This seems pretty cool. Kinda hard to believe we have this many teams, but definitely a big step for the league. Not overly keen on any of the team logo designs, but I like the concept idea of an English team. Definitely like a few GMs announced. Think the added teams have inspired a goalie create after Graves.

1. Looking forward, we are still a young group. Our first wave of draft picks are just entering their prime now. Our goaltender is still very young. I don't think our performance is indicitive of our player's TPA, it's more the chemistry of our lines. I think once @Enorama and @fonziGG find the right line combos and strats we are going to be a force. 2. I'm not superstitious, but I would say I'm a little stitious. Pre-game beets. 3. Washington, DC. The new season brought hope to the city of Washington, and the new VHL expansion team in DC. Hopes were high that S72 would be the year they finally turn into legitimate contenders. With a stacked roster and a sophomore goalie, the Dragons have come out of the gate rather lackluster. They currently sit tied in last place with another VHL underachieving team in Moscow. Is this a VHL Bizzaro season or are these two teams just not built to win? The belief out of DC is that they are still in it. There are a lot of things that they know they need to do differently, but playoffs, a championship - it is still not out of the realm of possibility. DC center Benny Graves has been outspoken himself about his own play. “I need to be better, we need to be better as a team in front of Wolski. The VHL is as competitive as it has ever been. There are no free ins anymore. We need to take advantage of this opportunity and perform better than expected. I know I can and will be better. We have had a lot of team discussions - there will be a turning point. There will be a different team in the latter half of this season.”

had a big VHFL game for me

1. It’s not all in him, we need to be better in front of him. We need to come out strong as we seem to be giving up a lot of chances in the start. Wolski will be a great goalie, and we will learn to be better in front of him. 2. I haven’t. I played in the WJC and that was cool. I think it will be very cool to play in the World Cup, hopefully Graves gets a shot next time. 3. I’ve held almost every job in the VHL. I think my longest tenure was Magazine Editor and that was fun. Back in the day the Grader job was cool, I remember @Victor used to have some Grader ranking thing that was pretty intense lol. 4. It is still early, so no big surprises. Of course some teams are overachieving and some are underachieving, but it is still very early. I think @OrbitingDeath Condor Adrienne’s start has been incredible, but I wouldn’t say it’s a surprise. 5. He showed this side of him last season, so it’s definitely not just a hot streak. I really believe Lesieur will drive our offense for years to come. 6. Beach Vacation. I didn’t go away until I was 26, I’ve went away at a minimum once a year now. Just love going down south lol.
