in even bigger trouble. Hopefully, soon we will be getting Oh Sens side of the story and we will have more clarity in this drama.

osens got a reaction from bigAL in Miami Marauders Press Conference
    1.   We’re about a month into the VHLM season now. What has been your favourite game to play in so far?
I am gonna be honest, our team haven't had a lot of great games this season, but it is okay, because all of my favourite games will be coming next season.

    2.   The drama off the ice in Miami is likely more compelling than the action on the ice this season, with all the assault, tomfoolery, and general mischief involving some or all of our team’s players. Which storyline(s) are you enjoying or following most?
Of course I like to choose Oh Sens drama, where he is right into mix of Miami culture and he is feeling really well in Miami.

    3.   Have you heard that the World Junior Championship (WJC) is coming up this summer? It’s a seasonal tournament that features the best VHL prospects up to 300 TPE. Which of the WJC five teams will you be cheering for: America, Asia, Canada, Europe, or World?
I will have to definitely support my boys in Asia. I certainly hope I can get in that team too.

    4.   Who from our team should make the roster of their WJC team, and why?
I would say Dakota Lamb, because he is tearing up enemy goalies.

    5.   What’s your favourite TPE task to do? Why?
I would say media, because I like to create a story for my player.

    6.   What makes you get hyped up about simulation hockey?
It's how unpredictable it is. You can have really bad teams in previous season go to champions in next season.

I do sincerely hope that the league and the Miami Marauders GM Ricer decides to not take take action against his player at this time and that they will stick to a verbal warning.
I do appreciate the Oh Sens reached out to me following the incident and his polite gesture. Thankfully he didn't break much of value and as such we kindly turned down his offer to replace the broken equipment.
As for the fan in question, he was identified as a Oslo Storm sympathizer who had bought tickets to try to trash our current fans good name by making a scene. We had him removed from the arena after the incident and he has since been banned for life from entering any property owned by the Minnesota Storm and the team has also filed a restraining order in hopes to keep him away from away games as well."

Oh Sens has sent VHL.com his public apology, after his outburst at the game, between Miami and Minnesota.

Only picture of the fight against Minnesota fan.

I would like to apologize to everyone living in Miami, that I couldn't control myself and got into a fight with that idiot. I had some time to think what I did was wrong and I will never do that again. I learned a lot of things in anger management classes. Miami Marauders have been really supportive of me and they have even hired a personal psychiatrist. I don't have to leave the practice area to go to these classes. I would also like to say sorry to the Minnesota organization. What I did was really unacceptable and I endangered everyone in attendance.  I have already reached out to Minnesota general manager and apologized to him. I offered to pay back the damages, but they were really friendly and I won't need to pay anything for my actions. I wouldn't like to apologize to that s**head that said those offensive things about me and my family. I am not sure that I want to share the details of said, but it wasn't anything nice. I can only say that he is a racist idiot, and he won't succeed in life. Only thing I want to say to him that I am challenging him to a boxing fight, to determine who is the strongest. I will be waiting for your answer!

Oh Sens has expressed his mind and it is certainly interesting, what he has to say.  Could we see a hockey player go in a ring? We will be keeping up with this story.

Oh Sens lately has been an often guest on news channels. He was involved in a fight with Minnesota fan and Oh was associated with narcotic dealers.  This time Oh Sens is trying to get better andwants to bring something to the people of Miami. After his first paycheck, Sens has purchased an old coffee company.

Together with his family, Oh Sens will be sponsoring this family business and they will be making a different kind of coffees. Right now, they are focusing on making the first shop by the arena in Miami. Sens understands, that he has been a pain in the ass for everyone in Miami, but he will be trying his best to repay this wonderful city. There have been some rumors, that are saying Oh Sens is laundering his drug money in this company and actually Sens is a drug dealer. These talks have mostly been fabricated by haters online, but it is still interesting where does this information comes from. Today Sens will be showing us around this coffee shop and we will make sure, that Sens is not a drug dealer, but he is a real businessman.

Sens started his tour by giving all journalists a cup of latte, that his shop is making. And I can't lie, it was magnificent. I don't know what could Oh Sens is putting in these coffees, but it is awesome.  His shop is against ''Big Sausage Arena''. I would guess Sens popularity will be a nice bonus for the shop. Sens continued to bring the rest of the journalists behind the counter and see, how are all coffee beans sorted, for this incredible coffee.  He said that this is where the cocaine gets packed, but obviously, he was joking.  He introduced his family. If Sens could just say a few words in English and he always needs a translator with him, then his family can't say anything in English. They just said Konichua, and we went on with our tour.  It was looking like a normal coffee shop and we were able to see with our own eyes, that it is all real and no money laundering is not happening in this house. While Sens and his translator were trying to get everyone out of his kitchen, I snooped around the corner, and there was one door, that Sens didn't show us. I quickly opened that door and I saw a lot of white powder. I immediately called out Sens and asked, what was this. He tried to tell us, that it was sugar, but it was not. I quickly took pictures of it and Oh Sens rudely kicked us out of his coffee shop. I guess we found out the truth about the dark side of Sens.

After this trip around Sens ''coffee shop'', I immediately filed a police report on this shop and Oh Sens about abuse. Police still hasn't called me back and in Miami, it is widely known that police are easy to bribe and I think Miami Marauders have paid off the police, to take no action on Oh Sens. But this will not stop here! We can't have drug lords playing in VHLM!

