TheNeonShaman reacted to Thunder in Big Payout on John Jameson Wager
There were some shocking payouts this week with the VHL Virtual Bookie.  The biggest impact on this was because it is playoffs and the odds were applied to all the games.  Now that the round is over, here are some highlights.

The New York Seattle series ended with more goals per game than predicted, costing the Bookie 515 in wages.  The Bookie bounced back by counting on Wwwwwwwwwwww Wwwwwwwwwwww @rory to make over 35.5 saves, which he did 3 out of the 4 games, increasing the Bookie’s pockets by 990.  FISTED ANALLY BY A CIRCUS MONKEY Analfist @STZ split the shots on goal, by going over 5.5 twice, and under twice.  The biggest loss for the Bookie was placing a wager of 1000 on Daryl Dixon, @Ricer13to score over 2.5 points.  Unfortunately, Dixon was flat the entire series.

On the Toronto/DC series, the Bookie picked up 500 on Bobby Bob @Baby Boomer, only to lose 100 hoping for The Frenchman @OrbitingDeath , to get the first star.  The Bookie managed to add 200 from a wager on the puck line.

The Malmo/Moscow series was lucrative for the bookie, thanks to Gregger McKeggegger @TheNeonShaman getting over 4.5 shots per game.  The Bookie got 3500 out of that wager.  Adding a 400 money line wager made up for the 100 wasted on hoping for Reese McFleury @Spaz to get second star.  The Bookie should have placed a wager on Grimgor Ironhide, @FrostBeard getting the third star, as that payout was 12000.

The big payout came from the London/Prague series.  The Bookie placed a 500 wager on John Jameson @Frank to win 45000, and it paid off.  Jackpot!!  Thank you John Jameson.  And the biggest disappointment goes to Rip Wheeler, @ScottyP.  A 1000 wager was placed by @Tetricide to win 250000.  Go big or go home, and tetricide went home sad.

I don't like losing... after being swept in the finals, got the team to commit coming back for another run, and now I add to that already outstanding core.

@TheNeonShaman couldn't have asked for a more loyal and amazing player during your time with LA. I thank you so much for being with us and I do hope that life gets less busy for you, and you can thrive in Riga!

@RileyL A huge piece to the puzzle for LA, if this is going to be our last run for a little bit, I figure why not make it our best? Let's have some fun!

TheNeonShaman reacted to KRZY in S90 LA Stars and their NHL Counterparts
We are at the 1/3 mark of the regular season in season 90 . And that’s usually where I do my comparisons to NHL counterparts . I’m particularly excited to share this seasons edition with how special a team the Stars are this year. Without further a do let’s get started .

    Forwards

    Napoleon Dynamite @thadthrasher
    Jack Eichel

I think this is the perfect comparison for the resident dancing guru on the Stars , Dynamite has always been an Uber talented forward , This season with the Stars Dynamite has experienced a real breakout season and found some nice chemistry with long time Star Todd Cooke ! Dynamite is a full 200 foot player and has come as advertised when LA traded for him in the off season.

    Todd Cooke
    Leon Draisaitl

Cooke has started this season on an absolute tear , looking to finally establish himself as a top tier centre in the VHL . Boy has he done that and more a leader or near the top of most statistical categories this season Cooke has done a good job at putting himself in the Conversation with other top players in the VHL . I for one can’t wait to see where he will be sitting when the season comes to an end.

    Svatopluk Puk @Otaznik
    Mitch Marner

Puk also came over in the trade with New York in the off season and has been everything LA has needed and wanted when they acquired him , Puk had been on an absolute year the last few sims currently sitting with 33 points in 27 games . Once he found his feet and got up and running he hasn’t looked back . Puks an exciting 2 way winger and has proven to be an important piece to the puzzle for the Stars this season.

