Fucking flu. At least a medical leave from it. TWO LOTTO PICKS WOOHOO To my delight, Chicago did manage to avoid the choke and jumped over LA with their extra games. Which means I will get two lotto picks instead of one. I think this was a fair result. It was obvious LA was never ready for the playoff action and also Chicago did beat Seattle in wildcard series. With more offensive firepower the Stars can make it to the post season in the future. And according to my mind, up to 2 NA teams may go to the rebuild so making the big dance may even be easier than they've thought. Dead end? Speaking of which, Seattle is the first one. This lineup could do so much, but the late season form showed everything. They peaked early in the season and there was nowhere to go anymore. The 5 forward setup never helped the cause either. And now when 2 out of five forwards already announcing their retirement plus Ori/Godlander being potential free agents. Unless Bana manages to activate his ''fleece other GM's'' card, it makes more sense to blow it up. 5 firsts in the next two drafts plus bunch of second and thirds. The rebuild shouldn't be painfuly long in this case. Now onto another one. Rather sad ending for Toronto who is about to face lots of problems this offseason. Having a frustrating season is one thing. The other one is not having a future at all. Most of their lineup consists of S81 or older player and pretty much everyone are either inactive or clickers. It is apparent that Matty and Doom alone aren't going to solve this problem. But it was Busser's abrupt retirement that put the final nail in their coffin. Now their offense have absolutely 0 future. Just oldies who are about to regress as well. Moreso, the defense which is...not so young anymore. You know what's even worse. NO ONE is a shooter, just whole lotta passing. I mean, maybe someone had to realize going with heavy pass first or 40/40 setup isn't going to help their cause at all? It's STHS for fucks sake, it has a hard boner on scoring builds. Been known since forever. Back to their future though. I don't think they have anything left. They do have their own first (so TOP 6 obviously) and it does make sense to try to get more assets for their older players. They can keep Sakamoto, he is fairly young and I sense he can survive the rebuild. Other ones can go imo. Anyways, only Doom will answer the question about the future. The only thing we can do is sit and watch their next moves. 15 minutes of fame is over? Malmo lost their wildcard series to Davos. Honestly, this team is another interesting one to talk about. All of them trades and FA signings and all they got is wildcard series loss. But honestly, it's their future at forward position that makes me worry. Just look at their current lineup: Bogdan Trunov - retiring Donny Carter - retiring following next season Jakub Brozik and Bob Chicoine - low TPE inactives Noodles Marconi - young, but inactive Cobalt Burns - young, not inactive, but not really being impressive at TPE earning. Both of them are second liners at best for now. Side note: they managed to draft couple of members who were part of S74-75 Riga draft class. Matt Thunder, Ledge and Eynhallow. But wait, that's not over. Donny Carter was Riga draftee in S79 and was directly suggested to me by Ledge. You thought this was it? Their AGM Spaz just finished his goalie Tobias Reinhart, the lifer Riga goalie since S81. Anyways, back to their forward core. This whole list leaves us to Igor Molotov, the only player with the good TPE earning rate. I think you get where I'm going with this. Only Molotov? NOT ENOUGH! Yes, they do have Adolfsen coming up next season. However, he is not exactly superstar level player and who knows if he will manage to reach that status in his career. So what's next? Molotov clearly needs a worthy help to make a good one two punch. And I think there might be some solutiuon to this.... No way out for Perry? ....because I really have no idea if Prague really need to hold on Perry Laperriere. Their rebuilding timeline clearly started later than Perry got drafted. In S84 to be exact. And while Kaleeb's player being a good player, but does it really makes sense for him to wait for Prague finally finishing rebuild right before he regresses? I think Acyd may be better off from getting more future or younger assets instead of holding onto a player who is already on prime contract. So yeah, I'm not going to be really surprised if we're about to see the offseason deal between Prague and Malmo. The latter clearly need more offensive firepower which is not old as well. Seems a good fit to me. I guess that'd really it. As of now, there is no other team that raises lots of questions. Though I do wonder how is defensive lineup of Moscow going to look like next season Markinson and Nylen gone and Remy is inactive plus on regression. AK is actually the only bright spot in their blue line lineup. Is he going to be ready to take the #1 D role or Spartan will have to find a way to bring an older Markinson type of a def? Stay tuned this offseason, what more can I say. I need to reach that 1000 word count so let me make a quick prediction for the playoffs. CGY vs CHI - Calgary in 6 VAN vs DC - Vancouver in 6 WAR vs DAV - Warsaw in 5 MOS vs LON - Moscow in 7 CGY vs VAN - Vancouver in 6 WAR vs MOS - Warsaw in 7 WAR vs VAN - Warsaw in 7 I'm out there being high on the defending champs. But hey having only 3 defs is better than only 5 forwards. Smart moment. That's it and I'm out.

