Which teams, besides Houston, look to be competitive this upcoming season? 2. Your player is getting ready for opening night after a long off-season, emotions are high, energy is high... What thoughts are going through your player's head before game 1? 3. Houston has a pretty full roster to start the season. What strengths and weaknesses do you see within our team? 4. NHL season is off to a hot start! Do you have any early Stanley Cup predictions? I'm of course shooting for the stars and hoping my Winnipeg Jets will make it there. 5. Winter is coming and while most people hate the cold, hockey players tend to love it. What is your favourite thing about winter? 6. A great locker room can be the difference between winning and losing teams. What do you think a great locker room should have? I think we need a couple PS5's so I can play chel in between meetings. This past season it was to my greatest surprise that @jacobcarson877 got the GM job in Houston of the VHLM. I’ve told Jacob in the past that I would love to work with him one day and now I get the opportunity to do that! Working as his AGM is such a treat, it’s been about a week so far and I can already tell why Jacob is such a dominate GM. During my time GMing the Bulls I felt I really thrived in the social department, keeping vibes up and making Houston a home for anyone who walks in. In the VHLM this is a key factor to keep players engaged and wanting to come back each week. Having that tool in my bag is amazing because while Jacob is also good at this, he is by far the best GM in every other aspect, and I have to worry about nothing besides showing up everyday with a great attitude. We went through the most recent VHLM draft and this man automated our draft spreadsheet, reached out to every single prospect, and even got IA players out of their shell and on our roster, as well as already signing a few free agents. It is no surprise to me at all that Houston has an active 12-6-1 roster. With the moves he’s made, the players he has signed, it all may seem like magic to some but to me that’s just Jacob being the amazing person he is. Jacob works really hard and cares so much about his team. I am really impressed and honoured to work under him, I couldn’t have asked for anyone better to take over this franchise that I love the most. I am so excited to see how this team turns out over the next few seasons and I have full faith in Jacob to bring life back to Houston, giving me nostalgia of S92 when we had our massive recruitment drive.

HOUSTON BULLS PRESSER! Hello and welcome to this week's Houston Bulls Presser! The VHLM draft is complete and our roster doesn't look too empty anymore. Soon enough we're on the ice for games! Answer three questions for 1 capped TPE or six questions for 2 capped TPE! For the Week Ending October 13th, here are your questions! 1. Last night the S96 VHLM Dispersal Draft took place and we now have a pretty full roster! To the new players: how does it feel to be drafted to the Houston Bulls? To the returning players: what is something you would tell these new players about our team? 2. Currently our roster consists of 12 forwards, 5 defenders, and 1 goaltender, pretty awesome stuff! Where do you believe your player fits into our lineup? Should you be 1st line caliber? Is the 3rd line checking unit your cup of tea? 3. Development is a great thing, but our ultimate goal will always be to graduate every player. How many seasons do you and your player plan on playing in the VHLM before entering the big leagues of the VHL? (The new VHLM TPE Cap is 400 TPE, once you reach it you must move up to the VHL) 4. The VHLM regular season is coming up in a week, the first day of sims are expected to be October 16th. What do you predict our record after 10 games will be? My guess is 7-2-1. 5. Jacob and I are trying to plan a team bonding experience but we are unsure on what to do. What should the team do to grow our team morale? Hit the bars for drinks and get casual? Go bowling/mini-putt as another sport to enjoy? Maybe we could all go to a concert? 6. The NHL regular season starts tomorrow! What's your favourite team? Do you have a favourite player? (S97) Bubbles LaFleur - Defender Bubbles LaFleur enters the world of the VHL after spending most of his life located in the Sunnyvale Trailer Park of Nova Scotia, Canada. The 29 year old entered the league alongside his brother and goaltender, Ricky LaFleur @DarkSpyro. The two brothers, who are not biologically related, were pissed right off after watching all the praise and hype around fellow Trailer Park resident Randy Bobandy's VHL career unfold. Bubbles claims to have one main goal, with hopes of "being better than friggen Randy". Pros Bubbles is kitty loving, shopping cart fixing, great friend of every teammate he plays with. His social skills around any of the boys are unmatched, he is an unfiltered Rush lover who can sing along to any song, and get along with any teammate. On the ice his defensive skills are his key talent as his main goal is to help his goaltender Ricky out by blocking as many shots as he can. "Ricky's my best friend, any shot his way has to go through me first". Bubbles has improved on his puck handling ability as well in order to dangle his way around any opponent forward in the defensive end to clear the puck out of Ricky's way. He loves finding apples too, assists are his favoutire as he gets too nervous seeing his face on the Jumbotron after each goal he scores. His silent and obsessive giggling on the ice scares opponents away as they hear him skating closer and closer for a big hit. Bubbles will fight anyone in order to stick up for a teammate too. One time when Ricky was barking at the refs in the Trailer Park's annual community ball hockey tournament, Bubbles was suspended for remainder of the tournament after whacking said ref across the head with his hockey stick, that ref turned out to be Corey. Cons Bubbles only focuses on three attributes of his game: Defense, Puck Handling, and Skating, occasionally hitting the gym to work on his strength. Besides that he is extremely underdeveloped across the board. As the seasons roll on Bubbles is determined to turn into an all around player. His long term goals include working more on his playmaking and scoring abilities to be able to join the rush (not the band) and produce more offensively on the powerplay, mainly so that Ricky can have his 2 minute smoke break on the other end of the ice. Bubbles also would like to work on his chirping abilities. While having quick comebacks is good, sometimes he's at a loss for words and takes insults personally, leaving Ricky to handle the rest of "business". Lastly, in order to make some more cash around the league, Bubbles needs to get over his hatred of dope and hash so that he can be okay with selling drugs with Julian and Ricky.