    Sunglasse Joyo @JetsGoalie101
    Andrei Kuzmenko

The Fan favourite Sunglasses wearing Centre has been crucial for the Stars this on special teams , Joyo has been lights out on the power play and penalty kill and every other situation the Stars have put him in he’s succeeded. Always willing to put the team first . Joyo is nearly producing at a point per game , if he keeps capitalizing on his opportunities I see him producing at a point per fame or better by the end of this season . All while wearing his Sunglasses.

    Gregger Mckeggegger @TheNeonShaman
    Nick Richie

Mckeggegger is a HUGE. Power forward who uses his size and skill to get to the dirty areas and wear his opponent’s down , this young promising winger is gonna be tremendously good once he fully develops and adjusts to the VHL game fully . Mckeggegger is only gonna continue to get better as his career progresses.

    Adam Rage @MrMom
    Blake Coleman

Rage is another hard nosed young player in the Stars lineup , plays hard every night and like Mckeggegger goes to this dirty area to make the play . Rage was a late addition to the team in the offseason but what a welcome addition he’s been. Hopefully this is just the beginning of rages success in LA.

    Defence

    Elais Lampi @Pifferfish
    Cale Makar

The newest addition to the LA Stars backend reminds me a lot of Makar in that he’s always in the right position to make a play and sees the ice so incredibly well. Lampi was acquired early this off season and he’s been a solider on the back end and looks like he will be the top d man on this team for many years to come .

    Callum Murray @Berocka
    Victor Hedman

The longtime Stars defender is in his final season as a member of the Stars , this hard hitting blue liner is everything you could ever want in a Defenceman and a captain to your team . This year LA will no doubt try and win a cup for him in his farewell season.

    Jens Lekman @Bobcat
    Miro Heiskanen

Lekman is a returning young player this season with a lot of upside ! He will join Lampi as the future of the Stars blue line for seasons to come ! Lekman is very rarely caught out of position . He seemingly always does the right thing with the puck . Lekman is truly an important piece to the Stars !

    Goalies

    Art Vandelay @Gustav
    Ilya Sorokin

Vandelay has been a top goalie and one of the best in the VHL for a longtime now so it’s not surprising that I compared him to sorokin he truthfully deserves every word of that praise . Vandelay is in the midst of a career season right now and doesn’t look to be slowing down at all anytime soon.

    Matthew Mckagg @Jack kidd
    Stuart Skinner

Mckagg is a young goalie full of promise making his debut for the Stars , under Vandelays guidance and tutalage he could turn out to be a very good goalie in years to come .

    @InstantRockstar Joe Sakic

Rockstar is always finding ways to improve his team and make them better , whether it’s finding talent in the draft or making trades . Rockstar always has the best interest of his team in mind . And that sure shows this season as he’s turned LA into a powerhouse in the season.

there you have it some of these comparisons we’re no brainers some were harder then I thought they’d be , hope you enjoy reading this and cheers !!

TheNeonShaman reacted to KRZY in LA Stars Season 90 Preview
With Season 90 getting underway I figured now is just a good of time as any to give you a sneak peak at the season 90 version of you LA Stars. This seasons squad looks quite different then past years , as there has been quite the influx of new players along with the regular faces you are used to seeing around Los Angeles.

Lets get started with the forward core suiting up for the stars this season.

    C - Todd Cooke
The last 2 seasons Cooke has done a good job establishing himself as a household name . This season however Cooke really would like to take another step forward and establish himself as a top 10-5 player in the VHL . He’s consistently gotten better every season in his VHL career so far the LA lifer will do everything in his power to accomplish this goal and bring a Cup to The Stars aswell.

    C - Napoleon Dynamite ( @thadthrasher )
The Dynamic forward is one of the many first year Stars playing in LA this season . The Stars struck gold when they acquired Dynamite in a trade with New York earlier this season . I fully anticipate Dynamite having a career year this season playing in LA alongside Cooke , Puk and Joyo .

    RW - Svatopluk Puk ( @Otaznik )
This Veteran Winger brings loads of experience and a very well rounded game to the Stars , Puk has put up good numbers and always been a contributor wherever he’s played throughout his career . On the tail end of his career you can bet he’s looking to help achieve the goal of playing for a Continental Cup this season.