1. Round One begins with a matchup against London United. How well do you think we match up against this team? Moscow in 7. they can drag this far with the Jerome stimulus, but not further than that imo 2. Which players do you think will be the x-factors in this first series? the first line/pair 3. How did your VHFL Team do this year? Was your player a good fantasy player in VHFL? won a group and a top 5 overall I guess. AK was a rookie....no 4. How did you feel your TPE earning went this season? Do you think you will be more, less, or the same in productivity next season? I'm fine so far. depends on if I burn out quickly or nah 5. What is your favorite way to earn TPE? by clicking 6. What was the favorite Halloween costume you ever had? (Can be any costume doesn't need to be for Halloween if you don't celebrate) I don't remember tbh. didn't celebrate that for a long time -
Title. Europe is boring as ever I mean, title. Pretty much every team has solidified their position outside of two. Honestly, I was expecting Davos to run away in post Boobery trade. But London found back their scoring mojo and right now are on 7 win streak. Only 2 points away with 3 games in hand, it might be a tense fight for a non wildcard position. We can see that Jerome is indeed a big factor in this fight. Turned this team from hopless mid to something more respectable, gotta give him credit for that. Other than that, nothing. Malmo managed to run away from Prague and will wait for the conclusion of Davos/London fight. Warsaw apparently already took the Victory Cup. Moscow just chugging along at this point as well as the rest 3 bottom teams. Likely Riga takes the best initial draft lotto odds. NA goes hard still TITLE. Though even here we can see two teams separating from others...wait, there's another one?? - these two looks favorable so far. Barring any STHS playoff shenanigans they could face each other in NA finals. I also have to say - finally Calgary looks like a legit contender, not a leftover. All of them playoff appearances since last cup in S62 and only one finals to brag about after. They probably could take the title for the most wildcard/first round exits among all VHL teams. But maybe it indeed changes this season as Janser popped off and elevated their offense to the new level. Something they didnt have for a very long time. - there is indeed another one. Only one point from Vancouver too. Outside of LA this is the most head scratching team in the league. For the most part they've been middling, but somehow find themselves very close from the second place. Bana dark magic on work once again I see. Everything that could go in their way, happened so far. Chicago with their unattractive offensive output, a team below collapsing right before the season ending and LA/NY/Toronto never being better than Seattle in the first place. I'm not sure about their chances in this playoffs, but I feel it doesn't matter much to them anymore. The projected last hoorah for this core is not gonna end up in whimper, that's for sure. - huh? And here I was thinking they're about to get rid of that DC MID stamp, but this ain't it. If they were hoping for Bubbles to cover up their recent offensive shortcomings, this is not how it's done. Now DC finds themselves at the wildcard place and by looks of and this was not necessary imo. *Insert DC offensive vision went RC joke* - now this is the real nitty gritty of the playoff fight. I'm not really sure how did NY catch up their California counterparts, but here we are. Chicago is 2 points away from LA, but also three games in hand. Honestly, I'm not sure how did Stars manage to survive so far considering their performance being the definiton of mid, but Simon continues to bullshitting. And as an owner of LA's first I will hate on this. I was also about to hate on the fact their GM Rockstar forgot to put a backup last sim...before realizing both of these games were lost. Though I'm not sure anymore. I was hearing IR had his own pet and a relative passing away in one week so...maybe it was more on Fonzi? Anyways, extra two games for Vandelay did gave a whole 0 points to them so no harm done so far. However, I tend to be very petty if things don't go my way so they better fix this mistake before next sim. Also, Chicago has to stop to show us boring offense. I know their biggest offseason acqusition Nano is another pass first guy, but damn. And NY...well they are