    Going Inactive

I want to say I won't go inactive again. I want everyone here to trust me and be able to count on me for their team, a league job, anything. I just can't guarantee it. I have a problem quitting on things I don't deem absolutely necessary when I run into road bumps in my life. It's been a weird start to the year for me. I took a new job out of necessity (long story) and I only kind of know what I'm doing. That's been really stressful, my relationship has been a little rocky the past few months, and most recently my cat got very sick. I somewhat implode when things aren't going "good". I cut out everything other than the specific things I need to focus on, then I choose to stress about them instead of doing activities, hobbies, etc. that would probably be helpful for me. I love doing yoga. I haven't done yoga since the start of the year. It's not just the VHL, I have a tendency to do this with everything.

I'm not asking you to trust me, or hell, even understand me. I just want to explain my side. I'm sorry to those teams I may have caused issues to. I'm sorry @KaleebtheMighty for not fulfilling my AGM duties, and disappearing. I wish I was a better person if that makes sense. Sometimes, I just shut down. Life is hard, but I don't make it any easier on myself by quitting on things.

twists got a reaction from Frank in An Evening with Ferk, STZ, and Doomsday
Once upon a time, in a small, eclectic town that seemed to have sprung up from the meeting of multiple cultures, there lived three unusual friends: Ferk, STZ, and Dooms. Despite their quirks and oddities, they had forged a bond that was as unique as each of them.

Ferk was a burly man from Canada with a mane of unkempt hair and a perpetual scent of whiskey. Alcohol had been his closest companion for years, and he was rarely seen without a flask in hand. Despite his penchant for drink, Ferk had a heart of gold and was always ready to lend a helping hand to those in need.

STZ was a slight, wiry man from China who had a peculiar way of ending every sentence with the word "cum." This odd quirk made communication challenging for him and amusing for others. Yet, beneath his awkward speech, STZ was a brilliant mind, always thinking several steps ahead and offering insights that his friends valued deeply.

Dooms was an average-looking man with an extraordinary passion: he adored the TV show "Bluey" more than anything in the world. He watched it religiously, could quote entire episodes, and often related life lessons back to the show. Dooms' love for "Bluey" brought a childlike joy to their group, balancing out the rough edges of Ferk's alcoholism and STZ's communication challenges.

One evening, as the sun dipped below the horizon, casting long shadows over the town, the three friends gathered at their favorite bar. Ferk, already a few drinks in, waved his flask in greeting. "Evening, lads!"

"Evening, cum," STZ replied, settling into his usual spot with a shy smile.

Dooms plopped down beside them, clutching a Bluey plushie he'd brought along. "Guys, did you see the latest episode of Bluey? It was amazing! Bluey and Bingo went on an adventure—"

"Yeah, yeah, Dooms, tell us all about it," Ferk chuckled, taking a swig from his flask.

As Dooms launched into an enthusiastic recounting of the episode, Ferk leaned back, letting the familiar warmth of the whiskey wash over him. STZ listened intently, occasionally nodding and adding a "cum" at the end of his comments. The bar buzzed around them, but the friends were in their own world.

After a few more rounds of drinks, Ferk noticed a flyer pinned to the wall. "Hey, what's this?" he muttered, stumbling over to take a closer look. "Looks like there's a party tonight at the old mansion on Elm Street."

"A party, cum?" STZ asked, perking up. "We should go, cum."

"Why not?" Dooms agreed. "Maybe they'll have Bluey playing on a big screen."

Fueled by curiosity and alcohol, the trio decided to check it out. They walked through the dimly lit streets, their footsteps echoing off the cobblestones. The mansion loomed ahead, its windows glowing with inviting light and music thumping from within.

Inside, the atmosphere was electric. People of all shapes and sizes mingled, laughing and dancing. The friends made their way through the crowd, each drawn to different aspects of the party. Ferk gravitated toward the bar, STZ found himself engrossed in conversation (cum-infused though it was), and Dooms wandered off in search of any Bluey-themed activities.

Hours passed, and the friends reconvened near the grand staircase. Ferk was tipsy, his flask now empty. STZ was grinning widely, having found a group of people who found his "cum" endearing rather than strange. Dooms, to his delight, had discovered a room where Bluey episodes were being projected on the wall.

"Hey, this party's not bad," Ferk slurred. "But I think it’s about to get even better."