    C - Sunglasse Joyo ( @JetsGoalie101 )
The always charismatic Joyo returns to LA for his fourth season for the Stars , each year we’ve seen steady improvements in Joyos game with sunglasses on of course ! I fully expect to see much the same this season and Joyo to have another career high season.

    LW - Gregger Mckeggegger ( @TheNeonShaman )
Mckeggegger returns for his sophomore season looking to improve and earn more i time and responsibility on the ice . I fully expect Gregger to be given ever opportunity to succeed and improve on and off the ice this season . Mckeggegger has all the tools and making of a future star in the league it’s just a matter of time !

    RW - Adam Rage ( @MrMom )
Rage was acquired in a late season trade with Moscow and will be relied upon to fill out LA’s Forward group . Much like Mckeggegger he will be given ample opportunities to prove himself throughout that season , and looks to be a big part of LA’s future moving forward.

Next we’ll move on to the Defenceman manning the blue line for the Stars this season.

    Callum Murray ( @Berocka)
Taking over as Captain of this years Stars team in his final farewell season Murray is the longest tenured skater on the team and is very deserving of the captain’s C always willing to do whatever is needed to try and get his team the W . Murray would like nothing more then to lead the Stars to a Continental Cup in his Final season before retirement.

    Elias Lampi ( @Pifferfish )
Lampi came over in a monster trade with Seattle early in the off season and after having a career year he will look to bring that momentum to LA and further breakout as a top defenceman for the Stars and carry the torch after Murray leaves at the conclusion of this season. Lampi will no doubt prove to be an important addition throughout the season.

    Jens Lekman ( @Bobcat )
Lekman is a young hard hitting puck moving defender that like Lampi will be a very very important player for the Stars going forward . Lekman is coming of a career best season last year and there’s no reason he can’t improve on those numbers this season.

And with that we’ll finish off with the Goalies.

    Art Vandelay ( @Gustav  )
Vandelay has been with the Srars for as long as Murray has and in that time he’s solidified himself as a top goalie in the league. The stars hit the jackpot taking him first overall way back in the season 84 draft. Vandelay will in my opinion be the most important player for the Stars this season !

    Matthew McCagg ( @Jack kidd )
McCagg is the lone rookie the Stars have this season . Coming in as backup McCagg is in one hell of a good spot learning from one of the best goalies the league has to offer . McCagg will take these next few years to grow and learn and eventually he might earn the started spot a few seasons down the road . One things forsure it will take a lot of work if that’s what he’s shooting for .

@InstantRockstar has done a very good job turning around a team that looked like theyd  be stuck in the mud meddling around no man’s land trying to fight for a wildcard spot into a true dark horse contender in the NA Conference.

Joe Smith : Welcome back to the show folks! Today I've got Los Angeles Stars rookie Gregger McKeggegger with me to talk about their wild season and how it's been for him! Kegger how's it going?
Gregger McKeggegger : It's going good Joe, happy to have made it into the playoffs!
Smith : That's right, you did finally clinch tonight with only a couple games left! Congratulations!
McKeggegger : Thanks Joe, really proud of the whole team.
Smith : With the first half of the season you had, was there ever any doubt in the locker room about making it into the playoffs?
McKeggegger : I had some nerves, some of the other younger guys did as well. But there's nothing like having leaders like Sirdsy and Clix helped to give us some confidence, and I feel like once we started to build momentum, it brought us the confidence we needed to go on that great end of season run.
Smith : Is there an urge in the locker room to get these leaders a championship here before they retire?
McKeggegger : Undoubtedly. Guys like Coins and Sirdsy are done after this. There's a sense around the locker room that we've got to get it done.
Smith : Speaking of Jason Coiner, there was some controversy about the work done at the trade deadline and if it had strengthened or weakened the team. What were the initial reactions to core players such as Nezuko and Dabnad Shaw getting traded?
McKeggegger : Well it's never easy. I had so much fun on the ice with both of them, and learned a lot too. Especially because of their respective reputations and the quality of careers they've had, it was a tough loss for the whole team. However Coins came in and instantly made an impact, personality wise and through amazing play. I've got a lot of respect for Coins just based on how they fought their way through the minor leagues and the VHLE for more seasons than most, and then once they got into the VHL fought some more on a fading and then rebuilding team. Now Coins has a shot at their only championship in their last season. I think they were just the missing piece we needed. Johnny and Benny also came in and fit really well.
Smith : It was really a remarkable thing to see this team fight all the way back and earn the playoff spot. Now that you've made it this far, do you think this is a special team that could potentially make waves this postseason?
McKeggegger : I'm not going to say anything about how I think we'll do. I'm a little too superstitious to do that. However I do believe that we've got a ton of chemistry, and that we've got some great momentum heading into the playoffs.
Smith : Alright Kegger, well I'm so excited to see how the Stars perform this playoffs, maybe we see a fairytale run! Thanks for coming on the show, hopefully we can chat again soon!
McKeggegger : It was a pleasure as always, thanks for having me!