The VHL draft has been announced for Friday October 4th, meaning in less than a week many fresh faces will be finding their forever homes in the VHL. This also means the VHLM dispersal draft should be shortly after which it usually is, hopefully in about a week! Bubbles LaFleur has already started to get scouted by a few VHLM GMs and I am pumped to see where him and his brother Ricky will go. We’ve made it clear to GMs that we want to play together, I feel the VHLM GMs will respect this as they are the coolest cats in the business. Bubbles has some news to share, and that is his build plan. For any VHLM GMs lurking, here’s the plan: SK: 83, DF: 82, PH: 82, ST: 54, and the rest…. 40 base minimum. I’ve always wanted to create a defender and test out these three main attributes since I’ve seen it done in the past and it’s worked really well. With the VHLM having a higher cap I’m wondering if Bubbles will eventually have the highest SK/PH/DF in the VHLM by the time he’s at the 400 TPE cap. I’m excited to see everything roll out, I’m excited for this draft, and I’m also excited to be back in Houston! I was just hired as Jacob’s AGM, I’ve always wanted to work with him and I couldn’t have asked for a better place than Houston to do it.

For context: Your new Houston Bulls General Manager is @jacobcarson877 , and he hired me on as Assistant General Manager! If you don't know Jacob, he has a long history with GMing in the VHL, VHLE, and VHLM! He is the commissioner of the off-season tournament, the JST, and he is a BOG member as well. 2. There is a lot of change going on in the VHLM this season with the deletion of the VHLE. What are your thoughts on the VHLM now having a TPE player cap of 400? (The previous TPE cap was 200 TPE). 3. What are your plans for your player in this upcoming season? Are you looking to be a goal scorer? Are you looking to work on your defensive side of the puck? 4. Congrats to Riga, Cologne, and Philadelphia for winning their respected leagues. I don’t really care about any of these teams but they must’ve been the best at what they do! With that being said I am excited for this off-season to finally start up, not only with my own player being draft eligible for the VHLM, not only with the VHLM getting a massive new change and hopefully much more fuller teams, but also the JST has started up! Bubbles LaFleur was selected by @Ricer13 to the Yukon Rush and the team has done well through our first sim, 2-0-1. Bubbles is playing on the fourth defensive pairing averaging 15 minutes a game, BUT, the stud has been able to produce a point per game already! The Rush sit in second place behind the undefeated Warriors to start the tournament, and I am super excited to have something to follow along daily until S96 starts. @jacobcarson877 does a wonderful job with this tournament, props to you brother. Changing subjects to the VHLM draft, my eyes are set on three teams currently. Halifax, San Diego, and Ottawa… why?… because they all have two 1st round picks. So, hopefully myself and @DarkSpyro can be selected together and play two seasons for whoever decides on us. I can’t lie if we get split up to different teams this draft I’m going to be the annoying person to request a trade right away. I really want to play with my friend, Spyro is an amazing locker room presence that I don’t want to be without, he brings so much life and passion to every team he’s on… and Bubbles wants to block those shots for Ricky! So to VHLM GMs reading this, if you do read this, please respect my request and draft us as a package, if you are able