fighting, that's cool to see. I'm still waiting for Chiang to pop off someday. Cause his current performance is the classic STHS shafting at it's best imo. - credit to them making their season more respectable. Matter of fact, they are not even out from the playoff fight yet. They managed to cut the deficit from LA to 6 points which is way better than almost 20 they had at early season. Also, they are playing the Stars twice...this should be spicy. Still, there is a feeling their late season push came in too late. And the retirement of Busser makes me think the rebuild isn't far away. For now, they can enjoy the better days and hope for a miracle. That's it for today. In the middle of my writings my keyboard decided to be a bitch for some reason so the rest was pain in the ass for me. I feel like something will be smashed today. That's it and I'm out.

1. With less than 10 games left in the season, and our playoff seed basically set - what is the focus for the rest of the season? give all points to AK cause he's mid 2. We are set to meet either Davos or London in the first round, what team do you think we match up better against? Davos might be too iffy with Boobery, London looks an easier option 3. What player needs to turn it in in the playoffs for us to be successful? most of second liners/pair 4. Reflecting on the previous season; what do you think the highlight was for you? - Can either in the sim or in the community.. Istanbul cup 5. Thoughts on NHL opening up the season in EU? Establishing their place in EU since Russia is out of commission 6. What is your favorite Thanksgiving dish? I dont celebrate that -
Hi. New same ol recap. STOP OVERACHIEVING! Honestly I would had a fun of watching LA having a good season out of nowhere and trying to oust Chicago from the playoff spot. However, one thing that prevents me from enjoying this scenario: I have their first. So now all of the heroics from Vandelay is slowly starting to piss me off. After all there is a reason why I mentioned about them having a good season out of nowhere. I'm ready to die on this hill and say that they are not the playoff material no matter how more bangers Gus goalie can produce. So dear @InstantRockstar, it's time to rack up L's and move out from the playoff zone. And dear @JeffD, stop being so mid at offense and I hope Lazeski can help you with that. Make up yall mind, thank you very much. What stage grief it is? I don't think much comments needed. Hands down the worst offense in the league with openly tanking Riga existing. Barely being above us in standings as well. Pretty sure there are gonna be some sellings this offseason. Feels like it's time to move on from S80/81 core which couldn't take this team to major heights even during their heydays. And now most of them are doing even less. Matty and Lindbergh can stay, but others gotta be traded and give chances to a newer generation. Bloodbath. Now onto more positive moments. The title of this section doesn't sound that happy, but these teams are indeed doing well. No one wants to start from the wildcard so they are doing everything to secure the top 3 spot. All of the ups and downs they experienced this season was well worth it. 50+ games in and the 4th place team Calgary is 6 points from conference leading Vancouver with 2 games in hand. DC has even more, 3 games in hand. Honestly, I was a bit surprised to see Seattle in this mix. I feel like this is the maximum their roster can produce, but I guess we can give a credit to Bana for actually making this happening. Not sure if this 5 forward roster is gonna be enough in the playoffs, but I imagine they will be fine with any result at this point. After all, it could've been way worse. Like Tor.....khe khem. Nothing else much to say. EU doesn't feel that entertaining. Though we may witness some minor choke should Malmo continue to produce mids after mids. Seriosly, Prague is only 3 points away and they are not even trying. Just HOW? Other than that, still Warsaw vs Moscow. And Alex trying to do everything to squeak Davos into the EU race by acquiring Boobery. Shall see how it goes. London is kinda jumping around with not much ambition from their side. And then there's Helsinki with Riga trying to out tank each other. I guess @OrbitingDeath will have to accept the fact The Frenchman is about to be yet another first overall for Green....OrbitingDeath. Ye, I'm still living in past. That's it and I'm out.