TheNeonShaman got a reaction from Pifferfish in Gregger McKeggegger Scouting Report
    Gregger McKeggegger

Gregger McKeggegger is a 6'5", now 23 year old left winger. The two-way forward is set to make his VHL debut tomorrow for the Los Angeles Kings. The young winger has already had quite the career spanning the VHLM, VHLE, and World Junior Championships. After a fascinating journey through the lower leagues, Gregger is ready to make the jump to the VHL and show the league what he's got. Now to look back at his career in the lower leagues to see if he has what it takes to make a difference in the big league.

    VHLM

Gregger was drafted 9th overall to the Ottawa Lynx (After playing the end of S86 with the Philadelphia Reapers as a free agent). He did not wait long to make his impact and enjoyed immense success in a system and locker room that seemed tailored to him. Gregger dominated the league, finishing the 72 game season with 62 goals and 62 assists for a staggering 124 points. The team gelled together so well and there were many great memories for Gregger. He finished 5th in league scoring, tied for 2nd in goals, and was 10th in assists. McKeggegger has also displayed no hesitation to shoot the puck, as he led the VHLM in shots taken and had an average of 6.76 shots per game. He also had the clutch factor, tying the league lead for game winning goals with 14. Heading into the playoffs, Gregger continued his impressive scoring, and led the Lynx in scoring, finished 3rd league wide in playoff scoring, 1st in goals, 5th in assists, and shot even more with 7.18 shots per playoff game. All of this led up to the Ottawa Lynx lifting the Founder's Cup, Gregger McKeggegger's first trophy.

    VHLE

After Gregger's success in the M, he was drafted 11th overall by the Oslo Storm in the VHLE. His first reaction is that he should have gone earlier. To prove everyone who passed on him wrong, he wanted to have another phenomenal season. It didn't start great though; he wasn't putting up a lot of points and was well behind a point per game. However, when things started to click, they really clicked. Gregger finished 8th in league scoring with 87 points and tied for 4th in goals with 40. He also continued to pile the pucks on net, even in the more difficult league, Gregger had 408 shots and 5.67 shots per game. He also continued to come in clutch and tied three others for third in the league in game winning goals (7). Oslo stepped confidently into the playoffs, even with playing their rivals the Cologne Express. After a hard fought 7 game series, the Storm made it to the finals and they took care of business. Gregger McKeggegger has won championships in both leagues he played in, in the one season he did in each. During the playoffs Gregger wasn't the top player on his team, but he still had 13 points in 13 games, and tied for the 4th most goals in the playoffs (6). The shots continued as well (5.46 shots per game).

