  1. @iRockstar Yukon offers $1,000,000. I'll have an enticing pitch coming in a PM.
  2. But how is he acquiring the younger player?
  3. But if we're saying he drafted Mike Smith, then his player was available in the draft. And how does he get Roger Williams? Through the draft or trade, he still would have been available in the draft since he wasn't a GM rule acquisition. If anything, transferring the title like this (I think) would actually decrease his use of the GM rule, meaning fewer free acquisitions. An issue could arise with two players being on the same team, but I think a simple solution might be to say that the title can only be transferred to a younger player. Consider this: the only way a player joins a team through the GM rule is when the previous GM player retires. If the GM title is passed to an older player, then that would theoretically reduce the amount of time between GM player recreates, giving an advantage. However, transferring the title to a younger player will extend the amount of time, which would seem like a slight disadvantage (although giving the GM a little more flexibility).
  4. But Kendrick is right that we do need a rule regarding the transferring of GM player designation. Let's take a look at Greg. He has Jarvi and Thrower. Jarvi is his GM player right now. When he recreates, his recreate will go right to Cologne because Jarvi was his GM player. Can he then arbitrarily transfer GM player designation to Thrower so that when he retires, he can get his next player? Obviously something like that shouldn't be able to happen.
  5. Can what happen? I don't know if you understood what exactly Devise was saying (it did read a little funny to me, but I already knew what he was trying to say anyway), but he's just saying that Toast's GM designated player is now Grigory Kopralkov instead of Ilya Kopralkov.
  6. And that's why I personally believe any of these teams could miss the playoffs. It's not all about individual players, it's about how they work together. With four teams having top players, it's hard to predict. Go take a look at the European Conference in S45.
  7. When I say top team I just mean that we could win the cup. I know you think Seattle is shit but I'd call them a top team as well.
  8. Kopralkov can share the Most Improved Player with Ravenwing and Maxwell!
  9. Whoa, what! There was a goalie available other than Greg Clegane!? Wow I'm shocked that a top team wasn't relying solely on signing a free agent to fill their goalie gap!
  10. And that's a product of the gigantic disparity in the league at the moment.
  11. And also this is Most Outstanding Player not Most Valuable Player.
  12. Tough choice, but I'll go with Phil Hamilton. @solas
  13. I would agree, and although I do think you should have been in the draft (which would've likely meant you not end up with your friends), at this point I think putting you in free agency is better than adhering to the random assignment of players.
  14. I know I was being sarcastic. Wait, no. I was getting Moscow and Oslo confused. Fuck.
  15. Should've been in the draft imo but at this point, I agree that he should be a free agent. I wonder what team he would want to sign with
  16. I will select Zach Parechkin @Kylrad
  17. so happy with out the VHLM draft turned out.. go Yukon!

  18. Okay, now Yukon will select Julien Gallant.
  19. With our 4th round pick, the Yukon Rush select Julien Gallant! @JulienGallant
  20. Yukon is ecstatic that nobody took the defensemen I want. The Rush select Teli Briadora and The Rat, Marty McDouglas! @RisingWater @GordonBombay66
  21. With the second 18th overall pick of the draft, the Yukon Rush select Jonas Lidstrom! @Gooningitup
  22. Pierre Gaudette, come on down! @Frank
