Seriously the goal tending from both Wumbo "the Magnificent" and his partner in crime Daniel "I Apparently Feed on Marauder Tears" McGleis has been disturbingly solid against Miami. So congratulations to Wumbo for finding this game, but also [REDACTED] Wumbo for finding his game.

Much the same response as on the other review, I used the "rule of thirds" for composition again. Alexandre's eyeline is centered on the top right "cross", that's why I went with that exact render size. Player name is at the top left "cross", icon bottom left "cross". Overall I just really struggled to get the top text quite the way I wanted. I do agree that moving the "Welcome" line up a bit probably would have helped, I put that text in as the very first thing I did after adding the shadowing to the edges, and then didn't really reconsider if I wanted to move it or not. But at the end of the day this graphic wasn't for me, it was for Alexandre, so I ran it past him first to see if he wanted changes made. He was quite pleased, which was the goal since he did actually pay for it. Overall I'm probably the most pleased with this out of my graphics on the site so far. It's still a meme graphic. But also in line with the overall style that's most prevalent in graphics here. As always though I appreciate the constructive criticism, as I want to keep improving.

Yeah the top right ended up being a bit blank, and I wasn't quite sure what to do with it. I'm playing around with the "rule of thirds" for composition after it was mentioned in a LR a while back. I hadn't really done it before, so the composition is the way it is because it puts Bo's eyeline in the top right "cross" of the rule of thirds, Tyler on the right has his eyeline along the bottom 1/3 line and Ben on the left has his head at the bottom left "cross" with the logo centered on the top left one. I wanted to see if the top right being empty was just a "me thing" and if the rule of thirds would help draw the viewers eye to the focal points enough to make them "miss it". Which it didn't, so I got useful info out of the experiment! Cheers for that!

Right, I thought maybe they had a Philadelphia Flyers type thing going on where they have the wrong color name tag on purpose. The drop shadow on the extracted name tag added enough visual noise to make it hard for me to tell if the angle was just right or not. Since jerseys do love a good completely unreasonable crinkle to liven up the mood. It kinda feels like the positioning is just too perfect to be a mistake. Could also just be that they placed it that way to save them the effort of needing to blank out the actual tag, since you'd end up with Pickett on Pickett if you didn't. Sometimes the lazy solution just accidentally leads to some really cool results. Regardless it was a cool way of doing it.

I actually didn't notice that on the first viewing. Not only that it's the text from the back of the jersey. But it being part of the actual jersey in the background but extracted out to the foreground, is one of the more creative ways to tie the text into the background I've seen.

I mean the man single-handedly saved podcasting with absolutely no help at all from anyone. So that was to be expected, right?

@Spartan Anything with this many bar charts in it just makes me all giddy on the inside. The dataset is pretty small, because it couldn't not be in the VHL. But despite that potentially changing the framing on the more strictly VHL GM related questions to have one bar chart for actual VHL GM/AGMs would give a more telling result? Because if I gave a low number on the last two questions as a First season 1st gen, that's not really indicative of a problem. Whereas if a VHL GM/AGM did, that would probably be cause for concern/future investigation. Also it would give us 2 more charts, which is clearly superior. Overall a nice read, and I'm looking forward to the main article.

With the recent upswing in the locker room, coupled with Bo getting the captaincy and Miami having two players on this weeks TPE leaderboard. Things are possibly about to turn around in Miami! That being said, I probably just jinxed it with this post and Bo ends up getting traded within 24 hrs or something.

Just as an aside, "Pitt" is Swedish for a fleshy appendage that ironically enough isn't COC compliant. Yes, this also means that Brad Pitt's surname also means that, and Brad is only a vowel short of "bred" which is the Swedish word for thicc. It's an older meme, but it checks out! Really though, the shadowing they added on the right side of the fur coat thingy looks amateur levels of bad. Like worse than what I did in about a minute on Bo's Santa hat levels of bad. But that's meant to be a 180x200 px avatar, not a big boi poster.