    WJC

On a more worldwide scale, Gregger played for two years on the US world juniors team. In the first year, McKeggegger was a bottom of the lineup player, only contributing 2 points in the first 14 games, and then in the playoffs he had just one assist. However, the US went on to win gold, and Gregger went home with some bling. Then the S88 world juniors came along, and Gregger was hyped to be involved. He was a top line player and did not disappoint. In the US's amazing regular season, Gregger had 17 points in those 10 games. Unfortunately, the US lost in the semifinals, with McKeggegger nowhere to be found. Their journey wasn't over however, the bronze medal game was still to be played, and what a game that turned out to be. In a wild matchup against Canada, the US went down two goals heading into the third when suddenly, the team (and McKeggegger especially) clicked. He started off the period getting an assist to cut the deficit to 1. Then with just over 5 minutes to go, he scored a power play goal and tied the game. Then in overtime, Gregger McKeggegger was the US hero, potting the bronze medal winning goal.

TheNeonShaman got a reaction from Subject056 in Reviewing Pre-Season Breakout Candidates from Every Team
Here's a link to the predictions if you haven't read it yet:

Right before the season started I made predictions on breakout candidates for every single VHL team. Now I think it’s a perfect time to review! Also it’s worth noting that my definition of breaking out usually hovers around getting at least 50 points, though with some players in the previous article I made more specific predictions, so my judgment might be different depending on the player. Yes I do brag when I get a prediction right.

    Calgary Wranglers
    Vincent Laroche-Gagnier @vincentlg2007 (S86)

VLG put up 21 goals and 43 points total in 72 games. He didn’t manage to break 55 points like I expected, even with the two elite centers. I wouldn’t call it a bad season or a failure, but it’s just a little lower than I expected. Still plenty of time for VLG to breakout.

    Chicago Phoenix
    Alexander Minion @UnknownMinion (S85)

What a season for Minion. Finally put into a starting role, they got almost 40 wins and boasted a sparkling 0.923 save percentage. Minion backstopped the Phoenix to the 4th best record in the league. Even in Chicago’s in and out of the playoffs, Minion had a 0.939 save percentage, proving the Phoenix should be confident in goaltending for seasons to come.

    DC Dragons
    Lucas Grey @emidas (S86)

With a 21 point season, it would be hard to say that Grey broke out. However, the Dragons were also last in the league, so some of the lack of production might have been an across the team epidemic.

    HC Davos Dynamo
    Lachlan Summers @kirbithan (S86)

I should just predict goalies at this point. Summers had a stellar season (just as expected, not to pat myself on the back). Just like Minion, Summers had nearly 40 wins, but put up the 3rd best save percentage in the league to go with it (0.932). She had a good playoff performance too, not nearly as good but still with a 0.920 save percentage and 7 wins before Davos bowed out.

    Helsinki Titans
    Daryl Dixon @Ricer13 (S86)

I’m super proud of this one. I didn’t just say Dixon would breakout, I said he would be over a point per game, and I was right. Dixon was a bright spot on an otherwise gray season for the Titans. I would not be surprised to see him have another fantastic year next year.

    London United
    Leonard Triller @Triller (S86)

I would say it was a decent year. Calling it a breakout might stretch it a little, however a 47 point rookie season is pretty good. I would be surprised if Triller didn’t start to make a big impact in London going forward, but this season wasn’t as big as I expected with the star power down the middle that London has.

    Los Angeles Stars
    Sunglasses Joyo @JetsGoalie101 (S85)

I was really hoping that I could hit on this one, but unfortunately Sunglasses did not hit the 55 point mark I predicted. However, with a 51 point season I think it’s safe to say Joyo definitely contributed quite a bit to the depth of the Stars, and helped to make them a better team. It’s hard to call it a breakout, as Joyo had 38 points last year, so I was looking for just a little more. A solid season nonetheless.

    Malmo Nighthawks
    Yaroslav Trunov @qripll (S87)

Trunov did not breakout, scoring 38 points on a rebuilding Malmo team. I may have been premature in thinking that more ice time would help, and Trunov was even outscored by the Nighthawks 1st round pick from the season 88 draft in defenseman Jacob Stone. However there’s no reason to panic on the young winger, and I’m sure Trunov will find his footing sooner rather than later.

