I would like to make something clear off the top. I don't usually write these things because it makes it seem like I wouldn't be willing to play for one team or another. Fact is, that's not the case. Even if I get drafted by the last team on this list I would still be more than willing to sign a contract and help out. This is simply how I feel right now in regards to where I would like to see Miller playing next season. So, without wasting anymore time (and since I typed this part last and shit is getting long) onto the rankings!

    Number One
     Helsinki Titans

With half the first round picks in a very deep draft, the Titans have the possibility to build an impressively strong young core of players. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't interested in being apart of that. Plus Helsinki and Quebec are the only two teams I've never played for in one way or another (never Davos but did when they were Amstel for example) so it could be cool to add another team to the list.

    Number Two
     Cologne Express

I really did enjoy my time with the Express with Chekhov and it would be interesting to go back there. In addition to that, the Express have Vlasis and my current VHLM teammate Tremblay coming up next season, I think it could be fun to play with those guys.

    Number Three
     Riga Reign

The few older members here might recall when I started performing well with Beketov, for those that don't, it's when I started playing for Mike in Vasteras. As far as I can recall I haven't played with him since and I would really like to again. The Reign look like they might be moving toward a younger team and I would enjoy being there for it.

    Number Four
     Seattle Bears

My reasoning for Seattle is very similar to my reasoning for Riga. It's been a long time since I've been a bear (at least with a player I've enjoyed) but when I was there with Beketov I had some of the best years (both in the sim and out) that I've ever had in the VHL. I would love to be able to regain that.

    Number Five
     Calgary Wranglers

Calgary comes in right in the middle for me, not because they are bad or undesirable, but more because I haven't looked into them quite enough. From what I can tell they are rebuilding though which is, in part, the kind of team I want to help out. Jumping onto a winning team is always great but it doesn't give the satisfaction of helping build a team up. I do think Calgary could actually be a good fit for me.

    Number Six
     Davos Dynamo

Starting the lower end of the list is Davos. I have nothing major against the team, which is why they aren't lower, I just have no major love for them either. Maybe it's just the grumpy old poster inside of me that remembers the days when Davos was kinda the sleazy team, finding loopholes in the rules and such. I put them at 6th because I've seen a lot of people fall in love with being on Davos and I'm plenty willing to give them a shot; they just don't fall above the curve.

    Number Seven
     Toronto Legion

I don't have any major issues with Toronto, after all my one good season with White was on the Legion. At the same time though, there isn't a huge draw for me. The team is strong and the players are nice but it just doesn't feel like they need that extra forward to help them out. I'm just not sure I would be a great fit on the Legion.

    Number Eight
     Vasteras Iron Eagles

A list without Vasteras being at the bottom, how preposterous! In any case, I enjoyed the one time I was on Vasteras but just don't think the atmosphere would work for me now. I want to be able to be as active as I can be and you gotta have a certain kind of tough skin to play for Vasteras. I'm not sure the league's reaction to them wouldn't push me away.

    Number Nine
     New York Americans

The Americans seem to fall under the same kind of logic that the Legion did. It's not that they are a bad team, quite the opposite is true. I just don't think I would fit in all that well with them which pushes me away a bit.

    Number Ten
     Quebec City Meute

It's kinda funny, had I done one of these with Chekhov pre-draft I likely would have had Quebec at the top, yet here we are. With all due respect to Quebec I just don't see their direction right now. I think their push for excellence a few seasons ago left them a little crippled right now and things are trying to be figured out. Quebec needs players that can hop in and help with that. I have never been a VHL GM and I have no real interest in being one; therefore I don't think I would want to be counted on in that way. Maybe I'm reading it wrong, maybe I'm not. I just don't fully feel like Quebec is the place for me.

Well, I'm glad I have support on the matter now haha. Friends were tough to find back then. I'm kinda surprised I even came back. I was gone for about 2 weeks before Scotty came on MSN (indicating how long ago this really was haha) and talked me into returning.

Also, Green, I agree with you on the rubric being BS at the time. It's been fixed quite a bit since then to actually account for different things and be clear. Everyone defended it at the time but it really did make no sense. As you said, nothing could be "100% original" so what exactly is that supposed to mean? This is why I should be in the Builder HoF, just saying. I fixed those rules up, VHL Martyr really

What is this summer thing you speak of? I haven't had a vacation in the year I've been working haha. The joys of being at the bottom of the pole. On the plus side, moved into my apartment last Monday so at least I'm not stuck at home anymore.

Oh well, still enough time to get myself up past 175 before the draft which is kinda nuts. My goal is still to be over 200 by pre-season. Where I'll be going is the question mark.

A MacBook actually can fulfill those (rather low) requirements, price aside.

It's pretty clear that the MacBook is not what you want though so I won't suggest it. Someone that close minded to all things apple would hate it anyway. Besides, it doesn't run STHS natively and that's all you're good for

Anything with decent specs from ASUS or Toshiba should be fine. Avoid Acer, HP and gateway like the plague.

Was originally just going to do the intro animation but then I decided that a 7 second animation didn’t seem like enough effort. Also, for the sake of honesty, I followed a tutorial for part of that. So, I decided to follow Kendrick’s idea and piece together a whole trailer. Sure I don’t have a credits list but hey. Computer trouble made this take awhile so I think I turned out quite well all things considered.

Here’s hoping the audio doesn’t get flagged; I really should get to buying those packs. Please try to grade quickly so that I can avoid the issue haha.

Glad to be on a team that actually has a locker room this season. I kid you not, Draper was the one in Oslo to make the S38 discussion topic and he only came in last week...

Also, the power of 1 layer. I was ready to scrap this one and threw a curves layer on as a last ditch effort. I always forget how powerful curves can be for colouring. That one layer brought this from something I hated to something I actually really like.

I live in Atlantic time, it's two hours ahead of Central. Never once in the history of this league (and I've been here the whole time) has he posted a time in AST and guess what, it has never screwed me.

Welcome to the world, things are different in different places. You live within the same country so even on OPPOSITE ENDS the most you have to add is 4.5 hours. It isn't hard. People who live in Europe on here can figure it out and they are at least 6 hours off CST. What's your excuse?

I know people who have had phone interviews with places out West. All the employee told them was that they'd call at 3PST. It's not their job to convert it, the potential employee should do that. If you missed that interview would you bitch at the employer for not converting the time for you?

Welcome to the real world, it doesn't revolve around you. If you go through your entire life thinking that everyone should make things convinient for you than you are going to be very disappointed.
