I mean no, it doesn’t. We still have to put the updates in but because of advances we made with the portal it’s a process that can be done daily in about 2 minutes. So technically it doesn’t t update itself but it’s way faster. Pretty sure you could before you left as well. I’ve always preferred it to the split cap but don’t think that was something I introduced as a blue. We just made it easier to hit with more options. I mean that still happens. @Bushito famously claimed for ages before he went inactive that he preferred forum updating. Very wrong of course but still. Anywho, welcome back, it’s been too long.

You underestimate how desperate we were because all you’ve known is a VHL where twice as many people want GM jobs as their are jobs. Forget every team hiring an AGM, we couldn’t even get enough people to want GM jobs. Hell Anderson was in charge of Cologne for a bit.

Yeah people were asking for this at the time but going through a full career cycle with them now I don’t care for it either. Makes me completely forget about them instead of likely forgetting about them. It wasn’t. Bios need to be done at the end of a career (as makes sense since why would you biography a rookie) and the S70 class is the first one with the new rules so no one has hit the new bio yet. It’s still there. Guidelines can be found here and if I recall (though I’d need to go digging) the TPE for it might carry over to full to have more effect. I know that was the intention but not sure it survived. I feel like I we were doing that, at least for awhile. Goalies have kinda always regulated themselves by the simple fact that the math doesn’t account for activity. Not all of those numbers remain active and even fewer remain active enough to be in a starting role. It’s possible that self regulation isn’t doing enough these days but it has always worked itself out.

First time in I think 20 games that we didn't get at least a point. Oh well, 1-1 is still fine, we're still in first, and I still had 3 points. Not much to complain about.

Was coming in here to see if anyone mentioned Serial. Season 3 was a bit meh (the idea was good, I just didn’t care for it) but the first two were great.

1 goal, 1 assist, and more importantly wins over Warsaw and Chicago. Nothing to complain about really. Would always love more points but I'll take wins over strong teams over points. Also @Sharkstrong has been terrifying since joining Prague...

Might as well clarify this. The @Commissioner team talked about the usual "line of succession" situation that GMing has always had in the VHL (IE the outgoing GM picks their successor from the team in most cases) and believe that it's unfortunately outdated with so many deserving candidates wanting the job. For this reason GM openings will be, henceforth, always open to applications. However, obviously GM's do still groom their successors and this is normal. For that reason GM choice will be taken into consideration heavily when choosing the next in line for the positions. They won't always be the ones chosen since the field of worthy candidates is very large but we will take the outgoing GM's opinion in as part of our consideration. With that out of the way I would obviously like to thank you @FrostBeard for your time as a GM; you have done great things in a short amount of time with Malmo and should be incredibly proud.

It is but retired players who are playing out their final season are still allowed to be traded.

Apparently we are very good at getting outshot but managing to win, nice to see the win streak hit double digits.

Go look at my first couple of seasons with Lahtinen and then look at what I’ve been doing since hitting Moscow. With a decent build and a good team success will come, just gotta keep working.
