  1. Review: I really like this one! It is a unique idea I haven't seen before and I'm digging it. Overall the render is clean and there's really not much to change at all. The thing I'd personally do is to change the name to stand out a bit more to create that "big trader" type of character and show that he is a boss at trading stocks! Other than that it is great! 8.5/10
  2. Review: I really like what you were going for here and I am really Digging it. Although I would say it is a but too bright, especially at the bottom. Makes it hard to see the name and makes it messier, if you could fux that it would be a lot better! Well done! 7/10
  3. Why we shouldn't add a stock market to the Vhl. First of all, it is wayyyyyyyyyy to complicated without several people giving tons of time up for it to work properly. Second of all, there would be way too many game breaking glitches, since we won't have people look over it constantly there will eventually be a glitch and the market will crash or create an inflation. Another problem is that we don't have anything else to spend money on. You just save money until depreciation and then use it. If we could implement more reasons to use your money early - mid "game" there will need to be more ways to earn that money, that's where stocks come in. Since some forum only people are not eligible to invest in the real stock market we shouldn't let a player based stock market be available for them, it can give them bad habits and make them make bad mistakes.
  4. Presser for 10/17 1) Who is your hockey idol? Don't really have one person, I have tons of people I like 2) Who is your non-sports related idol? Same as the answer above 3) Do you think of yourself as an introvert or extrovert? Introvert 4) Favorite shade of blue, go! Dark blue 5) If you could lead the league in one category, what would it be? Goals 6) What do you think is the best award to win? Goal award 7) Dogs or cats? Cats everyday in the week and twice on a Sunday
  5. VHL theme week - The life after the VHL is well planned out for Gustislav Nasherov with a nostalgic trip to the past. Early after retirement - Gustislav Nasherov retires and gets his jersey hung up in an arena that knows his name, talks about his name and remembers his name. The jersey ceremony is something to remember, the arena is filled with fans wanting to say one last goodbye to the RW legend Gustislav Nasherov. After the ceremony Nasherov goes back to his house in Rögle and takes time to think and appreciate his long and eventful career. The day he got drafted. The day he signed his first contract. The day he scored his first goal. But what he most remembers is the day he got to lift the cup. His lifelong dream became true at that moment and nothing could compare to the feeling of having lifted a cup above your head with thousands of people chanting your name. A reasonable time after retirement - Nasherov has started to enjoy the simpler things in life more. He goes fishing every now and then hoping to catch a fish. He visits old teammates and catches up on what they have been doing since they last met. As he is very fond of cooking his own food he started to take cooking classes by world class chefs, after having learned how to make some absolutely delicious food he started sharing the food with friends and family. They think that the dish is delicious and Nasherov is delighted. Not only has Nasherov started to take cooking classes, he has also started trying to get into the smaller and less known leagues of the world. Sometimes he takes trips to Germany to see how they play hockey there compared to the VHL, sometimes he goes to Switzerland to watch hockey and taste their delicious cheese. He also starts to watch tons of SHL games. Especially Rögle games. He really enjoys watching them as he has been doing that ever since he was a little boy. But no matter how many times he goes there he is still as excited as the first, it never gets tiring and he can do it all year long if he could've been able to. 1-2 years after retirement - After having spent more than a year in retirement and traveling around the world watching hockey games he gets a strange letter sent to his house. After opening the letter he became ecstatic! He had been offered a job by the Helsinki Titans, as a scout. Being so happy about it he replied instantly. A week later he was on a plane to Helsinki. Sitting on the plane he remembers how it felt the first time he was traveling there. Drafted 12th overall and super excited to play, when he arrives in Helsinki he is greeted with tons and tons of fans chanting his name. And when he heard that, he knew. He was where he belonged and nothing could bring Helsinki and Gustislav Nasherov apart.
