  1. Sorry for late response after the draft but let’s see what I can do! 1. In your opinion, which teams need you the most? I am happy to be picked by Seattle and believe this is a great fit for me and the organization. 2. Other than yourself, who's the most likely 'reach' in the draft (i.e. picked above their TPE)? My awnser would have been Hans Gruber as he has a lot of talent and was a steal in this draft. 3. The VHLM Draft just happened a couple of days ago - how do you feel about your old team's chances? They made some good picks and look to be building for the future. 4. Who was the best locker room influence on you in your minor league season? Why? Gm Josh was great and very supportive. 5. Are there any teams that you want to be on that haven't contacted you about the draft (don't name names)? If so, why do you think that is? its after the draft but I am very satisfied to be drafted by Seattle and believe I will have a good future with the organization. 6. Who's done the best job improving their draft stock other than by increasing TPE? HHH 7. Do you have any draft-day taboos or rituals? on draft day I like to stay chill and wait to be picked with my family and friends. 8. You're in a freestyle dance competition and you can have one other player up there dancing your routine alongside you. Who is it, and why? Hans but I’m a better dancer lol 9. Let's say you can bring only one sentimental item with you to your new home after the draft. What is it? great question! It would be my first shutout in the VHLM puck. 10. What do you regret, if anything, about this past season? Nothing I’m very pleased with how I played and my team played!
  2. 1) How do you feel about playing for Mexico? 2) what are your expectations for the teams season? 3) what are your personal goals for this season? 4) Who is the best goalie in the league in your opinion? 5) If you could play with any player from VHL or VHLM history who would it be and why?
  3. Gate looks like a pretty good defencemen! Welcome to Seattle guys!
  4. Excited to start my rookie season! #gobearsgo

  6. Hey there, here’s what I’m looking for Avatar Back Of Bears Jersey Name on the back of Jersey: Park Number on back of jersey: 44 tia greatly appreciated!
  7. Who will win the Continental Cup in S66? My prediction is after a heartbreaking loss in the finals in S65, The Helsinki Titans will bounce back to win the cup! Let’s take a in depth look into why I think they will win the cup. Goaltending Rank: A Alexander Pepper is an elite goaltender in this league and has proven he can play strong playoff hockey. Pepper is a very fast goaltender that never gives up on a play. He has proven throughout his career that he is a reliable goaltender that his team can depend on. In my opinion Pepper has improved every year and I believe this is his year to lead his team to a cup victory. Defence Rank: B+ Pepper will need a strong defensive core to help him take their team deep into the playoffs. The Titans top 2 defensemen include Dan Montgomery and Jesse Wilson. These two are both elite defensemen that will be depended on highly during their cup run. Another strong defensemen who has been improving greatly is Sidney Crosby! I think it would be beneficial for the Titans to pickup one more veteran defence before the playoffs to make there defence even more solid! Offence Rank: A+ The thing that excites me most about this team is their incredible offensive talent. Matt Thompson leads the team offensively and is the best player in the league in my opinion! When Thompson is on his game he is nearly impossible to stop! On top of having the best offensive player in the league the Titans also have all star forward Julian Borwinn. This guy has incredible talent and has three consecutive 70+ point seasons! How can you stop this incredible offence? Another big offence threat is Kronos Bailey who is coming off a 87 point season! The Titans are stacked offensively with some of the best in the league. I don’t think any team will be able to slow down their offence come playoff time. In conclusion I believe the Titans will win the cup based on an offensive overload, decent defence and solid goaltending!
  8. @Banackock your quite the popular fella ?
  9. Thanks for all the kind words @Banackock, I’m just very excited to be here and pumped about the opportunity!!!
  10. *Claiming for week starting tomorrow, Monday, March 6th* Young goaltender, Clayton Park was drafted 27th overall by the Seattle Bears on Saturday. We sat down with Clayton for an exclusive post draft interview. How does it feel to be drafted by the Seattle Bears? It’s a great feeling to be drafted by one of the original VHL teams that’s holds a tremendous amount of history. Greats like Tremblay, Reynaud, Beketov, Vengeance, Higgens, Peters have all been apart of our teams history. I respect these players very much and I am truly honoured to join this organization that they represented so well. I am filled with excitement for the future of this organization and I would love nothing more then to spend my entire career in a bears uniform! What is the current goaltender situation in Seattle? So first off we currently have 3 goalies. Our most experienced goaltender is veteran Tristan Iseult. He has been around since S60 and is a very talented, experienced goalie. I assume he will get the majority of the starts based off of experience. The second goalie is me and I believe I will be backing up Iseult this season. I’m hoping to get a few more starts then the average backup to gain VHL experience and get ready for the future. It’s no secret that Iseult is approaching retirement so I want to gain experience now so I will be ready when called upon to be the starter in the future. Our third goaltender is veteran goaltender Arvid Aamo. His future remains unknown as he played S60 in the VHLM and played from S61 to S63 in the VHL. As a older goaltender who hasn’t played much as of late, I believe if he does play this season it will be in the VHLM. There is a possibility that he could play a few games in the VHL but seems unlikely due to the current goaltender situation in Seattle. What do you hope to accomplish in your first season in Seattle? My plan is to seize the moment when called upon and give 100% every time I step on the ice. Also I have a great opportunity to learn from a veteran goaltender who has been around the game for a long time. Even when I’m not between the pipes, I will be watching Iseult and learning every step of the way. The coaching staff is phenomenal here in Seattle, so I want to learn from them and develop into an elite VHL goaltender. What will the feeling be like in your first start as a Seattle Bear? It will definitely be an emotional moment as I have worked really hard to get where I am today. In the moment when I step onto the ice, all those 6AM practices, physically draining workouts and moving to North America will all be worth it! The opportunity is here, now I just have to make the most of it! Tell us what you think the future looks like for the Seattle Bears! As of right now it looks like we are building for the future. In the recent VHL draft Seattle drafted a few prospects worth noting including left winger Valeri Morozov and left winger Shane Mars. In my opinion, Shane Mars is a huge addition as he has proven to be an elite winger and has the potential to be among the best in the league. In regards to Valeri Morozov, he is a strong skater with a proven scoring ability. I believe he has a lot of potential and is definitely a good addition for the future of this team. As we all know, Seattle also picked me up as they needed a young goaltender for the future of this team. It appears the Bears are in full rebuild mode as they have 9 picks in the first 4 rounds of the S67 draft including 3 first rounders and 4 second rounders! In conclusion I believe it will take a few seasons for these rookies to develop but when they do, watch out for the Bears!!!! I am extremely confident by S68-S69 this team will be unstoppable and will be extremely hard to beat!
  11. Tonight I’m proud to put on a Bears jersey and look forward to many good years with this organization! #gobearsgo

