I am making a genuine application, I have spent over three and a half years and it is finally time I change my reputation around here. Over this time I have been punished, called a troll and I have been a nuisance to the VHL. I am willing to become a mod and able to take steps into improving myself, which will ultimately improve the league. While I do not reach the 20 years old age preference, I believe that I have showed maturity across my three years in the VHL. It is not always present, but it has been there and I will be continuing on with this maturity should I be blessed with the mod job, or should I not be blessed with it. Maturity is something which not only benefits me, but everyone in the league in which I interact with.  I believe with my level of maturity I will be able to sit down with the wrong doers of our league and figure out what can be done to not only improve the situation towards the league, but towards them. I want everyone to feel welcome here, while also making sure everyone is free. The VHL is one of my top priorities.

 

I do not currently hold any jobs in the VHL nor do I plan on holding any in the future that could possibly conflict with my ability to be apart of the mod team. I do see my future in the VHL as somebody the people can look up to and take inspiration from as somebody who turned themselves around from a path of dark and despair to one of a lighter road. I believe in rehabilitation for everyone, while punishments still necessary. It is my goal to improve the VHL, whether I'm a mod or not. Each member should strive for not only a better version of themselves every day, but a better league. 

 

I thank everyone for reading my application, taking me into consideration, and I thank you for making the VHL a better place.

The answers and history of the league is completely all over the place. in some threads, on the portal, in other subforums, in random dead excel sheets. It's very hard for new members specifically to navigate and access.

 

Personally I care way more that a member who joined last season knows a name like Greg Clegane, or a builder like Sam Helberg than how they were given/found the information. 

although I agree, for a new player, this is very hard to answer. I have been here half a season and I still have no clue on any of the answers. THE TRIVIA IS NOT NEW USER FRIENDLY history wise. but a solution can easily be made. have 1 question easier and the 2nd one history.

What the Ottawa Lynx will be looking for in the draft next season. and what are the expectations? Can you tell me 5 players the Lynx are interested in?

We are looking to gather the same type of players as we did this season, it's a recipe for success. The ingredients: Active, happy and a little bit of imagination. I think with returning players and some good picks we can compete, depending on how things go we could be a buyer or a seller so we can continue to build for future seasons. This changes a lot and since we may hold the #1 pick (draft lottery) I'm not giving any information out on this, it'll be a surprise! 

If the top 3 picks were taken, who would be your first?

The top 4 pick. Honestly no clue like I said before but it's a high chance I take the most active player that will change the Ottawa franchise for the good, spending time with positive influences only boosts the rest of the team
 

Do you think with the effort you are making, you can win the cup in s86?

Yeah I think we can carry over momentum from this season like we did in seasons past and fight another goliath of a team until the very end

Do you see a generational player making it big?

Yeah we have a few of them on our team and they are huge to help stabilize a team that's just forming, obviously I encourage to earn the most but if it's fun for you to chill down in the minors an extra season why not? I'm here to have fun with anyone and everyone until the final sim

Hey Thomas, since last time we talked a lot of big things happened. You are now a captain. And your game has gotten more consistent. What are you doing differently? RS

Hey Rick thanks for having me. I haven't changed anything and have stuck to my plan from day 1 which is my development. It has been my huge focus going forward. This is also a team game and my team mates and I usually stay after practice to help each other further our development. The Bulls locker room has a great atmosphere and we all get along great. TM

Your first 4 games you only had one assist. Now, you have played 35 games with 33 points. Almost a point per game. What do you think was a factor in your progress? RS

Well again, my development. But also giving the opportunity to play on the first line in the VHLM. My production has sky rocketed since I was able to have more ice time. I have specifically been developing my defense skills and since then I noticed a huge change in my game. I hope to be the player my team mates can rely on. My team mates and I have all worked hard to get to where we are now. TM

So it looks like the Bulls will not make the playoffs, do you have any plans this offseason? RS

I am going to work on my development of course but I am excited to play in the offseason tournaments and see what I can do in a different environment. It's a great opportunity for me, other GM's will take notice in this tournament for this years draft class and our abilities on and off the ice. My goal is just to continue producing the way I am and keep developing my weakest attributes. TM

The draft is also coming up, any idea where you would like to be drafted to? RS

Whoever drafts me will get a solid TPE earner. I only joined the league halfway through the season and my development has been consistent. I am a team player and am here to help my team mates if they need it. I don't have a favorite but I hear Rome is nice. TM
