VHLM GMs originally got paid because back in the day no one wanted to be a GM/ we didn't have enough actives so we had to provide an incentive to have people take the job I no longer think we need to provide that incentive

Hey the #6 pick in that draft was amazing and won rookie of the year for Riga! Clearly a steal and definitely didn't go inactive

From this regression, Checking has the 4th highest positive coefficient in relation to points, so an argument can be made that is certainly is impactful in getting more points.

This discussion has motivated me, my next regression is going to be about how upgrading checking impacts expected hits, PIMS, points, etc

The S42 draft was so bad that after like the first 4 picks there was no one. A few things to LOL out, one being @flyersfan1453 ran this draft when he was a commish for 5 seconds. Two, @boubabi's Stockholm Vikings chose the worst draft ever to have 5 1st round picks in, as none of those picks were in the top five, and I don't believe a single one of those 1st rounders actually became a good player. I also want to LOL at Boubabi's "cousin" @Gigga-Bijou. Actually now that I'm looking I believe that Severin Von Karma and Benjamin Zeptembergs at least turned into decent players in the second round. But still, what a horrible draft for the Vikings to have a boatload of picks in. Thank god for the recruiting efforts now and drafts actually being a few rounds deep of solid prospects, the league sucked when drafts were boring and no fun because it was all inactives. Fuck

Me, @Victor, and @Ahma once did a podcast together and talking to Ahma is one of the most entertaining things ever. He sounds like a robot and we refuses to give out even the smallest details about himself, as it took a half hour of peer pressure just to find out one thing about him, which is that his poor lizard died and he was really upset about it I'm pretty sure the three of us also played haxball together sometime and that was fun too. I also enjoyed when the VHL had an EASHL team, I remember playing with @Kendrick, @Jala, and @DollarAndADream, and @Smarch and we were decent and played some quality Hakstol hockey and it was a lot of fun. Also when I used @flyersfan1453's account to give myself blue team powers for a few weeks, and secretly changed a bunch of words to autocorrect to munk speak. I also made munk a commish and he logged in like 6 months later and was laughing because he had commish powers. That was funny and @Will was kinda upset about that one
