1. Hopefully not! I want Philly to win so we can say we lost to the Cup Champs. 2. I was following the Malmo Nighthawks in the VHL since my previous player just retired from there. Played two seasons there. 3. I’d bring the team to the Halifax Harbour and we’d all get piss drunk on boats since of course we are Boat Gang. 4. Bring in more recruitment drives, I don’t care about numbers around the league, more is always better, we can always expand the league. 5. I never follow NHL training camp but I’m excited to see my boy Cole Perfetti playing for the Jets. 6. Not sure, been a watching NFL mostly, but let’s go Winnipeg!!

1. An unfortunate loss for boat gang but we played our hearts out! I don’t think a strong playoff run was the goal for Halifax this season but it was still a lot of fun to play with Ricky to start our careers. 2. Bubbles likes to play with his kitties and giggle for a while to get ready for a big game. His kitties help calm him down and are his good luck charms. 3. Ricky was the best damn backup goalie I’ve ever seen. The guy’s a stud and will have a monster career between the pipes. 4. I love it! I’ve always enjoyed the VHLM more and I feel this will be a massive boost for new player connections to the league. 5. I would create a new team, The Sunnyvale Shit Hawks! Ricky would have to wear the C on his jersey of course. 6. I think we’ve tried it before but it’s never really stuck with the league. If we had a group of people who cared enough to run an all star game each season then I think it would be a fun thing to check in on. At the same time, players chosen for the game might be the only ones checking in.

With the announcement of the VHLE coming to an end I have no complaints. After winning a Renaissance Cup with my previous player in Oslo I really didn’t see the VHLE as something interesting for my new current player. What is exciting to me is that the VHLM can now have long term relationships with its players. As an ex-Houston GM I would have LOVED to manage a team of 0-400 TPA players and figure out the best strategies for that. I feel like connections and relationships within this community is what builds strong teams and I’m super happy that the VHLM gets a better taste of that. I joined the league in S78 and only got to experience two seasons of no VHLE, I vividly remember the VHLM being an amazing place to be back then, this new change seems so exciting to me. My new player Bubbles LaFleur joined the VHLM this season and will enter the S96 VHLM draft alongside his brother Ricky LaFleur @DarkSpyro. It’s been a lot of fun already recreating with a friend and we only just started! My activity and TPE earning haven’t been top notch but I am enjoying this player the most so far, always wanted to create a defenseman too. Spyro and myself hope to be drafted together in the VHLM and my mindset is to play two seasons there before playing 8 seasons in the VHL. We are really hoping to be drafted together in the VHL too and to play on the same team throughout our careers, but the VHLM draft is our first destination!

DeeeeeeeeCENT!

1. The team is sitting in 7th seed, a little more than 10 points ahead of Ottawa in 8th so I’d say our chances of clinching a playoff spot are pretty good. 2. I’ve been loving the start to my new player here in Halifax and it’s been a lot better being able to do it with @DarkSpyro too! 3. We have the heart of lion. Even though this team may not be the best points wise, we still believe we have a fighting chance each and every game. 4. The Boys Are Back In Town. Bubbles is from Nova Scotia so it makes sense in my head. 5. I’m a Jets Fan and I hope Cole Perfetti can become a stud for us. Was cool seeing Winnipeg with a 1st round pick in the top 10, I’ve been a fan for only 5+ years so hopefully he’s our next guy. 6. Wearing comfortable clothes like hoodies and sweats is a huge positive for fall season. I love football and celebrating Halloween too.

After trying to leave the league for a while to focus on school and life in general, Randy freakin Bobandy decides to have a career high season, leaving myself consistently still checking games on the portal and enjoying Malmo’s S95 run. Bobandy thinks he’s some big shot having a good finish to his career and it pissed two Sunnyvale Park residents right off. Bubbles and Ricky LaFleur have declared for the S97 VHL Entry Draft with a main vision of “being better than friggin Randy”. Bubbles LaFleur had some words to say on his decision to enter the draft: ”Randy is friggin pissin me right off. Randy drives around the park with Lahey thinking he’s some big shot because he plays hockey now… he’s no Wayne Gretzky I’ll tell you that. The only thing Randy has been good at is driving cheeseburgers into that big ole belly of his. Me and Ricky are the best hockey players in the park and we’re going to show everyone. Ricky spent some time playing goalie in jail and I used to play like Rocket Richard back in my day… we’re ready to crack some skulls.” Ricky claimed Bubbles to be his brother entering the VHL draft. The two will share the last name LaFleur on the Halifax 21st in the VHLM to finish S95. With the main priority being to shut Randy up, we’ll see how the boys shape up throughout these next few seasons. @DarkSpyro

1. The recent trades were brilliant as Bubbles and Ricky just came to shoot some puck around for fun this season before getting drafted. The hometown Nova Scotian boys drove down from the trailer park the other day. 2. I haven’t followed the VHLM this season much besides checking in on Houston, but looks like Vegas is the team to beat. 3. Bubbles is pumped to play hockey for Halifax, only more to come from him. 4. Bubbles needs to stay in the practice facility each week in order to improve, he’s a little rusty to start off. 5. Ricky is Bubbles’ best bud so of course Ricky. 6. I’m excited to watch McDavid do his lap around the earth again he’s always fun to watch and still seems hungry for a cup in Edmonton. Wonder if he plans on chasing Gretzky records if that’s even possible.