    Moscow Menace
    Left Alone @okochastar (S86)

Left Alone had a nice solid season. 43 points is actually a great jump up from last season in Seattle, where they had 14 points. Playing pretty far down the depth chart, one could only hope that Alone might get some more opportunities next season and showcase some more of the obvious talent. Is it a breakout? I would say it could be considered one. 43 points isn’t as high as some players that didn’t have breakout seasons, but Alone increased their season point total by nearly 30, which is very impressive and a much bigger increase than other players showed.

    New York Americans
    Babay Shrimp @Blazzer (S85)

With one of the higher point totals of the players on this list, Shrimp manages to still not hit my expectation of 60. I feel a little bad saying Shrimp didn’t break out though, as 57 is very close and a good point total. 16 points better than her previous best season. A very solid year for Shrimp.

    Prague Phantoms
    Nikolas Kauppi @Tetricide (S85)

With no players left to breakout on the Phantoms. I gave Kauppi the expectations of exceeding his rookie year total of 54 and getting close to point per game. Unfortunately he did the opposite, and the sophomore slump took Kauppi down to 39 points. A rough year for the winger.

    Riga Reign
    Skor McFleury @Alex (S87)

McFleury had a great year. 55 points and not to mention 23 goals as a defenseman. I would say he’s made a name for himself as a very talented defenseman in this league. I said Skor would take a big step towards being a point per game, and I would say while not the biggest step, it’s still big enough to classify as breaking out. Especially as a defenseman.

    Seattle Bears
    Yaroslav Bogatyrev @Bojovnik (S86)

It feels so good to hit on some of my more ambitious predictions. In Seattle I could have gone with talented rookie Randy Bobandy, and I would have been right there too as Bobandy had a very nice 60 point sophomore year. However I decided to shoot my shot and predict that Bogatyrev would not only breakout, but put up 70+ points this year. With a very nice 77 point season, I would say that matches the prediction. What a great season.

    Toronto Legion
    Jimi Jaks @kelvi (87)

Jaks had a decent rookie year. I wouldn’t really classify it as breaking out, but a 43 point rookie season is pretty good. I might be putting him back on next seasons list.

    Vancouver Wolves
    Wann Kerr @VattghernCZ (S86)

Kerr along with FISTED ANALLY BY A CIRCUS MONKEY Analfist and Oreo McFleury, who I also mentioned, did not break out. Kerr actually had the most points between them, with 43. Swing and a miss.

    Warsaw Predators
    Tim Riggins @Jayhawk (S87)

In hindsight it might have been wishful thinking for Riggins to break out, just barely eligible for the VHL out of the VHLE, Riggins probably wasn’t ready for the big leagues this year, only putting up 8 points. Better luck next year!

So out of the 16 predictions I made, 6 came true. There were also a few that were close but didn’t seem to me like breakouts, or I gave specific thresholds of points that didn’t get hit. Lots of young talent in the VHL, not everyone can be a star. But for the 6 players who did breakout, there are some new stars in the making ready to make some waves.

TheNeonShaman got a reaction from VattghernCZ in Reviewing Pre-Season Breakout Candidates from Every Team

