  2. I am applying! I look forward to hearing from you!
  3. PRESS CONFERENCE: Week of July 18th, 2021 (You don't have to answer every single one, just answer 6 for 2 TPE) 1. With the off-season officially beginning, the World Cup and WJC are right around the corner! Are you excited to see these happen? What team are you cheering for? 2. Several members of the Reapers have already been chosen for a WJC team ( @Darth Kaprizov Sr.and @Spaz), with 4 teams left to be named, do you think you'll be on one of them? 3. What is your way too early prediction of our final record next season? 4. In the upcoming draft our earliest pick is in the 3rd round, do you think we should draft the best available player or focus on positional need? 5. What team do you think will be the team to beat next season? What team do you think will be our biggest rival? 6. What are your off-season plans for training? 7. Did you watch the Euro finals? What team were you cheering for? 8. What is your favourite summer sport? 9. Pudding is an underrated dessert, thoughts?
  4. Team Canada F TPA F TPA F TPA Total TPA Dakota Lamb 907 SS Hornet 957 Groovy Dood 896 F 5201 Dominic Gobeil 788 Jeffery Pines 948 Nathan Perry 705 D 3489 D D G G 1350 Erik Killinger 963 Tyler Walker 835 Jacob Tonn 975 Alex Letang 858 Matty Socks 833 ClapbombsRUs 375 The season S76 World Cup silver medalists will look to find further success, they come into the tournament with the top rated defense and solid depth in their forward group. Notably, in net they have 2 time Greg Clegane Trophy and 1 time Aidan Shaw Trophy winner Jacob Tonn @MexicanCow123 will look to add a world cup gold to their trophy case to finish off their career. Their forward group is lead by SS Hornet @McWolf and Jeffery Pines @rory who are both coming off of very solid seasons. Lastly, Canada’s D-core looks terrifying and should be able to dominate all tournament long and features Erik Killinger @Peace, who like Tonn is looking to add a gold medal to their trophy case before retirement. Expect to see this team winning games with their defensive superiority and stelar goaltending. Projected Finish: Second Team United States of America F TPA F TPA F TPA Total TPA Thomas Landry II 1085 Isabella Campbell 974 Justin Lose 840 F 5467 Robin Winter 803 John Merrick 965 Addison McLaren 800 D 2701 D D G G 1598 General Zod 761 Jolly Greene Giant 727 Stone Wolski 812 Randy Marsh 676 Bob Tristan 537 Thadius Sales 786 This season’s edition of the team from the United States is very top heavy and offensive based to say the least. The team will be reliant on their offence to carry them through the tournament as their defensive group is not the strongest we have seen. However, with Isabella Campbell @Banackock and John Merrick @Steve down the middle and S78 VHL leading goal scorer Robin Winter @Sonnet this team will produce goals. In net we will be seeing a tandem of Stone Wolski @DollarAndADream and Thadius Sales @thadthrasher, these two will be put to the test and will hopefully be able to assist in making the USA medal contenders once again. We should see this team involved in quite a few high scoring battles as their offense will look to power their way through opponents. Projected Finish: Fourth Team Western Europe F TPA F TPA F TPA Total TPA Ryan Schwarz 805 Cabe McJake 915 Uhtred 767 F 4535 Artair McCloud 693 Leo Strauss 705 Phil The Rock Johnson 650 D 3178 D D G G 1482 Roque Davis 1080 Chris Hylands 774 Artem Tretiak 745 DeFenz Mann 556 Micah Adrienne 768 Kunibuni UnGuri 737 The top end talent of Team Western Europe is quite impressive, lead by Roque Davis @Josh and Cabe McJake @Red, this team has some clear star players. The main issue with the Western Europe team is the depth as their second forward line and D-pair will be just shy of par with the rest of the teams. With that being said, there’s a real chance that with their top end talent and solid goaltending with a combination of Artem Tretiak @Molholt and Kunibuni UnGuri @Berocka this team could make some noise. Projected Finish: Sixth Team Nordic F TPA F TPA F TPA Total TPA Aloe Dear 978 Valtteri Vaakanainen 945 Venus Thightrap 850 F 5434 Luke Thornton 960 Julian Nousiainen 876 Onde Sandstrom 825 D 3232 D D G G 1136 Kasper Kankkunen 920 Spencer Elsby 802 Zamboni Driver 751 Linus Zetterstrom 721 Battre Sandstrom 789 Aksu Maronen 385 The Season S76 bronze medalists will be looking to improve on that and claim the gold. Offensively this team knows how to put up points, lead by S78 VHL leading scorer Aloe Dear @Renomitsu and Luke Thornton @Jtv123 this team looks very promising. In terms of point production during the season 78 VHL season this team is ranked first in both points scored by forwards and defensemen (collectively by a margin of 80 points). With Zamboni Driver @Tape-to-Tape in goal this team should have no problem keeping the puck out of their own net. Team Nordic is without a doubt the team to beat this world cup. Projected Finish: First Team World F TPA F TPA F TPA Total TPA Lee Xin 839 Christian Mingle 975 Pistil Stamen 825 F 5192 Jim Bob 835 Taro Tsujimoto 930 The Terrible Trivium 788 D 3148 D D G G 1664 Latrell Mitchell 943 Marshall James Frostbeard 778 Doug Dimmadome 880 Victor Grachev 744 Kosmo Kramerev 683 Sirkants Klamasteris 784 Team World has a very similar make-up to that of Team USA of having a strong offence and a top heavy D-core lead by Latrell Mitchell @dasboot, the main difference between them and the States is that the difference between the two is to much less of a degree. Team world also features the best goaltending tandem of the tournament with Doug Dimmadome @Esso2264 and Sirkants Klamasteris @hedgehog337 which will need to be solid in every game to get past the competition as they are one of the main strengths of Team World. Projected Finish: Third Team Mercenaries F TPA F TPA F TPA Total TPA Timothy Brown 785 Andrew Su 779 Red Lite 798 F 4607 Jungkok 740 Lester Green 755 Patrik Laine 750 D 3011 D D G G 1571 James Rose 807 Scotty Kaberle 765 Jean Pierre Camus 798 Tom Eagles 743 Kristof Welch 696 Rara Rasputin 773 Last years gold medalists seem to have taken a step back this season, as they come in with the 5th ranked forward and defence groups and the third ranked goalie tandem. Lead by returning goalie and reigning World Cup MVP Jean Pierre Camus @solas this team is nothing to take lightly even with their lower TPA compared to the other teams. With that being said this team is the dark horse to win the whole thing as if Camus plays like they did in S76, and if their offense can contribute, they could pull off a few upsets. Projected Finish: Fifth Realistically, this tournament is anyone’s for the taking and only time will tell what team wins the season 78 World Cup!