1. Will Papa Emeritus ( @Beketov) break the Moscow Menace all time wins record? Idk didnt pay an attention. depends on if Acyd wants to be a backup next season also the cap. 2. Who is your favorite player @Beketovhas ever created? none of them played for Riga under my tenure so no one 3. If @Beketovstepped down from being Commish, what VHL member do you think would make a good replacement? uhhh idk. I'm not that active to figure it out 4. Describe @Beketov by using only ice cream flavors. strawberry maybe. idk why just the first thing popped in my mind 5. Do you think @Beketov has ever processed sims in his underwear? Some of those late night sims, ya know… I guess so. who cares anyways as long as he sims 6. Considering this is the last season I’ll be doing Press Conferences, do you think @Beketovshould take over for me? mhm go ahead and ask him I guess -

I have to admit I hit a rock bottom at doing point tasks now and instead of making a decent thread about GM's I'll have to go a cheap route. And make trade deadlines trades recap (outside of potential deals tomorrow since the theme week is over today). Cause this thing will qualify for an extra 6 TPE. I'm very sure about that heh. After all, these were done by GM's, right? And commentary being done by other half active GM since S74 which is me. I'll even tag managers in here to make sure I get my extra points. Thank you very much. Trade #1: receives: S86 WAR 1st receives: S87 CGY 1st Looks self explanatory. * For @dlamb: basically he isn't interested much in this draft and instead is focusing on potential retool after S86. * Same for @Ricer13, just for retooling following this season. Though I have little questions about this from their side. With the way EU conference is going I don't think Warsaw's pick will land higher than 13th overall. And who even knows what happens with Calgary next season. Also, isn't this even a plan how to get his bro Tina back into Calgary? Pretty sure he isn't going to be availabe at 13 or lower so in this case Ricer has to make maneuvers for making this happen. Or the reality is more simple: just grab more picks for this draft for a successful retool. Trade #2: receives: Xavier Booberry S86 LDN 3rd receives: David Davis Juan Sano III S86 DCD 2nd S86 HSK 4th Fresh put of the baking owen! Helsinki finally blows it up and will try to out tank Riga for the initial better lotto odds. * Looking at the timing of both Helsinki trades I can say it wasn't @Rayzor_7 who sent these trades lol. Anyways, the fully loaded rebuild trigger has been pulled. Though I do have a question, was Boobery that cheap? That's tough. One of the league's best goalies wasn't even worth a first. I guess... that's the max Ray could get in this market. In fairness, pending FA status will do that to a price, even if a player is a world class. Mid to late second with a S83 prospect. To his credit, Denns came back once he took a commish job in SBA. However, I'm not sure if he really fits into the Helsinki timeline outside of being a transitional player. And then Davis who will most likely head to FA after this season so he doesn't even matter for Helsinki. Honesly, I was surprised the other Ray's todays trade partner wasn't trying to get Boob. Really weird moment. * Not much comments from @Alex perspective. Davis was not being consistent enough hence the goalies swap. Boobery may elevate Davos to a more comfortable third place as for now thier record is rather middling and I don't think fighting for not being in wildcard was in Alex plans for this season. Neither Sano III was very essential to their future. Trade #3: receives: Doug Britton Reid Johnson Tater Tottingham S87 MAL 2nd receives: Cobalt Burns Hammar Voss S87 HSK 4th Honestly when I saw the title first, Boobery to Malmo was my first guess. So I was kinda surprised to see this result. * They could hope @Rayzor_7 can also sell Nesbitt and Florida Man, but for now, this is the end result of his firesale. Now this return makes more sense. Tater and Johnson are S85 prospects and Britton is S84. So they could make an impact for this franchise later on. Plus a S87 second which may as well as be at the mid region. By the way, another case of a pending FA status tanking the price of a player. This time, it was Hammar Voss. There were more questions about Burns, but looking at the update page I do see Ledge