  6. Good article, never heard my player get called Nashy but I like it
  7. Review: For a first graphic I am impressed! The logo on the puck doesn't look bad at all! The puck concept is something I haven't seen before and I like it. Overall I really like this especially it being your first ever graphic! Keep going like this and you will become awesome at graphic making in no time! 8/10
  8. Review: I really like what you're going for here but to be honest it looks a little rough, I know it's hard to find a good picture of god but if you don't have too much skills in logo swapping I would stick to some more plainer jerseys or pictures as that is easier to start with, other than that I like the background and the text. All I could ask for is easier logo swap subject and a little better quality other than that good job! 6/10
  9. Why money should play a bigger part in the vhl Money in the vhl is used in a wrong way, from the season after you use your first paycheck all you do is save it up until your player starts getting old. Money has no aspect whatsoever until the last 4 or so years left in your career. If instead they would be used to purchase different things for example an indoor gym for extra practice facility tpe it would be much more fun than just saving it until you're old. I think that NHL 21 be a pro did this well and made it fun and actually do care about your contract money, depending on what player type you're going for you purchase different things thus upgrading or giving a small stat boost to a trait and making money more strategy based. Another wild idea is to implement a stock market but that is just wayyyyy to complicated for such little things to spend it on
  10. Welcome back to Fox news extra here with Helsinki Right Wing Gustislav Nasherov for an interview How do you feel about the season so far? At the start of the season I was surprised how good things were going, we were winning against teams who were the clear favorites and made an upset, then we rolled back and did more like expected. It is really exciting to see how good we could do as a team at this stage, in two or three seasons we will surely dominate the competition. Our rookies do their job if not more and if they continue doing that they will be top line players in no-time without doubt, I myself am also trying to improve as much as I can, feels like I could've done better in some games and some games I did way better than expected of me. If I can find a way to become more consistent in my games I will surely be able to become a better player to look up to as well. How do you feel about your point production so far? It of course feels great to have more than a ppg and I am quite happy with that. The only thing I would like to become better at in that section is my consistency, sometimes I score upwards 3 points and sometimes I score 0, if I could become more consistent and instead of scoring so differently each game it could be more spread out and thus leading to more wins, with the amount of minutes I'm getting out there I want to expect more if myself and be able to line up to standards if not better. One thing I would also like to become better at is my shot percentage, since I'm getting so much ice time and shooting so many shots a better shot would help both with the point production and winning more games as a whole. If I could become better than what I already am at that I could take even bigger roles within the team and score more points too. How do you feel about the upcoming draft? The last few drafts have been very exciting to say the least, we have had so many draft picks and this year we have the most. 3 first rounders and 4 2nd rounders doesn't sound too bad, this will be the night I've been looking forward to since the rebuild was announced, all of the great players we have had to say goodbye to have lead to this and I am sure we will draft tons upon tons of awesome players, with new players there will if course be new friends to meet and new personality types too. There are not enough words to explain how hyped I am about this draft and it will surely lead to league domination and at last a cup. After this draft and practicing for a couple of seasons we will have tons of good players to be able to compete for that cup
  11. Presser for 10/10 1) If you have ever held a league job, what was your favorite? If not, what do you want? AGM sounds fun, you have a say in things but no responsibility 2) What league job do you think is most underrated? AGM, pay the poor assistants som tpe 3) How do you feel about your player's performance thus far this season? Could do better could do worse, sometimes good in games sometimes not 4) What about the team's performance? Got a sweet couple of wins at the start but not really expecting much this season anyways 5) What is the ideal number of times to go around a roundabout? 4 is my lucky number 6) Do you have a guilty pleasure comfort food? Tacos 7) Do you prefer watching game tape or running drills A combination, seeing what could've been done better then practicing it
  12. 1. The Halifax 21st have officially adopted Chicken Nugget Dreamland as the team song. What song would be your player's song and why? Skip 2. With only two returning players this season, why is Bryn Yrwy your favourite? Bryn Yrwy Score 3. We have two Swedish players on the team. What is your favourite Swedish thing and why? Ikea? ABBA? Vat? Only one right answer here 4. Saskatoon Wild has a new interim GM, BarzalGoat. Do you want him to succeed in his job or should we beat him? Skip 5. Do you have any pets? If yes, how do they support you when you play games? If no, do you want one? Yes, they meow 6. What is the most important requirement when hiring for our new AGM if Dan doesn't come back? Any special requests? To have Dylan as the AGM looker
  13. I don't think Helsinki has an alternate logo though
  14. Review: I really like the concept if going all gold theme here which I think looks great. But with all the names makes it too messy and it's hard to focus on one thing, other than that there isn't much more I would improve upon. The logos are swapped clean and the color changing is good. 8/10
  15. Review: Wow there's a lot to say here. I really like how you tried to use Helsinki's colors instead of the Swedish flag but now it looks more like the Finnish flag, Finland may sound fake but a few Google searches and you will know what it is. Other than that I like it except that the original logo is still there }:‑) 8/10
  16. 1. What's your thoughts on how your season's gone so far? My individual presentation is doing good although with a little bit of luck we could've won some more tight games but all well it doesn't really matter right now 2. How long into a season does it take you to get back in your groove? At least 10 games, after that I have usually found my rhythm 3. What are you focusing on the most right now in practice? My puck handling to be able to be the ultimate puck protector 4. How are you enjoying the VHLE so far? Or paying any attention at all? I have not payed attention to it at all if I'm going to be honest 5. What's your favorite thing to do around Helsinki? Easily to ski 6. Are you somebody who likes the snow? (Warning if you're not: There's a lot in Finland.) As long as it doesn't go inside my clothes I love it

    RAnt

Alright so no trivia = no free tpe so I have to rant sum, and why not the subject i've ranted most about in my ranting history here in the vhl VHL Practice facility tpe Earning less tpe from practice facility in the VHL than the VHLM is an unsmart move, you want to work and strive harder in the VHL to become the best you can so why is it logical to to earn less tpe here. That's where the new system comes into the works. The longer you stay on a team the more practice facility tpe you earn, adds 1 more tpe per 2 seasons you are with a team at a cap of 3 tpe at max. For example. Player A has been playing for the same team for 6 season thus he earns 3 tpe everytime he hits the practice facility button but player B only earns 1 as he recently signed an fa deal with a new team thus re-setting the timer. Makes sense? absolutely.