Oh Sens, Miami Marauders sniper, got into a fight with one of the fans, that was watching Minnesota - Miami game.

Sens was furious after the game, after one fan of Minnesota taunted Oh Sens about him not scoring any goals or points, after getting hyped. Oh Sens then quickly went up the stairs to fan and attacked him, and even knocked him out. After some brawling, Sens and fan were seperated and Oh Sens wrote a police report on this fan for attacking him verbaly.

The league haven't given out their statement, but Miami has said that they will have serious talk with Oh Sens about his attitude at the game and he could be looking at a fine about his actions, but nothing is official. Miami has also said, that they will not be sitting Sens out for some games, of course, if VHLM doesn't decide to suspend Sens for some games.

Close source to us, has said that VHLM are not thinking of giving suspension, but they will probably give a big fine to Miami and Sens for his actions. There have been talks, that Sens will have to see anger managment classes.

osens got a reaction from Ricer13 in Oh Sens Miami FunDay
Oh Sens is a Japanese player, who got drafted this offseason by Miami Marauders. He was drafted Round 5 and was talked about, in terms of being steal.

Oh Sens watched draft in his house, from Tokyo, because of this situation in world. He grabbed his snacks, and draft started at 9 am in Tokyo. Last night Oh Sens couldn't sleep, because of stress. He thought, he would get picked in first two rounds, but two rounds are finished, and Sens is still on board. 3rd round done and he is still not picked. After 4th round Sens went back to sleep furious and he woke up to his family screams, when they congratulated him on getting picked my Minnesota. Sens was furious, because he wanted to go live in sunny Miami and then he checked out draft online, he was actually picked by Miami, but his family English was not very good, they thought Miami was Minnesota, but in the end Sens was picked by the right team.

After about 2 hours Sens received a phone call from GM of Miami Marauders, he congrulated Sens on getting picked and he talked about more stuff, Sens really didn't know what he was talking about, he just said yes and he got email with plane tickets. He hopped on plane to Miami and met with General Manager. This time he got translater and they were able to talk. GM said, that he has already bought a flat for him and he can move in right now, but after that Sens has to go sign contract. Oh thought - sure, he will quickly pack out and he will continue his ways.  He got in his flat by the beach and his view was spectacular. Translater was still with him and they went outside. Outside of hotel he was met by 3 big men. They said follow, follow, so Sens just followed them, because he thought that he will be able to see some more of city. They walked few streets to north and they went inside of one house. They went inside and he quickly understood what was going on. There was a lot of white powder and they were offering Sens to buy. Oh Sens did a full 180 and ran outside of the house and back to hotel, and he left his translator there with those men. Nobody still haven't heard, what happened to that guy. Miami owner hired new translator and they moved on to sign contract. Contract signing went peacefully. This time Sens was given his personal assistant, so he wouldn't get involved with drug dealers or any other problems. They went around city to watch some objects. Assistant had to take some calls so Sens went on his own. He got to the beach and went for a swim. In front of him, there was a sign, which said, that nobody should swim there, because of sharks, but Sens couldn't read English, so he went for a nice swim. When his assistant had seen, what Oh Sens was doing, he sprinted like Usain Bolt and screamed his lungs out for Sens to get out of water and not get killed by Sharks. Sens quickly got out and they decided that it was probably good for them to go back to his flat and he should spend more time there, then outside. Season is starting and hopefully Sens doesn't get in more trouble.

Oh Sens is a fast sniper, who comes from Japan. He is born in Tokyo, his father also was a hockey player, but not very good. Sens was dominating youth league's, he set various junior records in Japan, like most goals in one season, most points and most shots in one season. He was truly spectacular and then Sens went overseas to Canada to play in WHL.

He joined Portland Winterhawks and he was being played in 1st line. Start was pretty rocky, because this was new country and Sens didn't know very well English, but he still was the best sniper in team. After the season Sens was getting homesick and it was questionable, if he will be able to stay in North America to continue his profesional career, but his family moved to Canada and he changed his team to Kelowna Rockets, because the head coach was pretty good friend to Sens father and Sens was already improved.

He was the lead scorer and most points in the team and he looked like a fish in water on ice. He gained scouts interese and one of the best scouts of VHL said of Sens - He has a shot, that is like rocket, also he can play a good defense game and he could be pretty valuable playmaker. Sens could turn out to become really good player for VHL but first VHLM.

End of the season was really rough for Sens. He had a lot of knee problems and he wasn't playing in playoffs. People were questioning, if he is getting these injuries already, what would it mean in the future, but Sens decided that he will not stay more seasons in juniors, because he thought he was ready for a chance at VHL, so he registered for VHLM draft.

In the middle of season Sens was projected to be confirmed 1st round pick and even top pick but after horrible finish to season, scouts were saying, that he could even not get picked. But Sens hoped, that he will get his chance to prove everyone, what he can do and there was one team, that pulled a shot on Sens. It was Miami Marauders, they picked Sens after when they picked Sens juniours friend - Lamb, so Sens was really excited, for a chance to play with his friend. Although, he was picked in 5th round, he is high risk, huge award player and Miami hasn't lost anything.

Right now 2 games has been played in VHLM and he has not scored or made assist. Maybe he was a bust? Who knows, but main thing is, that whole career is in front of this young man.