has fallen off a bit from earning lots of TPE. So I guess, Ray is fine with the assets he managed to grab this time. * Now to @KaleebtheMighty and Malmo. Honestly, I'm not sure about the trade. Not really the price he gave. More like, were these positions most important for his team? Sure, they are being kinda mid so far so adding a good offensive option from the blue line is a cool moment. But I'm still really not sure why didn't he fight for Boobery. I don't think Tsezar is the man who can take this team far. Maybe Kaleeb's plan is to sign Davis later on so he kept the first round pick for the offseason trading. Also, questions about the longterm impact that Burns could make for Malmo. With his current TPE earning pace his role is never gonna be higher than depth two way option. Perhaps Malmo management is hoping Ledge finds his spark again and becomes something more than depth. Alright, I guess that's it for today. No more trades so far. That's it and I'm out.

1. How is your player doing this season, any room for improvement? kinda mid? I guess I'm impatient already and I want stats 2. Is Riga's performance surprising you so far? not really? we're still somewhere at the bottom 3. We're at the halfway mark already, who do you think has the best chance at winning the cup? no idea? prolly Moscow get more luck in playoffs and finally wins it 4. Who has been the most vocal player in the locker room? Spaz 5. Do you have any plans for this Fall or are you in school lol? no school for me, I'm a working man. gonna go vacation soon I suppose 6. Are you excited for the NHL season? maybe? not overly too hyped

1. After a really tough start to the season, Moscow is back to being two points from leading the EU Conference once again. Where do you think we will finish in the standing? The first in EU. 2. Who do you think is the biggest influencer for our success so far this season? honestly havent paid attention to stats cause AK has been mid so far so idk bout this answer 3. What team other than Moscow has impressed you this season? Jerome found back his mojo and dragging whole London to a non wildcard place 4. I’ve been rockin a pretty weird sleep schedule recently staying up till like 4am.. how many hours of sleep do you get a day? was doing 3-4, now 6+ some progress right here 5. We’ve been talking a lot in our Discord Gaming channel about new games to play. Any recommendations? tbh no not playing much anything 6. NHL season is almost starting back up. How does your favorite team look for the upcoming season? Interesting, to say the least. hope johnny hockey can mesh up well with the rest of teammates -
Hey there, I need TPE and here's some recap stuff for the last week. The Titanic appears to be an icebreaker? For a team that was supposed to be in shambolics a 7-2-2 record is certainly a welcoming surprise for the depleted, but still fighting crew. Their rookies that were signed just because either nobody else could afford them or never were in other team's plans actually decided to put their claim on the rookie award. And Boobery...well, it's Boobery. Enough said. That's why the reality will come crashing down sooner or later. There's not much chances Rain and Cholo can keep this up during the remaining of the season and even Boobs may have enough of carrying this team all the time. For me this team is still 6th in Europe at best. But for now, they can enjoy bringing chaos to the Europe standings. On side note, Prague is also having a pretty good record as of now. Let em enjoy this moment too. AGAIN??? Anyone who were active around during Gustav tenure knows that scoring was the biggest Achilles heel of his Davos. Fast forward to Alex era and what do we see? Same old shit. The team just refuses to score a lot and they just managed to climb from the last EU spot. Their 28 goals scored is the 4th worst in the league and I may sense some of S70's members are having one question in mind: NOT AGAIN??? I fairness, I think Davos will pick it up later and may have more exciting games. They still have lots of room for improvement as almost the half of their roster consists of ELC players. Also, Davis is on due for better statline. Though I have doubts about their cup ambitions cause they do not have lots of elite talent for now. They still should climb comfortably as some overachievers are about to get down to lotto