  1. Higgins you forgot to forgo any proper procedure and just sim right away.
  2. There's no way this is gonna fly.
  3. title unrelated This off-season has me super pumped for the season, in both the VHL and VHLM. Last season in New York, we had some active members but the team sucked and there was never anything to celebrate. We've added several players that should propel us to average team status. Maxwell, Ravenwing, and Digital will all have breakout years; you can quote me on that. New York may end up struggling more than other average teams on the defensive end, but you can't be the best at everything. Even if we do end up missing the playoffs, which I don't expect but do consider to be a possibility, we are looking good for the future. The only forward who isn't signed to the team through at least S54 is Sir William Covington III. A lot of top tier players are retiring after this season, including Ariel Weinstein, Greg and Sandro Clegane, Phil Hamilton, Biggu Kyanon, and Max Molholt. The VHLM has me pumped as well. I've drafted a team of players who I hope to have for a couple seasons. We could make some noise this season and next, similar to last season Saskatoon into this season, though I'm not expecting us to win the championship this season. Ever since I took over the Rush this time around, S53 has been my goal. I fully intend to have mist4ke stay down in the VHLM next season, so I know I'll have a top goalie. Oh, I think this has been enough words. for m4xwell
  4. http://www98.zippyshare.com/v/WckRZtW9/file.html Music: Michelle Branch - Everywhere // Yellowcard - Everywhere for Maxwell
  5. Alright cool I'll keep that in mind.
  6. Real talk though how did Maximoff tie for Top Leader?
  7. Ahh heck you weren't supposed to take Theo Axelsson, or Pavel Komarov for that matter. I'm really kicking myself for not taking Axelsson.. Anyway, I suppose I'll go with Bogdan Podarok @solas I don't think I'm gonna win
  8. Weekly waivers imo. Daily will be a heck of a lot of work. I envision myself visiting waivers a few times a week if I can. Maybe have leagues for those who want waivers and those who don't. I'd say offer slightly higher rewards for the waiver leagues.
  9. Are you thinking a temporary boost when they are captain, or is it for each season they hold the role, they get some points?
  10. I forgot about the Master Sheet tbh. I guess if you want to go through that much work, that's up to you. Seems like it would be very overwhelming if people actually decide to be active, which is probably unlikely. Plus I suppose the majority of each roster will likely not change much. Are trades going to be allowed?
  11. Congratulations, you've just described a fantasy league.
  12. And you plan on doing daily updates? Do you have something in place to keep track of stats/fantasy points?
  13. Okay, yeah that's a fair point (even if it doesn't actually make what I said untrue at all).
  14. Just like, at any time? Is there any sort of waiver order? Are fantasy points just based on whatever roster you have at the end of the season?
  15. Yeah but rosters before did not depend at all on anyone else's roster. You only had to be concerned with your own. Actually, I don't even know if it's weekly. @ADwyer87 what exactly are you planning with waivers?
  16. Except there's also weekly waivers.
  17. Except the winner of that season never made any roster changes.
  18. So how is the current format not overkill?
  19. That's fine if people didn't want to. But there were people saying they didn't even like having the option there even though it only affected them in that the people who were willing to put in the effort were able to get an advantage.
  20. It may have been more of an issue if more than a handful of members actually ever changed their roster from the beginning of the season.
  21. I'm pretty sure I mentioned it in a few places, but the salaries were mostly based on TPE. It doesn't make sense to me that it would be confusing. Everyone has a value. You can't go over a certain total. Where's the confusion? Are numbers that hard? Also, the way I had it set up, there was a very, very tiny chance that I would miss someone going over the salary cap. Copy-catting was never an issue the one season I did it.