Joey Sloth: *whenever Sloth talks, it's a little slow, and it kind of makes McKeggegger give him a look in the beginning* Congrates on the Cup Gregger! Let's start with the basics, how do you feel?
Gregger McKeggegger: You know Joey it's pure elation! The way the season started and how we found our form, then that insane first round against the Express, all of it leading to a great finals, really I'm just so happy to get it done with this group.
Sloth: That's very true. How did that first round series seem to prepare you for the finals?
McKeggegger: Well it's been a tough year for us against the Express. It was always a hard game against them, and they got the better of us in more of the meetings this season. We put everything on the line that series, and it was kind of a feeling around the locker room that if we won that series, we would win the finals. Winning that series was really just so satisfying and finally getting the better of them in the end meant so much.
Sloth: That rivalry was one of my personal favorites to watch throughout the season. A very climactic ending to it indeed. *long pause where McKeggegger looks around to see if he's good to go.* Gregger, how were you feeling when Rome took games 4 and 5. Was there any creeping worries about them pulling the impossible and winning four straight.
McKeggegger: Uh, you know that's always gonna start to creep in, but at the end of the day it's all about playing our game, and knowing that we are the better team and that as long as we stay focused on how we play, we will win. And it all ended up good in the end, really happy that we shut them down in game 6, a 7th game would have had nerves high.
Sloth: How does it feel to be able to lift that trophy over your head?
McKeggegger: Oh it's unbelievable. This season felt like a lot more of a fight all year than my season in Ottawa where things were just cruising most of the time. It really feels like we fought for this trophy and earned it, lifting it just makes it feel so real and incredible.
Sloth: I'm sure it does. *Sloth stares at the trophy in another Storm player's hands eagerly and a little creepily.*
    McKeggegger: Uh Joey?
Sloth: Now you have a very interesting storyline going for your career. You had one season in each of the VHLM and VHLE and won championships in both. Do you think you will be able to capture the Continental Cup and complete your trifecta?
McKeggegger: I mean of course it's on my mind. I would be lying if I said it wasn't something I wanted to do. I think with going up to this Los Angeles team, I'm so excited to jump into the VHL and really try to make an impact early on. And yeah, I want to win that Continental Cup, hopefully with LA!
Sloth: Alright Gregger, I'll let you go celebrate, can't wait to see what you will do next season! Congrats again!

    3. I attended to watch and I would say it was pretty entertaining. I'd never really seen Wheels in his element like that and it just made certain things about his personality make a lot of sense.
    4. Ah getting the puck in deep, get pucks on net. For real though I think smart play, hounding the puck and not giving the opponent space to play, and just staying consistent.
    5. I think he definitely should be, he's such an organized manager who cares about every team he sits in the office of. That's a guy who deserves a big job.
    6. Now that my soul has been crushed with the Bruins loss, I'm rooting for the winner of the Stars vs Kraken series. The only team in the east I feel okay rooting for is Jersey, so there's my picks.

    Finding the Balance

Going to Europe, Kegger didn't really take advantage of the opportunity at first. He was too determined to prove the teams that passed on him wrong, and that affected his game and his mood. He wasn't going out with teammates, opting instead to either hit the weight room or go over game footage. Kegger probably would have struggled that way the whole season. That was until yet another game without a point for him, teammate Rip Wheeler saw him going back to the weight room and caught him on his way there. Wheeler dragged Kegger to a local Oslo bar that they frequent, and after a few drinks, Kegger was having a blast. That night things changed. Kegger stopped taking every game he didn't score so personally. He started to live a little. He went all around Oslo with teammates, having a great time. He didn't stop his training either, he just finally found the importance of balance. And looking at his second half of the season, it's made an impact. Kegger has had a fantastic time, and the Oslo Storm locker room has become extremely close. With this, Oslo has rocketed up the standings, and Kegger has been having a blast. He's been putting up points like it's light work, and it's all because he let himself have a little fun.

Oslo has had so much to offer Gregger, he's had a great time going around and seeing the sights with teammates. He and Swinsola, former VHLM rivals, went and saw the Akershus Fortress, and then met up with Grizz Tazzo to have dinner at one of the city's most popular restaurants. That's what a typical night looked like for Kegger. Him, Swinsola, and Tazzo were a common trio, however he's spent time with every player on the team. It was a common message around the group that if they were looking for a crazy night, just hit up Rip Wheeler and you would probably forget what happened in the morning. As of this moment, McKeggegger and the Storm are 4th in the league, 1 point back of a tie for second and 4 points back of first. The way Kegger is preparing for a late season push for first? A mix of training, going to museums, seeing Oslo's natural beauty, hikes, and going to bars and partying. He's really taken advantage of the opportunity to play in Europe and it's showing.