zone so they can still sleep tight. Did I overrate this conference? Last time I was praising this side of VHL for being very stacked and was kinda excited to see how it's gonna pan out. 12-13 games in and I'm starting to feel like I was too quick to predict a bloodbath and standings are kinda pre determined already. Let's see why. - this was expected. Leaving things done half way, especially at offense isn't gonna do much for a team. Miglasķēms indeed isn't going to carry the whole team to anywhere and in fairness, he wasn't supposed to do that anyways; - I had an idea for a quick standings predictions before the season. But I got lazy, how surprising!!! If I did that though, you would see that this team at 7th place in NA conference. And some of yall may be like, what is this reach? But when you dive in to their roster, it's all becoming more clear. Outside of Lindbergh, only Matty Fire could be considered as borderline elite level player. And their defence isn't built for putting the puck to the net at all which for me is a requirement if the team wants to be a legit contender. And like, you don't need all 4 of scoring first defs, but you really could use some elite shooting blue liner. This team has none which does hamper their offensive potential. Lindbergh's early struggles are a bit surprising, but even with his imminent rise they won't impress other more complete teams. More like this is gonna be your hard fighting team that will have lots of 2-1 games. And most of times they will end up as a defeated squad. - This one is a bit interesting. And perhaps it stings a bit too. All of that free agency splash to have 24 goals scored in 13 games. Well, it's still too early to say, but there is a feeling their struggles may never end this season. But then, what can you do when your depth isn't great at all. Matter of fact, only one player with faceoff skill? Basically they have no 2C and I think this says it all. To make things even worse, despite having really good defencemans who can do lots of stuff; the one things they can't do is....you guessed it right. To shoot a lot. What can you do, STHS is so hard on scoring first players and it will stay that way regardless of attributes system. The good news is, they only spent a third round pick for all of that so I'm sure neither Fresco or Thad are gonna lose a sleep over this. Quick thrills Let's talk about this team a bit. And what has quick thrills to do with Malmo. Well, this is the exact description I have for their offseason. For me, they weren't looking anything special even with Molotov and newly acquired Carter so I was expecting them being a extremely mid. Then they managed to land Trunov and this caused for the trade with Seattle. Max Torq was brought to bring the elite oomph for their defence. Looks like these moves helped this team to jump from being a rebuild team to be a fine 8-3-0 contender. You may wonder what's the real ceiling for Tsezar and can they sustain their performance as a whole. One thing is for sure, they will make the playoffs. Doesn't matter if it's from wildcard or straight to the round 1. So far so fine, you know. The problem, however, their ambitions in the future. This is the farewell tour for Trunov and Carter is going to have the same next season. After that, only Molotov and Marconi to run the show plus a decent depth from Adolfsen. Not exactly enough to make a legit competitor in my books. Doesn't looks like Tsezar is the goalie for the distant future either. Decent D prospects who are going to be a fine depth players in their ELC period. But the most important question is, Max Torq? After all, this is the last season of his contract. I think Steve is the member who needs to be convinced to sign with a team. You can't just sit and do little and expect him to happily extend. They don't have lots of draft picks left either, but these may be enough to make some useful trades. Honestly, I'm wondering if Helsinki is going to try to sell before this trade deadline. I feel like Malmo could use some of them good to elite players to fully join the dance. And also having a better chance of extending Torq too. Anyways, time will tell and it's up to Kaleeb and Spaz what's in the store for their future. Side note 2: looking at these rookies putting numbers. And then we have AK with 8 points. Cmon bruh.... That's it and I'm out.

