Today, the blue and brown team made some changes and they even didn't wait for the season's ending. First of all, we got two new commishes. And then some more points from @Higgins. But then we have another change that he didn't mentioned - the LR's were moved back to the bottom. It's not the first time when we are seeing locker rooms there - they already were in bottom when I joined the league. It all changed in S49 (I believe) when @Evans was advocating for moving LR's to the top and the higher hierarchy decided to agree with him. But for now they are moved back to the bottom. By the way, when I logged on today, I thought I lost all perms lol. The thing is, I don't know why this happened. I have only one explanation on this - LR's are distracting the forum from activity as we're just stuck in our locker rooms and then logging out because we don't want to see more or something. But I already saw some members who are not fond of this decision so I'm capitilazing on this and taking one extra TPE for Petenis. And I made a poll to see an opinion from members. 1 TPE goes to Petenis.

That was me when I joined my first sim league. I was a TPE whore and my player sucked ass so I made a rage-quit. Then I joined the SHL, VHL and other English language leagues and realized I won't be a star cause there are a shit ton of TPE whores so accepted a fact I won't make any superstar players anymore. So I'm just doing PT's sometimes, claiming welfares and enjoying the unexpected performances from my players (Petenis S54-55, Krīgars, this season).

I don't know what to write about, but I need one more TPE for upping my speed to 90 for Fred. So this is another random topic about nothing. So it seems like I have a hard time to updating in all 5 leagues and the outcome of it is I'm doing nothing in all 5 leagues then. Ok, the VHL is sort of an exception, because I'm a GM here. But I think I'll start to cut some leagues off very soon because I'm just tired. So the order would be like: 1. SBA - the updater job is the only thing why I stayed active through all these days, but trading my player to a bottom dweller while in his peak was the final blow for me. After that, my activity started to fade out and I think I won't do things with my potential recreate. 2. GOMHL - I even forget to claim 8 TPE there from activity check. And Traplord still isn't on HoF makes me sad. I think Kunkste is my last player there. 3. Both football leagues - my plan is finish thing with both players and then I'm out. So yes these three players from both leagues could be my first and last. 4. VHL - Also, my plan is having VHL as the last league before I'll leave the sim league. Yup. *119 points? issa nutthin* The @hedgehog337 agency has already produced decent players for every sim hockey leagues and what's more impressive, he managed to find talents for every postion: LW; RW; goalie, defence...every but a center. So the Nereta's own Fredinamijs Krīgars was a special guy for a Latvian agent. His first appearance on the VHLM league happened on S51 when he was convinced by his agent to join the Bratislava Watchmen team which was GM'ed by himself. Fred helped team to beat Bern, but then they got swept by Moscow. Then he got drafted by Yukon when he started to show his strength: his solid play helped Yukon to reach the finals twice, but unfortunately he finished both seasons as a runner-up. Also, he was drafted by Quebec in the S53 draft, but he never played a game with them as his agent became a Riga GM and shortly after that Krīgars was traded to his team. Now he's a 2C behind Ravenwing and perhaps he will be promoted to 1C after Essian retirement. STRENGTHS 1. Scoring. Krīgars is basically a Zeptenbergs type of a player, the only difference is Fred is decent at faceoffs as well. And it seems like he's more talented than Zep was - he managed to notch 83 points on his rookie season. And now he broke the hedgehog337 agency's point record - nobody was able to score more than 85 points before Krīgars posted 119 points in this regular season. 2. Talent. That what I was talking about in my first point - he didn't even work hard to make a splash from the 2C position. It didn't came from nowhere though - the VHLM already witnessed his exceptional scoring play, where he with his Yukon teammates almost pulled a miracle in the S52 finals against Bratislava. So maybe he's not busting his ass, but he knows what he needs to improve. 3. Clutch. He really imroved this part of the hockey game. He posted a solid 8 game winning and 3 game tying goals and only Phil Shankly was better with the 9/5 stat. So you can see he's not the unexperienced guy anymore and he can turn the game by his own. WEAKNESS 1. Defence. Nothing surprising here. Zeptenbergs also never was a soild defender and Fred is a quite selfish guy as well. Just look at his ''only'' +51 from this season - only his second line partners De Rossi and Pastrnak had worse ratio (+50 and +48, respectively). All he knows is how to score and how to win faceoffs, but when it comes to defend his goalie - Krīgars is nowhere to be seen. 2. Quickness. I know the centers are getting much hits, but it is his fourth VHL season already. And maybe it is time to stop being so clumsy to receive 200+ hits every season? Because it could help him to score even more goals or assists instead of stucking in the opponent's defensive wall. 3. Work ethic. The most typical con from all hedgehog337 agency players. It doesn't means they're completily lazy, but when it comes to working harder than usual - Krīgars is out. And maybe now he's scoring 119 points, but will he do that same in like, 7th season? I don't think so and his lack of the worth ethic is going to be one of the reasons of that. Conclusion: a talented player without much longevity. yup. That's it and I'm out. You already know who gets 8 TPE.

*VHL needs more of these smiling faces* I have no ideas for the league and also I'm lazy as fuck. I didn't even claim welfare last week - that's your Riga Reign GM, ladies and gentleman. Instead of this, I'm going to continue my ''The next or new something is...'' series as this is my only idea for now. The only difference is that I won't talk about a team. After @Smarch realized the virtual world of the VHL isn't worth his nerve system, the league suddenly is left high and dry with the only active commish in @Higgins + @JardyB10 as a saviour of Davos. So you already know what I'm going to talk about, but I also want to include the BoG position in this - probably some members don't want to make a jump immediately and they would rather see their nickname in brown. I'll name some members and try to predict their destiny in this off-season. @Corco - Commish. He is enjoyong his successful comeback: he didn't had to wait for a long time before he became the VHLM Commissioner and he indeed is helping the new memebers. I named him first for the other reason though. The VHL already saw a VHLM Commissioner who became a blue team member, like aforementioned Smarch or @Fire Hakstol(? or vice versa, I don't really remember). So it only makes sense if he will become the VHL commish following this season. @Banackock - BoG. I think he's aiming for a higher position than a GM, but I'm not sure if it's a commisioner job. I feel like his most recent article about throwing ideas for the VHL makes everybody understand that he's interested in changing his nickname color from gold to brown to make the VHL attractive to new members. I'm not sure about the outcome, but I think he will become the BoG after this season ends. A commish though? Like I said, I'm not sure. @Frank - stays as a VHLM Commish. To be honest, I just put him here because the VHL has a history of the VHLM Commish becoming a blue member. I don't think this is the case though. Frank will likely stay in the VHLM as it won't be the easiest thing to find another one for the green team. @jRuutu - I'm half joking, but maybe BoG? He's pretty active on the boards, but when somebody mentions the welfare, he becomes a beast with the ''fuck all welfare guys, they're ruining the league'' rhetoric. And while I'm not agreeing with his point, it's nice to see a member going hard on discussions and maybe if he has some more ideas than getting rid of the welfare, he legitimately can pretend for the BoG job, because it's weird to see an active member with a 3800+ posts without a job in the VHL. So I named some members who are having or will have a shot at the commish/BoG spot. And yes, perhaps I missed some member here so don't bitch at me if I you got fisted ana...s-n-u-b-b-e-d.
