Review: I like it. I don’t know if it’s just my phone browser but the text looks LQ. I know it’s not the pixelated effects used. It kinda looks like the whole thing was over contrasted at one point and then made black and white. I like how the left side has the focus blur, I think if the right side was the same and blurred the LA Stars text t would be cool.. kind like if the text looked like part of the stone texture. Good stuff 9.5/10

Review: Overall it’s a nice piece that really stands out. I really like the cloud effects, render is cool looking and the circular frame with text is definitely cool. I don’t like how the black effects leak out of the border of the sig, I don’t know if it’s because it’s just on one side but it almost doesn’t look intentional (I’m sure it isn’t an oversight). I would say maybe a main font on the left side of the bottom portion would look nice under the clouds. Overall still really amazing stuff just giving my own opinion and taste. 10/10

What team do you think will win the championship now that DC is eliminated? 4. What was your favorite part of the playoff run? 5. With DCs first wave of players aging and starting to retire in the next couple of seasons, are these next two seasons important to win or are you looking towards the second wave of players? 6. Review: I like the look of this. Stockwork is really cool, and the blending into the text is really well done. I think the sharpness of the stock and text makes the render look really soft. Could use a bolder effect on the render to make it pop and stand out in a pretty loud signature. Overall a strong sig. 9/10

Review: I like this too. I think it's clean. Interesting stats, we def miss Ritchie in DC. Nice information write up and overall look is nice and professional. Effort level is good, I like this PT.

PLAYOFF HYPE EDITION! 1. How did you feel about how you as a player performed this season? Good. Graves was a top player, and we got into the playoffs. We were deeper in the roster so Graves didn't have a standout season, but overall I'm very happy/ 2. What are your playoff expectations? I really feel like a championship is in reach. I feel confident in our group. 3. Do you think the team performed up to expectations we had in the preseason? I really thought we would be dominant all season, but we slipped near the end of the year. Consistency has always been a tough point for our team, but we got off to a solid start and we were more consistent overall. 4. Any lucky superstitions we should take part in before this run? No Shave for playoffs/ 5. Can you grow a playoff beard? Will you? Yes and Yes 6. Anything good on TV these days? Hockey being over has left a void in my routine. NFL.

I think this is an interesting piece. Decided to give it a review as I think it's one of the more creative sigs of the week. The bg render actually had me focusing in and trying to figure out what you had done there. I actually think it looks pretty cool, and is effective. The sig overall is a little washed out, the main render could use some darkening to get it to pop. Possibly just been washed out with the gradient layer put in at the end. I like the colours and the cloud effects. The main text looks a little plain, not sure it fits with the style. Overall great work greg, nice to see you still pumping graphics out! 9/10

This is legit amazing work. That textwork is amazing. I love how you are able to make interesting text without it just blocking the render. I love the large font but taking out some of the text for render while leaving the stroke is so cool. The ripple effects make this look very cool, as if Panarin has electric waves shooting through him. The render effects are clean and crisp without compromising the quality. Colouring is very nice, and I like the applied image borders. I think the only spot I dont like is the bottom left elbow of the render, it's weird it blends into the bg. Other than that fantastic work @solas 10/10

Unassisted - Ethan Osborne - Benny Graves Jake Wylde - Bryce Zhields Rhett DeGrath Forwards: These are probably three of my favorite players I have created, all for different reasons. Osborne was my first ever player, it’s when I fell in love with this league. I can still remember vividly all of the moments I had with him. All my firsts in the VHLM, and when the hype started being built. Higgins ended up going off the board in selecting Osborne first overall, and at the time it was the first time a first generation player was selected in that spot. As Osborne, I always envisioned staying in Helsinki for my entire time in the VHL. After Osborne retired I became GM there, and fully expected to stay even after my GM Player had retired. Unassisted was the first time I explored Free Agency and chased cups and individual achievements. I think he’s still top 5 in all time scoring, and he really put up some insane numbers. I got to play with a number of members I really wanted to, and ended up finding a great home in NY, where I would then enjoy enough to start GMing. Graves is my comeback player. I’ve really enjoyed him, as I re-enter the league in this new era of the VHL. I think it’s been my redeemer after a couple of lackluster players. Performance Analysis: I think this line would be nasty. Osborne was a playmaking center who was a gritty two way player, great hockey sense, and strong leadership. He was undersized, but could move around the ice. Unassisted was a sniper who also had speed. He also was a center but played on the wing at times. I could see Osborne setting him up on a nightly basis. Graves is a very good addition to this line as he is a goal scorer with playmaking abilities. He has that physical edge to his game that the others don’t. I see him being the player that goes into the dirty ares to fetch the puck - but he also can’t be ignored as he can put up huge numbers. Defense: This one I did have to cheat. Zhields was a winger, but I’ve only created one defenseman so he will be put on the back end for this purpose. Zhields was created with the same build in mind that I have for Graves - a stocky, hard hitting, two way forward. I think you can see his build is trending that way, before I had to step away from the league because I was busy with work. In theory, he would have been good as a position switch, and his height and weight also would have made for a dynamic defensive partner. My one true defenseman I created was my GM Player in Helsinki, Jake Wylde. Wylde had a remarkable career, not only being a dominant force and racking up a huge hit total but also putting up points. Performance Analysis: I think you could pair almost any player alongside Wylde and they would be effective. I think Wylde provides some steady defensive support, with the ability to move the puck up to a dominant forward line. Zhields will have the size and skating ability to be a presence, but is definitely the weak-point in this lineup. Goaltending: Rhett DeGrath would be the starter here, with an honourable mention to the back-up goalie Ike Arkander. Like most of their time together in NY, they would be the 1-2 punch combo on this team. DeGrath has a history of outstanding play and putting a team on his back. It’s a no-brainer as he was my best goalie and actually a fan favorite for many all-time lists. I really enjoyed my time with him, it was during Project Player 2, so I made history as the first ever PP2 player to go into the HOF. I enjoyed building the goalie, but it was a bit boring after a while as you only have so many stats to fill. It is more about your team, and how they are built that makes the goalie player archetype fun. Performance Analysis: Rhett DeGrath is a dominant goalie that can take over any game. If Zhields on the back-end is the one weakness in this line-up, DeGrath more than makes up for his short-comings. Arkander would be the morale support on the bench as he was so many seasons with DeGrath in New York. Overall: I think this team is pretty solid, I would put it up against any other member team. I guess it’s a weird flex, but it’s all I got. I’ve enjoyed my time creating players in the VHL and I’ve made a wide variety of players that have been successful in many different positions. My first four players I had all went to the Hall of Fame, and I might have had a decent shot with Arkander and Zhields had I not left the league during their tenure. All in all, this was fun to look back on - maybe this gives motivation to other members who want to look back on their players.

Review: I like this. I think there's some neat effects used near the bottom of the render. The text is probably the strongpoint of this. The render kinda looks weird from the top half. Kinda makes Noah look a little awkward, especially with the facial expression lol. 8/10

Review: I like this. I think it's a good build upon the last signatures you submitted. Good lighting, render effests. Solid text. I do think the exposure layer always kinda overpowers your work. But I can respect the qork put in! 8/10

1. Groovy Dude has taken the next step, and proven why he was the number on pick two seasons ago. 2. @gorlab@.sniffuM And all the Amung Friends. 3. Red and Black 4. All of them. Anything I can bet on. 5. Stone Wolski has been our rock. 6. Good. Other than not traveling, its been basically as usual for me. I got a promotion at work so I’ve been busier than ever with work.
