New Look Titans - Not Very New
Helsinki, Finland
The Helsinki Titans made a number of moves this off season, yet they didn't add a single new face to the roster. They still managed to refresh the roster, and have had a number of analysts predicting a better season then last, where they held the number one position in the European Conference for the majority of the year.
The Helsinki Titans kicked off the off season replacing their number one center Damon Tyrael, with a player they selected 2nd overall in the previous GM run, Naomi Young. Young was acquired from Quebec City as the Titans reluctantly sent off Ryan Cattrall and Jarome Iginla the other way. While this set the Titans at 6 forwards, the Titans were forced to bring up Oskars Harumpf. Harumpf is no stranger to the Titans having such an impressive training camp last year, and then absolutely ripping up the VHLM as he had a historical season leading the Bratislava Watchmen to the Founder's Cup. The rookie was announced as team Alternate Captain for this season.
In the final move of the off season the Helsinki Titans moved Chris Raymond from winger to defense. With Vojczek Svoboda retiring, it left a hole in defense, which Raymond will be filling. While Don Draper, Jake Wylde, and King Czar pushed the Riga Reign to their limit in the playoffs by themselves, it should be a nice added piece to the D-Core, as they try and give Kimmo Salo some added support.