  12. I’m definitely glad you discovered/mentioned that Clayton Park has never been inactive! Nice article dude!
  13. 1. What kind of feelings are you feeling right now? Very excited for the draft! 2. Any idea when you might be picked? I’d say early 3rd round! 3. In the ideal world, what team or teams would be the ones that pick you? A team looking for a future elite goaltender! 4. Any friendly rivalries going on with other draftees? Hans Gruber and I are excited to see who gets drafted first lol 5. Who would you say is going to be the biggest steal in the draft? Hans Gruber, I think he will go late in the second but I feel he will prove to be elite 6. If a draftee is looking to do some last minute draft stock tanking - what would be some good ways to do that? Not sure I understand what your asking here 7. Going to play in the juniors next year? I plan to yes! 8. What in your opinion is the main difference between hockey in VHL and VHLM? VHL is much more competitive and where we all want to be. VHLM is just a stepping stone and place to develop. 9. Have you told any lies in the team interviews so far? Never 10. Would you rather get picked first overall and end up into a not so good team or get picked lets say 35th overall and end up into a good team? I’d rather go 35th and go to a better team!
  14. This is how I’m feeling lol
  15. Can’t wait for the next step in this amazing journey! #VHLDRAFT

  16. Honoured just to be mentioned in the conversation for top goalie !
  17. I did, I realize it’s to late but as previously mentioned it was an accident.
  18. ********* Sorry everyone my phone glitched out when I posted this, I didn’t mean to tag all members. My apologies! *********
  19. Welcome to our Q&A with VHL draftee Clayton Park! How are you feeling about the upcoming VHL draft? There’s been so much hype and projection so it will be interesting to see how it turns out. I am very excited to get drafted to a VHL organization and start my professional hockey career! Do you have any family or friends joining you on draft day? Yes my mother and father will be there as well as my one year son, Clayton Park Jr. Also my good friend Hans Gruber will be there waiting for his name to be called! At what point in the draft do you think you will be drafted? As well what is your draft projection for your friend @TheFlash Hans Gruber? I think I will drafted late in the 2nd round or early in the 3rd round. If I’m being completely honest I believe there is only one goalie better then me in the draft and that is Owen May. Hopefully teams don’t wait to long to draft me as they might miss their opportunity! In regards to Hans Gruber I think he will be drafted mid to late in the 2nd round of the draft. He is a very talented hockey player with a very high hockey IQ. Have many teams contacted you prior to the draft and how did it go? I have been contacted by a few VHL GM’s expressing interest and I feel the talks went really well. I am confident that a team looking for an elite goaltender prospect will draft me without hesitation. Lastly, tell VHL GM’s what you bring to the table and why they should draft you. You should draft me because I am well on my way to being an elite VHL goaltender. I play hard every night and quit is not in my vocabulary! Last season, I had a 0.894 save percentage, a goals against average of 2.99 and picked up 3 shutouts. I did all this with a team that was weak defensively and I faced a total of 2010 shots with a average of 28 shots per game. If you want a goalie who is going to be your future between the pipes, I’m your guy! Draft me and let’s win a championship together!