  18. Sky Hockey news are here to interview Helsinki's ppg right wing Gustislav Nasherov Gustislav Nasherov! you are now on a ppg streak and have scored 24 points in 22 games! how do you feel about that? It feels great! I am starting to achieve what I want in the VHL and I'm not playing bad! Even though we are not winning much it matters more that we don't give up and try as hard as we can! right now we don't have the best team but we have still won 5 out of 22 which is because we never give up! no matter how bad it goes we never give up and in the end that will help us. The new guys are also getting tons of ice time which is great for player development to turn them into even better players in the future! if we keep giving the new guys this time they will become vital players in no-time. I see, what do you most look forward to this season? Gotta be to see the fans at the arena. Nothing beats a packed arena chanting for us, even though we are not playing the best hockey they are still with us, like real fans. I am sure that it is not just me who loves to hear the fans jump up in happiness after scoring a goal or the tendy making a nice save, it really boosts the confidence of the team and helps us perform better. I would also say that the draft is something I look forward to, it's always fun with the draft because we get to meet new people and get to know them. Believe it or not we have even more draft picks this draft with 3 firsts and 4 seconds so I will surely meet tons of new teammates and new friends! I can't wait. When do you think Helsinki will be playoff contenders again? In the near future definitely, with the prospects we have gathered and the playtime we give them its bound that we will be battling for that sweet trophy, when is a question that can not be answered, it's a bad omen. For example if I said "We will win in 2 season" and we do really well when we get to that final series we will get jinxed 0-4 in the series. Never ever and I mean never has saying those words turned out good. It is a much safer card to play if you don't specify when. So my answer is in the near future because I don't want to jinx this team, I really enjoy being here and I really want to bring a cup home to Helsinki, if I do now or in 5 season we will never know but will it happen? yes and you can keep my word with that. With that the interview is over. We'll see you next time! good luck with team and whatever you are doing outside of hockey! Thanks! have a good one you too! Claiming for what ever week it is word count: 518
  19. With the VHLE draft done the (insert tele broadcast here) are present to interview Gustislav Nasherov who recently signed a new contract with the Helsinki Titans who also had the first round pick. Congratulations Nasherov on the new contract, what was the breaking point to re-signing here and not leaving for another team? Really just that I love Helsinki from the bottom of my heart, I've always wanted to be the loyal player and Helsinki has ended the beginning of their rebuilding face, I am overall just happy to have been offered the contract as it shows that the GM notices me, I could not be happier with the situation right now. With the first overall pick Helsinki selected Xavier Booberry G, what do you think made the GM want to draft him at first? Every top tier team needs a goalie that is stable, if the team slips up he's there to save the day, I've also heard tons of Xavier last season and he is the person we want in a team. The goalie is the backbone of the team and I'm 90% sure we found him.
  20. In all honesty very well done. I would not be surprised if that was an actual ad, the VHLE url at the bottom is a huge + too, a new concept too instead of the same old player style, new ideas should be more used in graphics. Makes the maker be mire creative and explore new stuff other than the same old render + names + effect = 6 tpe
  21. Review: I really like the letters in the background to start off with, the colors were very wisely picked too. A small detail that I like is that the names color matches the jersey which makes the graphic better. Only thing I'd change would be the logos, swapped those for the "real" logo and there wouldn't be much to complain about. 8.5/10
  22. 1) It's over. A heartbreaking loss in the finals. What was your reaction to game 5? The curse lives on, an amazing season then a heartbreaking ending in the finals. But I've got a feeling that next time Mississauga will get a cup 2) Malmo has defeated Seattle in 6 games to claim the Continental Cup, did you see this coming? Yes, Seattle has played so many finals they are getting tired if playing so many games per season 3) What are your plans for S80? Tpe and the usual social stuff 4) Do you prefer to write articles, design graphics, record podcasts, or claim welfare? Welfare is the easiest but I feel the best doing pt's 5) What VHLE team do you hope to be drafted by? (If you aren't in the draft, answer with your favorite team) Favorite team in the VHLE is easily Västerås 6) How long will it take for Mississauga to be a contender again? Nohbody will bring Mississauga back to the finals in no time without a doubt.
  23. Review: I haven't seen a captaincy sig in a while so this is fun! I really like the logo swaps you did along with the transparent background you used, the outlines on the players made them standout from the background which I don't see too many people do, well done on that part! I would put a small effect or two in the background along with the logo that would fit in, right now it looks a little too plain for my taste, also a way to know which player is which. It's hard to know which of the alternate captains is Johnny Xavier and which is Timmy Swearingen. Other than that good job! 8/10
  24. Review: I really love the black and white "flowy" background you use, I also really like that you stuck with those colors all around the sig instead of changing it up. I would really like if you would make the name stand out more, perhaps make it lighter or something else. I don't know about you but I personally don't like the light in the picture, seems kinda odd to me. Other than that I really like it! 8.75/10