"Yeah, cum," STZ agreed, nodding eagerly.

"Look at that," Dooms said, pointing to a door that had just opened. Beyond it lay a room bathed in soft, colorful lights and filled with cushions and blankets. The atmosphere was inviting, sensual even.

Intrigued and emboldened by the night's festivities, the three friends stepped inside. To their surprise, they were greeted by a group of people who welcomed them warmly, their intentions clear. What began as an adventurous party soon turned into an evening of unexpected intimacy, as Ferk, STZ, and Dooms found themselves exploring new depths of their friendship.

In the midst of laughter, whispered secrets, and shared moments, the three friends realized that their bond went beyond their eccentricities. They embraced the night and each other, finding comfort and joy in their shared experience.

By the time dawn broke, Ferk, STZ, and Dooms lay intertwined on a pile of cushions, a newfound closeness binding them together. Despite the unusual path they had taken, they knew their friendship was stronger than ever, forged in the fires of their shared adventures and unspoken understanding.

This is a work of fiction. Names, characters, places and incidents either are products of the author’s imagination or are used fictitiously. Any resemblance to actual events or locales or persons, living or dead, is entirely coincidental. Except for the part where it's Twists' fault.

Just a week ago everything was looking up. Vancouver had made a slew of off-season trades to bolster their roster to compete amongst the elite teams. But so far in Season 94 the Wolves have had trouble scoring goals and keeping them out of their net. On paper Vancouver has one of the strongest rosters and should be a shoe in to the make the playoffs. Enter Twists. Some may call it a coincidence but as a glass half empty kind of person I can't over look the fact our struggles have coincided with @twists return to activity. Now I don't want to blame him directly, but it is almost one hundred and ten percent his fault. First let's examine the evidence Twists comes back to activity Vancouver starts to lose, this is a  fact. Twists started two threads today we lost twice, again these are facts. I think in situations like these it's important to presume guilt until innocence can be proven. So hold your pitchforks high Vancouver, we'll let Twists defend himself here before we usher him off to the shadow realm once again.

Real life matters more than this, @twists. You take care of yourself first. I will always stand by that statement, and the rest of Malmo’s locker room knows that too.

There’s no grudge or anything held on my side. It’s ok buddy. Take care of things on your end, Malmo’s locker room will always be open to you ❤️

It's under unfortunate circumstances, but earlier this week, we announced that @Berocka has at least temporarily stepped away from his GM job in Saskatoon. We were impressed by how many members of the VHL community were willing to step up and fill in, even if this was only considered a temporary position for the time being.

But for that time being, we're confident in who we're hiring. Please welcome @Ricer13 back to the VHLM as the interim GM of the Wild!

    Hello,

As you've all probably seen here, Halifax 21st GM @ShawnGlade was punished for using AI to complete tasks. @Gustav and I have discussed the situation with the Head of PT and Moderators and agree that our M GMs are held to a higher standard due to their roles in the community and the impressions they make on the newest users to our community.

For this reason, we are removing Shawn's VHLM GM pay of 4 TPE for the remainder of S92. He is still able to cap out at 12 if he chooses, but he simply won't be allowed to claim his VHLM GM pay for this season.

As a reminder, the use of AI is prohibited in the completion of your VHL tasks. If you are unsure whether tools you use are against VHL rules, feel free to reach out to a Commissioner or an Updater. The VHL values original content and the efforts of people who put in their valuable time to engage with our league and create content for their own development and the enjoyment of others.

Right before S92 of the Victory Hockey League took place, Moscow made a mind bending move. They traded Eric Queefson to the LA Stars for a first round pick. This has caused Moscow to severely downgrade in their defense going from a 700 TPE player to an under 400 TPE player. When asked for comment about this move, @Spartan  said "I'm a bad GM, so naturally I make bad trades". Queefson was notified only minutes before the trade processed. When asked for comment, he responded, “He got me,” Queefson said of Spartan's trade of him. "That fucking Spartan boomed me". Queefson added, “He’s so bad,” repeating it four times. Queefson then said he wanted to add Spartan to the list of GMs he never plays for again.

Luckily for @InstantRockstar Queefson seems to have made an impact immediately. LA sits atop the standings for the North American conference, while Moscow is sadly in 3rd place in the European conference. Queefson and LA eye a continental cup while Spartan sits in the corner crying about his zero cup wins.

    Queef to LA
