Indeed, we should all know that I am in charge of passing logos. Yes children, you may use your new toy for two seasons before the warranty expires.

Pretty cool! You don't see videos too often (or maybe you do, idk, I haven't been here in three years), so it's a nice change-up! I like how the reels seemed in time with the music, but the cuts were a little too quick, so it was kind of disorienting for my old eyes. Great work, love the submission.

Hey, it's warming up slowly but surely!

@Phil Constructive criticism in my podcast? You dumb piece of shit. -
Which song would be your VHL anthem?

To clarify, when you say “excluding Vasteras IK,” you mean excluding Vasteras’ stint before moving to Madrid?
-
Absolutely, you little turd!

Good work man, you’re off to an awesome start!

@oilmandan stayed busy in Game 69 . Solid games for the active players at least! We could definitely use some depth to control the puck more though

Recruitment Survey (Un-Capped TPE Opportunity)
JardyB10 replied to MexicanCow123's topic in Recruiting Central
@Members Check this out! Free TPE, and maybe you help the league or something. EDIT: I of course mean the top of this thread. -
I’m not afraid to leak #6! Not sure who submitted it but I definitely encourage it as a PT submission as well, I enjoyed it.

Just not a very threatening threat. He’ll always be a bag boy.

Thank you! Though for record, that’s a random Google Image dude and I’ve basically only ever worked on a farm or a highway. I do still have a cute smile though.

Poopy Peepants with a fellow Independent Grocer employee Poopy Peepants Junior Review Jardy's Bunclewirth's Unorthadox Re-Entry into the VHL Scene after 20 Seasons It's tough to review a player's time in the Juniors when that player never reached that level. In fact, the Miami Marauders' newest defenceman, Poopy Peepants, had no prior experience in organized hockey at all, prior to joining the VHLM at the end of S77. Peepants is the first player to come out of disgraced former VHL Commissioner Jardy Bunclewirth's agency since Dragon McDragon declared for the S58 VHL Draft. The depressed and retired Bunclewirth scouted Peepants casually skating on a pond behind his local grocery store. At 6'1 and 211 lbs, the bulky Poopy seemed like the perfect fit into the VHL, and Jardy approached (though some police reports say "kidnapped") the young bagboy about joining the league. Poopy spent the next couple of months being drilled by Bunclewirth. He already knew how to skate stably enough, but the VHL Hall of Famer took the time to improve the young man's strength and technique. Breaking it down into simple tasks, Jardy wanted Peepants' strength to be shutting down opponents trying to break in to the defensive end, and to move the puck up to better players who actually spent their lives playing hockey. After this crash course, Bunclewirth entered Poopy Peepants' name into the VHLM’s mid-season signing system. They agreed to a contract with the Houston Bulls that saw Peepants play four regular season games, and a five game playoff exit to the Mississauga Hounds. While Poopy struggled to find his legs to end the regular season, he did show potential in the short playoff stint, putting up 4 points in the series, blocking 13 shots, and even getting a little bit physical with 12 hits. The following off-season involved more training and drills between Poopy's shifts at the Independent. While Jardy was determined to see improvement with his new, strange Poopy Peepants pet project, he didn't want to make the training too well known, in order to keep the young defenceman's draft stock down. Unfortunately for him, this did not stop Zack Gagnon, GM of the Miami Marauders, from drafting Peepants in the first round at 10th overall. The amount of 7s shown here may lead one to believe Peepants has a lucky streak. Our sources say this is untrue. In his first 11 games with the team so far, the focus of that early two month crash course on the frozen pond is evidently on display. While Peepants is hesitant to take shots, averaging less than one per game, his defensive and playmaking abilities are on full display. His 7 assists/points in 11 games are respectable as a young and inexperienced defenceman, and his hit and blocked shot totals are 7th and 3rd in the league, respectively. Bunclewirth states Peepants will continue to focus on developing the strongest aspects of his game before burdening the young man with the responsibility of scoring goals. The experiment of these two has had respectable results so far, but only time will tell if it works out in the long run.

MIAMI (JP) - There's an old saying in hockey that goes thusly; "After the Cup, cometh the hangover." And there's no more popular a place to be hungover than Miami, Florida. The team was ravaged by VHLM graduations and waiver losses like no other. Gone were the historical conquerers Alexander the Great (@Shiny) and Napoleon Bonaparte (@CptSquall) to their respective VHL teams. The defence was gutted as S78 1st Rounder Damien Salducci (@Deee.Geee) and Jocke Jockesson (@ThomasSyster) returned to the VHLM draft to oppose the Maurauders in S78. Worst of all, Skyler Rift Trophy winner and starting goaltender @ClapbombsRus went on to make his VHL debut with the Calgary Wranglers. Little enough was left behind. Most notably defenceman Vassily Grigorev (@Noxalpha), who was promptly dealt to the Philidelphia Reapers for a 1st and a 3rd in the S80 Dispersal Draft. While competing for a playoff spot may seem bleak under these circumstances, it has allowed the new additions to the team to shine. Chief among them is team captain Mikey Markov (@JetsFan81), who has put up an incredible 13 goals and 20 points in just 11 games so far this season. On a more earthly scale, we also see the likes of Roberts Stutzle (@Coldex) quietly making a name for himself. After putting up 14 points in 50 games in his inaugural VHLM season with the Las Vegas Aces, Stutzle slid all the way to Round 3 of the VHL Draft, being selected 44th overall by the Calgary Wranglers. Miami GM @InstantRockstar wouldn't wait quite as long in the Dispersal Draft, grabbing the big lanky Latvian winger 21st overall in the 2nd Round. Stutzle has been improving greatly under Miami management, already putting up 6 points in 11 games, matching his goal total from last season, and putting him on pace to shatter his production rates altogether. Meanwhile, the new goaltending duties have fallen to early season waiver pickup Em Em Flex (@oilmandan). With only two mediocre defencemen remaining in front of him, the young goalie has been holding his own, facing an average of 25 shots per game. The amount of action he sees will give him plenty of opportunity to improve over the season, and his 2 assists so far put him on pace to finish the season with 13 points, which is nearly as many as Stutzle got last season as a forward. Speaking of mediocre defencemen, Poopy Peepants is there as well. It will be a challenging season for the Maurauders, but these new faces will be front and center of it all until more mid-season signings make their way to Florida! - 435 words

An Early Look at Potential VHLE Franchises
JardyB10 replied to Victor's topic in Archived Media Spots
Oh shit, I hadn't heard about this . I shared his support for the Gladiators, that was a subject I first got to know him on (701 is the North Dakota area code, after). It's upsetting to come back to hear about him and Elmebeck, and hopefully nobody else. Here's some lovely memorial threads courtesy of @gorlab I dug up if any other noobs are curious. They're a treat to reflect on. RIP dude. I still remember those Digital and Kronos sigs, truly sick.
