  1. Don't call it a comeback..
  2. The Back to Back Cups with NYA at Unassisted.. I chased the Cup going to a "super team" in Calgary, that was kinda the plan for Unassisted's career. However, after seeing some of the moves and young players NYA brought in, I saw a good opportunity with the Americans. I figured a few seasons in we might get one, and we ended up getting two in the first two seasons I was there.
  3. Winning my First Continental Cup with Helsinki as Osborne. It felt like we were so close a few seasons in a row and then to finally win was great. Unfortunately right after we did the site got hacked and we didn't really get to bask in the glory lol..
  4. ok.. then claim it big boy
  5. Jacob is part of the VHL history, if we want to get technical..

  10. Day 7 - Probably the top memory will always be from last season being inducted into the HOF as a Builder. I think it just captures the entire VHL experience I've had. I've put a lot of time into this league as a Player Builder, Grader, Magazine Editor, VHLM GM, VHL GM, and Forum Member. I joined this site in 2011 when I was going through some confusing and hard times in my life. I had moved back in with my parents, left a job I didn't like, and was seeking something to occupy my mind and fill a void. I've met a lot of great people during my time here, and while there have beens ups and downs with the league, I can see it always being a staple in my life as I really do love the community we have here.
  11. Day 6 - Ethan Osborne and Jake Wylde's HOF Inductions. Osborne was special because it was my first player and I was really passionate about the player, the team I was on, and the league in general. He was a unanimous one that was almost a sure-thing. Wylde on the other hand was an after-thought. He was my GM Player when I was running the Titans, and then was traded off when Draper took over. He was a productive defenseman who never won - I was shocked when he was inducted. Now I have a chance for a third straight player to be inducted with Unassisted, and I'm pretty fortunate for some sim-luck as there are a lot of members that have come and gone who have earned the TPE and just haven't had it translate to success.
  12. Congrats Davos
  13. Conner Low, tho
  14. Day 4 - Editing together Magazine Edition 200. We had over 300 Editions but I think that was by far the best edition ever put together. We had a lot of old Mag writers return for the special edition. A lot of great reflective articles and some great collaboration ones as well
  15. This is so clearly a multi... ?
  16. Day 2 - My Next favorite memory was being named the GM of the VHLM Expansion Team Bratislava Watchmen. I got to choose the name, and basically start the team from scratch. My whole philosophy was to graduate as many alumni to the VHL, and in my first 3 seasons I did so at a really good pace. We also won a number of cups, but I'm most proud of the first gen members I had go to the VHL and then stick it out long term with the league.
  17. Getting Drafted with my first player Ethan Osborne, first overall to the Helsinki Titans. It was then when @Higgins created a monster, that hardballin son of a bitch. I was huge into the league right from the start, but after being the first First Generation Player ever to go #1 I was just hooked completely.
  18. New York City, New York. It has been an interesting ride for the third player in the STZ Player Agency. After two consecutive Hall of Fame players, expectations for Unassisted were at an all-time high. He was drafted 2nd Overall to the Quebec City Meute. His time in Quebec City showed serious high's and low's - he had a rough rookie season, but then had a monumental sophmore and third season with the Meute. In his rookie contract with the Meute Unassisted secured Most Improved Award (S49) and then Most Goals (S50) Most Points Trophy (S50). The trophy case was stacked well in his first three seasons in the league, however his chemistry with line-mate Tom Lincoln might be the most notable occurrence in Quebec. The next season Unassisted would test Free Agency. He decided he wanted to win a cup, above all else. He joined Black Velvet, Tyson Kohler, and Aleksi Koponen to form a super team. After that team failed to even make the Finals, he was the man deemed to be disposable for the Calgary Wrangles.. Trust the Process LOL @eaglesfan036 Unassisted decided the next team would be the team he ended his career with. He wanted a team where he could be a relied upon player, and he eventually chose to sign in New York for the rest of his career. He would join a very historic Franchise in the New York Americans, but that wasn't the only reason he joined. They had young superstars Dianna Maxwell, Bobby Digital, and Phil Shankly. They also had Unassisted's old teammate Tom Lincoln. In addition to that, the reputation of Ryan Power was a dominating reason for the term on the contract. Unassisted now has one final game to play in his regular season career. He has won Two Continental Cups, in addition to countless individual awards. He has also scored 886 points in his career, making him the 7th All-Time Scorer in VHL History.