  5. Review: The graphic is well made, and I do like it as a whole. I find myself liking it more the longer I look at it as at first glance it took me a minute to put things together. I do like the choice of text and it contrast well with the background, additionally the effect used does suit the image well. 8.5/10
  6. Review: The graphic is solid as a whole. I like the image chosen as well as the use of the logo as a background. The text is basic and clean. All in all it's a solid graphic however, it would benefit from just some more attention to detail and being a bit more complex to really catch someone's eye. 7.5/10

  12. Review: I like he concept of having a season review graphic, it does seem fairly basic and could use some more detail (how many goals did they score). All the text is very easy to read and the background is well done with the team logo. Great job! 8/10
  13. Review: I like the concept a lot! the jersey and logo swap are very clean and well done! My only criticism is that the team names are difficult to read in places. All in all well done! 8/10
  14. I will also be applying! I would be thrilled to be the GM of any team.
  15. During the past two seasons Alex Johnston has left his mark on the VHLM starting out as a waiver signing with the Yukon rush, Johnston would go onto be selected first overall in the S78 VHLM draft by the Philadelphia Reapers where he would have a phenomenal season scoring 59 goals and a total of 118 points. During his VHLM career Johnston played a total of 124 games (52 with Yukon) and scored a total of 83 goals, and 85 assists for a total of 168 points. Johnston's growth has been impressive as well currently at 353 TPE, he is the 7th highest from the S77 draft class and has the most TPE out of everyone in the entire VHLM. Next season Johnston will be making the jump to the VHL with the Calgary Wranglers who selected him 8th overall in the S78 VHL draft. When asked about his VHL(M) career so far Johnston had this to say: "I have really enjoyed my time in the VHLM with both Philadelphia and Yukon, I am happy that I did get the chance to play some playoff hockey this season all though it did not end the way I wanted. Going forward my focus is on being the best player I can be and making Calgary better as a whole." After some pause, Johnston added: "I want to prove everyone wrong who skipped over me in the VHL draft, I'm hoping to improve as much as possible in the coming weeks so I can be in prime shape for when I make my VHL debut in S79 and hopefully be an impact player at the VHL level."
  16. I'll apply! I've sent both you and @diamond_ace my resume over Discord!
  17. PRESS CONFERENCE: Week of July 4th, 2021 (You don't have to answer every single one, just answer 6 for 2 TPE) 1. Well, we have been eliminated in 6 by San Diego from the playoffs. Do you have any takeaways from the first round? 2. What team do you want to see win the Founder's cup this season? 3. A few of our players are off the the VHL next season, do you have any words for these players? 4. If you are draft eligible (VHL or VHLM) in what round and to what team do you hope to be drafted by? 5. How do you see the next two rounds of the playoffs shaping up? 6. With the season ending what are your thoughts on the season as a whole, and what would you change for next season if anything? 7. Tampa vs. Montreal, who takes it? I have Tampa in 6, with Carey Price still winning the Conn Smythe. 8. If you could only listen to one song for the rest of your life what would it be? 9. Who is your favourite superhero?

Here we go with the last 10 2nd overall picks in the VHLM draft! S69 – Edwin THE Encarnacion @Tagger Individual Accolades: S69 – Founder’s Cup S69 – Skylar Rift Trophy S72 – Victory Cup S75 – Victory Cup Career Statistics: League GP G A P +/- SHT PIM HIT SB VHL 504 106 324 430 71 1453 315 497 635 VHLM 98 39 102 141 87 296 96 197 119 The season 69 second overall pick had a great season with Saskatoon following the draft scoring 28 goals and 94 assists for a total of 122 points. They were also drafted 12th overall in the season 71 VHL draft to the Seattle Bears, before their first VHL game they would be traded to Malmo, they would also be traded before the start of S75 to Riga. Their time with Halifax was average at best as he only put up 14 goals and 37 assists in 72 games, and in the playoffs, they were even less effective in the post-season as they failed to register a point in 7 games. Akerstrom would be selected 15th overall in the season 74 VHL draft by Helsinki and would be traded to Vancouver halfway through their rookie campaign where their production would improve substantially.