1. Moscow currently sits at 2-4-2 and we are second last in the EU Conference. What is your level of concern? Do you think we just are in the middle of an early season slump, or do we need to make changes? by looking at the strength of this conference, no concern. 2. How did your VHFL draft turn out? Who was your biggest steal? Idk, it was decent maybe? I hope Sogaard puts up some work cause I took him in round 5. 3. The landscape of the VHL changed a lot this off-season, what team do you think made the best improvements to their line-up? Vancouver looks cool. some minor jump like Malmo too. 4. How have you felt about your player in the first week of sims? Meh. All of them shots and he is still mid. 5. Turn you player into a Pokemon. Name, Type, and one move. AK 5/11, Poison/Grass, Solar Beam 6. Back to school this week - what was your favorite school subject growing up? nothing....uhmmm ok. Sports, Geography and History -

1. This off-season feels like it could be a while, what has/will occupied your time: WJC, World Cup, Taking a break, or nothing - just waiting for start of season sims? doin some lil gm job and then waiting for the season, nothing else 2. The VHL Draft is over and it looks like Moscow is looking to continue it's contending trends as we just drafted our next goalie of the future in @Acydburn. What are your thoughts on Moscow trading up to nab a stud goalie prospect. We still ride Papa this year, but with kobe retiring, Acyd's player should be one of the more elite back-up goalies. tbh I'd draft him if Spart didnt make that trade so good on him 3. There's been many trades, team shake-ups, GM changes, VHLM Commish changes, and all-round changes to the league this off-season (only a few days in too). What change or off-season development do you think is the best so far? still waiting for the regression changes 4. Spartan has once again worked his magic and re-tooled the team to be competitive this season. We didn't loose a marquee player like Idaho, but we did unfortunately have to lose le Massif. How do you think the team looks going into next season? EU is weak ass this season so no worries here 5. Are there any games on the upcoming season schedule that you have especially marked on your calendar? Nothing really. just play a game and stuff 6. There's a lot of things coming up in the off season, make sure to watch for Discord "TPE Alerts" as we will notify you of all TPE opportunities. Do you plan on participating in the VHFL? Easy TPE! ye I do some fantasy, maybe this time I'll have a better luck -
The VHLE season ended with a bang for the hoodie man. His team Istanbul managed to hoist the grandest prize of them all, the Renaissance cup. He did contribute a lot to his teams success, hence the best defenseman award he received yesterday. This, however soon to be in the past as AK is about to make his VHL debut very soon. There were some questions about his role in Moscow's defensive lineup as Markinson is about to go all in his last season and Power is a solid defenseman on his own. Well...before he was traded to Vancouver. Now the situation is even more interesting, though some could argue it is on #92's favor. Markinson will obviously carry whole Moscow's defensive production, but then they will find themselves with three similar skilled defensemans. Which means AK may get more free space to actually have a decent rookie season, if not better. The forward lineup is pretty fine too so there is definitely a chance the Latvian hoodie lover will benefit from this greatly. Only time will tell though. I do expect him hitting fairly decent numbers for a rookie. Somewhere between 50-60 points, though I won't be that surprised if he can hit more. That obviously would be a welcoming turn of events. As for da Hoodie himself. He had a nice time of celebrating his VHLE season. And it did affect his form a bit as he arrived to Moscow in...an iffy conditions, to say it lightly. The coach and GM, however were rather tolerant on this occasion. I guess they are watching E league too. In fairness AK92 managed to get in his best shape in a quick fashion so nobody had much issue about his looks during the arrival soon after. Also the quick side fact: the hoodie man doesn't like vodka so I imagine he won't be looking drunk too often in Moscow. The fans will for sure admire that mental stregth from his not knowing he just doesn't like this particular alcohol drink. All in all, the Latvian defenceman is cautiously optimistic about the upcoming season. He knows he won't be the first option with the existing Markinson, but he is for sure ready for making an impact and maybe even try to fight for the rookie award. Though he did say in an interview with the local Moscow newspaper that he isn't focusing on awards as of now. Though I feel like this is not exactly true, but this kind of attitude gonna be welcomed among Menace's bosses.
